Joe Simpson was our “waiter” and did an outstanding job again! We look for him and or request him when we come in. He is always checking on us and is very attentive to our drink refills and asks how things are going or if we need something! Makes great recommendations too!! Outstanding employee!!

6 friends in for a birthday lunch on early Saturday afternoon. Quick seating and service. Brenden was our server and did an excellent job; very attentive to our requests. 4 ordered the 3-course steak specials; 2 ordered shrimp or chicken. The 6 oz steaks were more than ample for lunch (2 had to be sent back for more cooking, but the staff was really cooperative in doing so). The salads and soups were great as were the large sizes of cheesecake! Again, the service was excellent.

My husband and I visited outback in Florence, Al Feb 3,2024 for lunch. The salads? Can't really mess one of those up. Onion was good. He ordered a bone in ribeye but the only thing missing on his plate was well, the bone, and the steak was extremely thin. I ordered a Prime rib. The problem with the prime ribs? When we go to outback it is always on the weekends. According to the menu the prime ribs are available all day. Not so much if you order one from the florence. I have managed to get a total of 2 out of the times we've been there. They are never available. Therefore, I ordered a Ribeye as well. Two problems with mine, it was extremely thin and spicy hot. The baked potato had a rotted spot in the middle of it. The manager came around and said she'd make it right. We both decided to have the remakes put into a to go box. (Big mistake) We live an hour away. By the time we got home and unpacked out food we quickly realized we should have never said anything. My ribeye was so hot I couldn't eat it. THIS is the food they sent home after a good 45min wait to recook it. It was worse than the first plates we got. We asked for a drink to go, which we never received. Unfortunately, our business will be elsewhere from now on. That was a pricey lesson to learn.

Food was ice cold from the vent blowing down on it and most of my prime rib went home to the dogs. For the same price make you a reservation to a real local "steak house"

Came in for my birthday ordered a medium rare steak. First time came out way too rare so I sent it back the 2nd time was burnt past the well done mark and the 3rd time it was too rare again but I just drowned it in sauce and ate it. The server and manager apologized however an apology really doesn't fix a messed up birthday dinner, no nothing was comped no discounts just an hour wait before I could eat my steak 30 minutes after my mother ate hers

We had the best service on a busy Saturday night! We went to Florence to grab a quick bite to eat and then back home around 8:00 pm. The place we were going to (more of a fast food place) ended up being closed so even though we weren’t “dressed” to go in , we chose Outback and we’re so glad we did! Lilly was our server and treated us so well! We had the nicest conversation and she gave some of the best service we’ve EVER had ANYWHERE!!! Our food was good, like always, but our service is what we were most impressed with—it’s rare these days.
