“It was not busy. I ordered the 8 pc chicken tenders meal. I thought about getting the fill-up box, but a dozen chicken bites, four pieces of chicken, fries and biscuits isn't worth twenty bucks. With this box, I got 8 pieces of chicken, four biscuits, and three large sides. It was a complete dinner. Enough food for three people, maybe four. It cost $31.89 with tax. The food was hot and tasted great. The coleslaw was a little bitter. Not as sweet as usual. The chicken had great crunch. The macaroni and cheese was creamy. The mashed potatoes were in a separate container as was the gravy. It was all good.“

“We were in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, for a basketball tournament and needed to get something to eat, so we visited this restaurant cause it was still open and it was late. The restaurant was very spacious and clean. The waiter came right over and took our order. I think i ordered some kind of roast beef, and it was pretty good. Whatever my girlfriend ordered, she said it was too salty and couldn't eat it. I told her to send it back, but she said it was getting late and I could take it home and eat it. The alcoholic drinks were okay. Overall, it was a decent place, and the food was good.“

“I needed to eat my feelings today and the fish totally made me feel better ❤️ Fresh fried okra, bbq flavored home fries *probably why people are confused by the texture and taste quality being so good* Slaw was delicious (I stole a bite from Pops food) I luckily was greeted by the owner who made me feel welcome (it has to be that warm smile). I sat there wanting everything on the menu and all I could say was UHHH. I see the ribs are good so count us in for another visit or 4. We will probably see what y'all got Sunday since we live down the street. Thanks for the awesome food. I ate before I reviewed because I was starving so no picture like I usually do.“

“Food always great! The staff always seem at this location to be a bit rushed. Even when no crowd they are kind of like “deer in headlights” almost like they forget to be welcoming and friendly. People love this place and if the staff understood how a little “how are you” and “come again” might make all the difference. But anyhow, the food is great.“
