“I had their house specialy on the Hickory smoked steak. My friend and I ordered a pair (medium well). Her steak was right. However, mine was served burned (charred) on half of it. The parts salvaged tasted ok and "well done". No pink. So at least half of it was done where it was most important to deliver. But I wasn't so happy with mine. I don't normally have issues there. It is on the pricier side, so i was suprised it got sent out. I might give them another try. It is popular localy.“

“My brother was working near here. The weather was nice and enjoyed eating outside. Enjoyed the food and great view on the water. I messed up getting the duck food and spilt it. The duck came on the patio. Never have seen so many oyster shells which was cool. The patio though has way to many heaters. Also if you want to eat inside still good views. I do feel this is a hidden gem for the area.Wheelchair accessibility: Didn't seem like it was but could be wrong. We took the stairs to get to it.“
“We made a spontaneous stop too grab food on our way home and I'm so glad we did. The catfish was spot on, the jumbo shrimp were cooked to crispy perfection and the hushpuppies were delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. The building is very small and old but clean and well decorated. We will absolutely be back and you should try it too!“

Stopped yesterday and got dessert called "Christmas Crack" and my favorite desert has always been coconut cream pie...seriously....this was the best pie I have ever had and it's always my go to dessert. “Fried catfish was excellent. The fried shrimp looked flattened. (Like from a pre-frozen box?) French fries were limp, soft and barely warm. Not crispy at all. Coleslaw was ok. Tasted and looked like there was mustard in it. It had a yellowish tint. Not used to that in coleslaw but, may be the way they make it in this area.“

It is rare for all of our family to finish everything on our plates, but not at this place. Southern hospitality is real, and it starts right here at the Red Oak Fillin Station. Try the brisket grilled cheese. It will knock your socks off.“

“I had the Thai Pineapple Shrimp with fried rice and it was excellent. Lots of medium size shrimp more than I could eat. Also had wonton soup and egg rolls. All was good. Took a pic of the egg rolls as dip looked like a heart. :-) only reason not 5 stars was one meal out of 4 was delayed for some reason.“

“A friend and I went to the Hot Springs, AR, location to celebrate her birthday. She had been craving lobster and by happy coincidence, it was a Monday and the special was a Maine lobster tail and shrimp scampi! We were pleasantly surprised that the lobster tail wasn't tiny and both it and the shrimp were delicious! The cocktails were okay, but my espresso martini had cream in it when I requested that it wouldn't. Service was fast and our waiter was attentive.I didn't give a 5 star overall rating because there was just nothing really special about the meal or service.“
“This place had great food and good service. It is a cafe in the back of a mexican mini mart. The waitstaff speak english. You are going to get authentic mexican food here. The salsa was flavorable but not hot but a squirt of green sauce on the table took care of that. Green sauce was fire! I had one of the numero uno mole sauces ever. Big Dave had lengua and el pastor tacos which he enjoyed.This was a great find for us.“
“as a Mexican American from Texas, I have never had a better fajita experience. I ordered the mixed fajita plate and a margarita and a green salsa on the side. Absolutely delicious, I ate until I could not. The chips were good, but not my favorite, the salsa however, addicting, like nothing I’ve ever had. 10/10 recommend to everyone.“
