Came here since it was on the way home from Hot Springs for the first time, and I have to say the ribs here are bomb! Didn't even need sauce to give it any flavor. The seafood gumbo was a bit salty but, bearable. It was a bit different from what I'm accustomed to. Definitely recommend the barbecue here though minus the sausage. Very tender and breaks without a knife.
I think I got the Red Oak Spread. It had some of everything BBQ on a bed of the best curly wedge fries I've ever had. Only critique is it could have used more cheese on the fries, and a side of sour cream or ranch. I could only eat half of it. Took the rest home, heated up in a skillet, and threw two fried eggs on it, and it was still amazing!

Ok, the problem with this place is that it's not next door to my house! The grilled cheese brisket sandwich is the perfect mix of savory, sweet, and salt. I'm hard to impress, but this was awesome! I'll be back in the area just to eat here! Can I camp out in the parking lot?
