Plesant staff , Very accommodating, Very clean . Beds where great to sleep

Customer service is five stars. Every employee we spoke to during our 3 day stay was extremely helpful and welcoming.Having said that, everything else was a disappointment.The room itself wasn't clean. There were several items laying around on the floor from the last people who had stayed there. I found a used beauty blender, hair clips and an entire unopened beard trimmer kit which was under the bed.There was white spray residue on literally every wood grain surface. I don't know if it was pledge cleaner or bug spray but it smelled more like bug spray. The coffee maker smelled so bad I couldn't use it and so did the mini fridge.The bathroom was probably the biggest issue. Never at any time during three days did we get to have a hot shower. Room temperature was about as good as it got and to achieve that you had to turn the faucet all the way to hot and let it run for several minutes. I even tried filling the tub for a regular bath but that went just as poorly. I have never stayed anywhere that didn't have hot water, let alone a Hilton. On top of that the shower curtain smelled like mildew and the toilet seat had stains and damage. The sink counter top was also falling off of the wall. Also the bedroom curtain was broken and didn't close all the way.Breakfast was not worth 12.50 which I'll admit is less than getting even McDonald's but at least McDonald's would have had options. There wasn't even individual milk cartons or any drinks that weren't watered down and shared and touched by everyone. There was almost nothing left of the fruit or bacon when we got there at 7:30 and it wasn't busy or full. I've been to plenty of places where the breakfast was free and had a much better selection.All in all, I feel like the employees deserve a better place to work since the service they provided was so great but the actual place they work isn't up to standard. Whoever owns this particular Hilton should maybe reconsider owning hotels. They aren't very good at it.

I was disappointed with our stay this time at Hilton Gardens Inn in Jonesboro. The bed frame of the beds were too far out and we kept hitting our knees and feet on the wood and legs. We had to flush the toilet two or three times before it would flush properly. The bathroom wall was not finished looked pretty bad. The Keurig coffee maker did not work at all. The refrigerator was not secured in place it kept scooting back every time you would shut the door. The chlorine in the pool room was so strong we couldn't go swimming because it made us nauseous so my grandson didn't get to swim this time and that was heart breaking for him because that's the whole reason we go to stay at the hotel in the winter. On a positive note the staff was wonderful and very accommodating!

This is by far the worst Hilton hotel i ever stayed at. When i first got to my room, they had stains all over the carpet, even a few blood stains, and the room smelled like urine. The next morning when i went to get breakfast i got a biscuit and my wife got a little fruit. We were greeted with a 27$ bill for 2 biscuits, a piece of sausage and a little fruit. This is the first hilton i ever stayed at that did not offer free breakfast. However it was set up like it was free. This is a scam they are running, watch out for this scam. I don't expect much from hotels, but clean rooms and a basic free breakfast is not much to ask.

You hear about southern hospitality all of the time but I’ve never truly experienced it like I did for a 1-night stay at Hilton Garden Inn Jonesboro.Upon using the app to book two adjoining rooms, I was having issues. I called the hotel directly and Daniel answered. Not only was Daniel friendly and accommodating, his demeanor was pure and welcoming. My husband (hearing Daniel on speakerphone) was even impressed by how friendly and helpful he was.Once we arrived, Steve was the associate that checked us in and was also very helpful and friendly. It started to feel a bit twilight-zone-ish because we just aren’t used to such high spirits when traveling so far from home. This morning when heading out, there was a girl at the front desk. The woman this morning matched the pleasant service we received the evening before. She asked how our night was and wished us safe travels.The rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. Sure they could probably use an update here and there but if you aren’t looking for issues, you wouldn’t notice them.I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to have such sweet, enjoyable customer service as we experienced at Hilton Garden Inn Jonesboro. Thank you Daniel, Steve, and the woman this morning for showing us true Southern Hospitality.

we was charged a price of 148 plus the 25 deposit for each room we had 2 rooms but when we checked out they changed the price on us taking our deposit down to not even 4 dollars per room! we really needed that money back and they shouldn’t be able to just change it like

This is my second time coming to this location and it's been a great time the second time around, as well. I went during thanksgiving weekend so there was no staff there besides front desk because of the holiday, but maintenance and front desk was very accommodating and gave us extra towels/bags up front on request along with full sized bottles of water for free. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. HGI is my go to hotel any time I'm in the area. Thanks again!
