Omg..This was my first time here and I was lost at the menu it was so many great options to choose from! I decided on the fried chicken liver for the starter. They served it with gravy(delicious). We got complimentary HOMEMADE cornbread that was absolutely to die for. I ordered the chicken and dressing with the collard greens and fried okra.. The dressing was seasoned to perfection. The okra was fried perfectly. My only thing was the greens wasn't a fan of them. But because it was so many great options I took a to go plate!! If you want some good no GREAT southern food and you're passing through please stop by and give them a try!! Definitely making this a spot on my favorites list. Oh and its very affordable?

I had a taste for catfish today so since I was in Northport I decided on Blue Plate. Omg the best decision! I got the fried catfish, turnip greens and purple hull peas. The fish was piping hot and tasted so good. The veggies were delicious. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a home cooked meal from a restaurant. We eat here often and they are consistent with their food. Always good and tasty.
