My husband and I have dined here many times and love the place, so we decided to invite my brother and sister-in-law to celebrate her birthday. It was just excellent!!First, the restaurant is beyond beautiful with the murals, decor, tiny ceiling lights, etc. We started with cocktails - Paloma (I always order this and it's the best in town), Ranch Water and a tequila neat. We shared the Sol y Luna Sampler, which is guacamole & pico de gallo w/ interesting assortment of chips - so fresh and delicious! For dinner, I ordered the grilled salmon w/ garlic mashed potatoes while my brother got the cantina house salad topped w/ grilled salmon. Both were excellent. The salmon was cooked perfectly with a wonderful sear on the outside and so moist inside. My husband and SIL shared the Gambas al Ajillo (the cooked garlic in olive oil w/ red pepper is outstanding!), Shrimp Diabla on a bed of mashed sweet potatoes w/ crispy potatoes, and Red Snapper al Mojo de Ajo w/ shrimp and an amazing tomato & onion sauce and all this came with baskets of bread to soak up all those flavors. As you can see from the pictures, each dish was just beautiful. And, each of them tasted amazing (I was lucky enough to get to sample their dishes). The seafood was not overcooked and each tapa was so unique and flavorful. In addition to the delicious drinks and food, the service was excellent. The hostess made her rounds throughout the night to check on customers and our server took great care of us. The owner, Jorge, was also very attentive, periodically checking on us and helping to make my SIL's birthday very special. So, based on this as well as our previous visits, I highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed. We will be returning soon!!

If you have not been to Sol y Luna - do yourself a favor and go NOW. The food and drinks are absolutely delicious. I have never had a meal here that I did not like. And the service is always thorough and friendly. My husband and I hosted our rehearsal dinner here. We had 70 people there for dinner, and then hosted a welcome cocktail party afterwards. We could not have imagined a better venue for us to host this.Jorge and Aimee (owners) are wonderful and so patient. Leading up to the event, I emailed Jorge many times - he never got annoyed with me and was always willing to answer questions/concerns I had. He is extremely genuine and personable. Our guests are still raving about the food, the margaritas, and the atmosphere. It was all absolutely perfect!! I cannot recommend Soly y Luna enough.

Amazing place! The food was very flavorful and satisfying and just the right amount. There is a nice variety to choose from and the tapas style is great for sharing and allows you to try a variety of dishes. The prickly pear margaritas were excellent as well.

Went for a 5:30 dinner with my wife, youngest daughter and two grandchildren expecting to get Guacamole dip & Tacos like we did a while back. Get there to find out they've eliminated them except for lunch. 8 year old & 3 year old don't really go for Salmon & Crab meat over chipotle tossed vegetables. Super service, fabulous ambiance, but I sure wish I had known that they have gone "White Table clothe" Mexican food. Hence the two star food rating. I think they aren't long for the Parke Lane location if they continue. Cheese in tortillas, $12 for kids. Hope it makes it.Parking: Lane Park has a lot of shops and very few parking places, especially if the Bohemian hotel has any event. But easy walk if you have to park down the street

Went there on a Monday night with a couple friends for a quick bite. The fried duck empanadas were really good . The remaining dishes were ok . The steak on their house salad was mediocre and overcooked. The ambiance is beautiful though - and the drinks are good . Service is nice .

Great service! The hostess and wait staff were very pleasant and prompt. The food was very good. Highly recommend the queso and chorizo dip and the Sábana Mexicana! The Cucumber Mojito was amazing! This will definitely be on our list for a return visit.

First time visit ...I ordered the crabmeat enchiladas; wife got the grilled salmon. .... salmon dish was very good ... But there was little to no crabmeat in my two enchiladas and not tasty -- avoid this dish, it should be removed from menu.

Service was good, the ambiance was nice but I miss the old place. The food was great but not as good as I remember in the old location.

The food is outstanding but my go to is the chicken tortilla soup. The ambiance is beautiful, coupled with lovely drinks and people. Expect a carefree, fun night, with a touch of elegance and Mexican inspired, delightful charm.

The food and atmosphere were great. The only issue with service was that the server was new and still finding her way. I'm sure she'll improve. She was attentive and friendly.

A few interesting tequila choices along with the usual suspects. Wonderful staff and a fairly laid back environment on a weeknight.I had no food but the Chile en nagado looked good.

Are here on a business trip. They do reservations, but thankfully took my 4 member walk in party as we went in for dinner early. The food was mostly good. I ordered the crab enchiladas and they were delicious. My friend's duck empanadas left something to desired. Unfortunately, their mojitos were bitter as they used seltzer water instead of tonic. We had to ask the waiter to remake them and we were charged 2x for undrinkable first drinks and correct ones.We stayed a while as it was a business dinner. Our churro dessert order was forgotten as well as a soda order. After flagging down the waiter after 20min, he said he'd reorder churros and comp them, which he did.The atmosphere is loud due to high ceilings and concrete floors. I give it a 4 star for the crab enchiladas.
