Can't tell if this business is called "T Town Crab" as listed on YELP or "Yummy Crab" per the sign out front. We visited on Sunday, April 7, 2024. First impressions we were wary. At 5:00 pm on a Sunday there were no cars in the lot. But we soldiered on and went in. I was a little leery because of the "Help Wanted" sign on the front door, but since Covid many restaurants have struggled with help. When we entered, there was no one in the restaurant. After a 2 minute wait, a young man came out of the kitchen and led us to a table. We passed a table of dirty dishes and bags. Not sure if that was left over from lunch or a recent party that had dined. We then waited, and waited, and waited. We never saw another person. No drink order, no "I'll be with you in a minute," just nothing. Once seated we never saw another person. So we got up after 10 minutes and left. So honestly I don't know if the food is good, but the service was literally non-existent. We were travelers passing through. If we had been local residents we might have tried it again since we know how difficult it still is to hire staff. All in all, a very disappointing experience.

Exceptional combo of delicious food, value, proximity to UA and again, delicious food. Perfect locals breakfast spot for anyone visiting.

I've tried all three of these types of restaurants in Tuscaloosa and this one is the worst. First, they had one girl seating the customers, waiting tables, answering the phone, and apparently talking to her boyfriend. Needless to say refills on tea was sparse. Crab was in the combo I had, the only thing they gave to crack the claws was a plastic fork. Luckily I could crack them by squeezing them. Also, the shrimp were cooked way too long and the fried rice was pretty much cold. There are 2 way better choices than this, The Juicy Crab and the Juicy Seafood.

Didn't give 5 stars because it was very cold in the restaurant.

Management here is so nice, and the boils are addictive TO ME.when you purchase a one pound boil they give you a complimentary fried rice.and let me tell you it's the best tasting fried rice I've ever eaten.

Went there Friday may 14th terrible service. Waitress had pajamas on. Never got my food but was charged for it. Horrible place to go. Need to train personnel.

Honestly the shrimp was so delicious. My new favorite place. Me and my friend decided to get dinner one night and everything about this little restaurant was great, the service, the food , the decor. You guys need to try it out. I got half a lb of Cajun shrimp hot and I was a little skeptical at first of how fresh it would taste especially since I went late around 8 but I was so wrong, it was delicious perfectly spicy. I'll definitely be going back a lot more. This place deserves 5 stars

We visit frequently. We always get the bag of crab legs, sausage, & shrimp. On every visit so far food is off the chain. We order extra corn as well. Their corn is best I have ever eaten. Not a long wait. Can also call in your order in advance and pick it up.
