Went in for a couple items to snack on and ended up buying a strawberry cake, cheese straws, the most amazing flaky butter flake rolls, omg yummy, pound cake, banana bread and a darling bunny cookie for my Grandaughter. I’m from Central Cali visiting my daughter, wish we had one in our area.

I had an issue with a rude employee. I posted a comment about my experience & someone from Edgar's quickly responded. I really appreciate them reaching out to me & trying to make it right. That's great customer service. Thank you!

My daughter graduated from University of Alabama spring of 2023 she always talked about the strawberry cake and how it is her favorite Fast forward until today. she came out of brain surgery and requested the strawberry cake. so as her dad I called Edgers to have it shipped up to NJ to make sure she had the cake for when she was able to eat it. it put a great smile on her face and can not wait to bite into it. thank you from the bottom of my heart

Lovely bakery and cafe! There is an area inside with pre-packaged baked goods like cookies, bread, loaf cakes, etc. But also a huge selection of various pastries, cakes, cookies, and more at the front in a display case. We came on a Saturday and they had a few samples of their baked goods to try. They have breakfast foods, such as biscuits, pancakes, French toast, omelettes. You order at the front and sit down, and they’ll bring it to you.I ordered the southwest omelette which has bell peppers, onions, cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, and a meat (I got Turkey) and comes with toast & one side (I got fruit). I was a bit disappointed in the omelette, as I was expecting the cheese to be nice and melted into it, but I just got cold cheese on top.My boyfriend enjoyed his sausage egg cheese croissant. It was a pretty big sandwich but did not come with a side. The only downside is that nothing seems seasoned. I had to add salt/pepper to my omelette , and my friend who ordered the all American breakfast agreed that everything was desperately in need of some seasoning. And for the price, I would expect more.

They just sold my dad the oldest driest cupcakes for an exaggerated price. He won't bring them back cause he's just that way. But don't buy the cupcakes there. Most awful cake I've ever tasted.

Absolutely amazing.

The breakfast is delicious! One of my favorite breakfast spots in Tuscaloosa. Haven't had the bakery desserts yet but I'm sure they will be just as great.

Thank you so much to the WONDERFUL and friendly staff for saving the day today! I went to pick up my daughter's birthday cake from a large chain store and when I got there they had cancelled my order. No notification, no call, just cancelled. So I had to find someone to make my daughter's cake on the day of her party. I showed them a picture of what I ordered from the other store and within 30 minutes I was walking out with a beautiful cake. It was so refreshing to walk into a store and have someone smile and welcome you into the store. They went above and beyond and I appreciate it more than they'll ever know!

I have gone to Edgar's for a few years now and their desserts never disappoint! However, the past few times I have ordered breakfast the staff has seemed confused when it's an item they have on the menu. I've ordered the same thing I always do, and it's come out wrong the past three times. Also, do not order the eggs they are dry and gross. Stick to just desserts if you plan on coming here!

This is the 4th cake I've bought from this location that has not been fresh. The last time I called and they called back and said no one else had complained. Hoover location is wonderful and we have started driving to Hoover to get a fresh cake. We thought we would give it another try and wishing we hadn't: (
