“As soon as we arrived even though it was a cold day the waitress cut the air conditioner on , our appetizer arrived at the same time our food did and the staff was discussing the smell and condition of the restroom behind us repeatedly so that was kinda gross while we were eating . The chairs were very uncomfortable and some waitress fussed at least 10 minutes about her coworkers which I found to be rude . That's not the environment I want to be in. On a positive note the hush puppies and slaw were fantastic. Our waitress was nice enough.”

“I came here on 1/05/2024 and had the ribeye (takeout) and I must say that it was the best tasting yet tender steak I’ve had in a long time. We were visiting from Tennessee and this stop was totally worth it.”

“Third time eating here as I'm passing though the area. Great food, friendly staff but not as attentive to customers needs as you would expect when slow. 1 to 2 tables per waitress.”

“Went there excited to eat and got there and was a long wait only one person on the register and the dine in area was a complete mess ended up leaving as the wait was to long.”

“We stopped in for lunch on our trip home from the cruise port. They had a large menu and decent prices. Our waitress was friendly and the food was good. The restaurant is in a historic building in the downtown area.”

“Excellent service from Leigh Anne. Kept our tea glasses full and quickly brought requested condiments. Catfish cooked perfectly-lightly battered and just right amount of saltiness. Coleslaw was great. Reminded us of old KFC style they don’t serve anymore. Cheese grits were good. Wished we had tried the turnip greens so many others seemed to order. Cocktail and tarter sauce to our liking. Like I make at home. Would definitely come back if pass by here again.”

“Another amazing take-away/delivery. Been a customer since it opened. Personally rate this as the best pizzas in Jersey. I always get lovely pizzas from Hot Stuff. Tonight's was stunning. Arrived in only half an hour, nice and hot. I virtually inhaled the thing, hardly any chewing hahaha And they have a great range of side dishes and chippy style food as well and at great prices. The place was clean and the staff were really friendly. We ordered breakfast burritos, hashbrowns, and coffee. The burritos were fresh and tasty, but the hashbrowns were cold. The coffee was decent, but could have been hotter.Despite this, the overall experience was slightly above average due to the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the burritos. We'll give it another try for sure.”

“I sometimes stop here on the way to my fish camp that's on the Alabama River. It's only another 30 minutes away.I always get my favorite, 12" tuna fish with lots of jalapenos. I eat half for lunch and save the other half for dinner.If my grandson is with me, I have to get two 12" subs. He likes the meatball sub.The inside is very clean. The staff has always been friendly.”

“It's currently the best spot in the area....their eggrolls are good...I do carryout.....their policy sucks about the buffet....it's "not" all you can eat...and everything is weighed....besides that....their food is good.Parking: Haven't counted the parking spaces but there's always ample parking, never had an issue with parking.”

But I decided to go to Sonic this morning and there was a really nice respectful young black girl seem like she was only one honestly there. But my food came back super good fresh.
