I almost gave it 4 stars but thought about it and decided that yes for the area it is the best BBQ in the area. I’ve reviewed bbq from about every state in the SE, Memphis ribs and Texas brisket is still the best by a long shot .The ribs here are the go to—my rack was a little tough (by no means fall off the bone), but juicy and tasty. The smoked sausages were decent —hillshire almost, so probably won’t get again, but still good. The best item by a long shot is the banana pudding—GET it. Dry rub seasoning is also legit. Overall a great bbq place

My husband swears by this place so had to come in. Location is slightly off the beaten path, which I loved, and it looked homey and smelled amazing as soon as I pulled in. Got 4 ribs, slaw and banana pudding. Was served in minutes of ordering and think everyone workiyasked after me so great service.Sauce was a bit spicy on the finish and loved dunking it in the bread provided. The pudding was LEGIT best ever! Light, not too sweet, I could eat a bucket! Will be back, thanks for the tip babe!

My standard order now is a rack of ribs, 2 sausages, mac and cheese and banana pudding. Everything is delicious and tasty they package everything very well for traveling. I normally stop and eat about half of it when I stop for the night. Their sauce is amazing. You can see the pit right in the building. It is definitely worth a visit. I have read some mediocre reviews and these people don't know what they are talking about. I have been here several times it is on my drive home. It's not right on the freeway but it's only 5 minutes to get there. The building is full of history.Parking: Parking is easy, large lot always spaces even if crowded

We just ordered a rack of ribs and they were on point! The ribs were so delicious, I almost ordered another rack. Staff was amazing! One staff member just stood and talked to us about the history of that location and we could tell he was passionate about the place and history. Will definitely be going back!!

Dreamland BBQ is the standard for BBQ in AL. BUT this trip was disappointing. As usual, the sauce was amazing. The service was spectacular. The ribs, unfortunately, were tough with very little meat on them. I am chalking this up to "we just got a bad rack". I'll always go back to Dreamland and this won't stop me.

Been going there for 30 years and the quality is still the same. More choices of food now, that is the only difference. Before it was ribs and white bread, take it or leave it, now they expanded the menu. All is good but the ribs and banana pudding are still the best.
