I got some sushi and I told them I wanted eel added on the inside. It was about as big as an 8 dollar sushi. I expected it to be a tiny bit fatter.

The only reason I'm giving two stars is because our server was really sweet. Me and my fiance received our dishes at inconsistent times and when I received my hibachi the veggies weren't even cooked through. No grill marks or anything on it. Our kids meal was never ordered, and on top of that our sushi was subpar at best. The sashimi tasted like it was dried out and stale. The rice also had the same mouth feel and was slightly gummy. All in all we paid almost 100 dollars for something I could have gotten at a different hibachi spot for half the price and much better quality. We will not be taking our business back to Sumo's.

When in the Jonesboro area, this sushi restaurant is worth stopping at. The sushi is very good (normal size rolls), the crab ragoons are okay (small portions), the atmosphere is wonderful, the staff is friendly, and the quality is great. Worth a dine-in if you’re there!

We loved our dinner at sumo. When it came out it was not very hot but they took care of that took it back to the kitchen and heated it up and it was absolutely fabulous. I appreciate the patience of our server and the kitchen staff they were very busy and I'm sure that's what caused the issue. But is it really an issue if they correct it? We didn't think so so we give it five stars.

Great experience! We were here for my niece's 9th birthday, and she had a wonderful time! They brought her a special dessert, and sang happy birthday to her. Someone made her a balloon animal and her eyes and face were just lighted up the whole time! Food was great and service was great!

I have eaten at this hibachi restaurant several times and it has always been good. They have typical hibachi dishes and sushi. They also have a large bar, alcoholic drinks, and private rooms you can rent. They offer grills, where a chef cooks your meal in front of you or table service. Good restaurant and I will visit again.Vegetarian options: There are plenty of options here for vegetarians.Dietary restrictions: They seem to mark the menus well but not sure about cross-contamination when it comes to dietary restrictions.Parking: Plenty of parking although a new hotel is next door which may affect it during peak times.Kid-friendliness: Caters to children and they have a children's menu.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking and access are available to wheelchair users.
