My wife and I used to love dreamland, and I feel as though the quality we have expected is no longer there. The tips and chips are my go-to meal if they have it, and it was a definite hit about 2 years ago, and now it's hit or miss. The tips are either perfectly done with a great sauce and flavor or kind of meh with either dry tips or no flavor. Went here after Bama homecoming and rushed to beat the crowd. No wait to be seated at 330pm but we waited almost an hour for the food. It appeared they were understaffed on the floor as well as the kitchen. The manager and hostess were doing very little to help which ticked me off. The owners need to reevaluate the management of this location to ensure they can do more than just stand around. They don't know how to be teamplayers when the place gets jamming. I hate to say it, but this is just not my favorite chain. The food choices are minimal. The barbecue is not the best as it is advertised in my opinion. And the service, at this particular location, was good but not great. Considering we were in, the location of the University of Alabama, I expected way better. Again, this is just my opinion.
