“The food, service, and atmosphere are all OFF THE CHARTS. Most inclusive cafe I've ever been to in my life, and they played Andrew Bird while I was eating here. So if you ask me, it is a 100/10 place to be. Well worth waiting in line. Your food is coming blazing out of the kitchen anyway, and it is going to be delicious. This place is one of the reasons I want to move to Little Rock! I would be here every day!Vegetarian options: The Root takes the guesswork out of your decision-making with clearly labeled vegetarian and grain-free menu items so that the only dilemma will be which type of delicious you're in the mood for.Parking: The parking lot is small, but we did not have any trouble finding a space when we were there. Tables seem to flip fairly quickly because the kitchen is staffed by people going totally beast mode in every way possible, so you shouldn't have an issue. For context, we were there at lunch time after the eclipse, so people were out in droves. Still no issues.Kid-friendliness: This place is pet- and family-friendly. Plenty of youngsters and furbabies shared the space with no issues.“
“We have been wanting to go for a long time but haven't had the chance. Finally made reservations for a group birthday dinner with some friends. We have definitely been missing out. The "Much Ado About Nothing" old fashioned was spot on. The Tuna Melon Nachos were amazing and bursting with fresh flavor. For mains I got the Osso Bucco and my wife got the redfish, both were cooked perfectly. The flavors were well balanced and complemented the main of the dish very well. The bread pudding was a very nice finish to our meal. We will definitely be back soon.“
“I look at the reviews of this place! I can certainly say that you just can't please everyone. Most of these people no matter where they go they gonna find at least one thing to complain about. I have not found a completely perfect place. With that being said my Wife Mother and I had a great time!“
“1 of my favs when in the little rock area Today i walked in a guy from behind the bar walked past us didnt speak that kind of made me mad but love the place so i waited 5 minutes not a person in sight and guy showed back up as we left We will be back and try again but guy that cant say even say hi needs to be gone“
“Had a great experience at Tacos for Life, shoutout to Alex for the fantastic service. She informed me that my meal was contributing to a good cause overseas, which added an extra positive vibe. Lots of menu options and the overall atmosphere was very welcoming.-TP“
“The food was excellent. This was our first experience and we enjoyed it. It was a little pricey in my book but that seems be a trend everywhere. We had 2 Appetizers and slit a sandwich. 1 alcoholic drink each. (2) $50. We will visit them again.“
“Tl;dr: AMAZING FOOD, kind service, and lovely atmosphere. Couldn't recommend this place more. Very cute little place. Playing really nice music, decor is lovely, they have flowers in bottles on the table. It's clean and decorated okay, but they could use a little more on the walls to decorate. Service is good so far, everyone seems very polite and kind. The service is on the 'slower' side, not in a bad way! This is a relaxed joint, probably great for dates. On top of that, this food is INCREDIBLY GOOD. I got the fried mushrooms. They're large sized mushrooms, they seem to be breaded in house, but I don't know for sure (I can taste rosemary or thyme b in the breading I love it so much). I also got the mushroom and Swiss burger. Bun was soft, the burger was cooked perfectly. Delicious stuff, I got way too much for one person, the portion sizes are great.“
“Started off with some appetizers fried calamari, and 1 dozen raw oysters. We all got the fried baskets. Those oysters were very large they were the best tasting oysters that I could remember they just slid right down. Only down fall was it was extremely loud in there. Don't expect to have a conversation that u need hear “
“Anybody that lives in Little Rock AR and enjoys fine dining must try the Brave New Restaurant on the river! Even if you are just passing through it's a must try... The food is delicious and the ambiance is beyond reproach! Ask for Ricardo... you will not be disappointed!“
“Today was my and my husband’s first time in. The service was quick and the food was excellent!!! The staff was friendly and we liked how they checked frequently to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. Another thing that they do different is that they send someone table to table with complimentary ice cream samples. We were passing through on our way back to Dallas, Texas, and David’s only appears to be in Arkansas…. We would love to see them expand further out!!“
“came with a large dinner party, loved every minute! I had the pretzel crusted pork tenderloin w/ green beans & mashed potatoes. it's been weeks and I still daydream about this dish! great restaurant with great staff.Kid-friendliness: several kids in our party, in carriers and highchairs as well. kids menu was simple and appropriate“
“Whether you order through GrubHub or decide to dine in, the food is AMAZING! Of course when you dine in you get to experience the staff that is so friendly and warm hearted. I got to meet the owner today. He was so down to earth I couldn’t believe he runs this place! LOL! You want to experience great people and/or great food… this is the spot!“
“Awkward service and above average food. Was placed right next to a door to the outside patio that people were constantly opening and was letting in bursts of cold air. Not a good place for a table. service was non attentive and we had to flag another waiter after sitting for 20 min waiting to order with only water. the steak and fries were excellent and well seasoned. Love the half bottle wine list.“
“The customer service was wonderful starting with Dani, who worked with us in reserving adequate space for our sister's birthday. Then it continued with Bailey & Whitney, who were our waitresses for the birthday dinner. They were attentive without being overbearing & our family really appreciated how they made sure to not interrupt during any of the speeches or pictures. Everyone really enjoyed their food & I'm sure there will be repeat customers. Thank you for helping to make the birthday girl's day memorable!“
“The food is Great! If you looking for that good ole soul food taste that ya granny had, this is the spot. You will not be disappointed. The staff is AMAZING!!!!! Very welcoming. If I ever come back to Arkansas, I'll be stopping by for sure.“
“Meleah was wonderful, food was epic and drinks were yummy! Food comes out hot and fresh! We visited two nights in a row because it was the best place we ate in Little Rock. We even had amazing leftovers! Ask for Meleah, she was super awesome, hard worker and got everything done perfect. Can't say enough great things about it or our service!Dietary restrictions: Lots of Gluten free options. I'm celiac and had no issues. Knowledgeable staff and GF food was devine!!!“
“4*on food b/c onion rings where burned yet sogging with crust falling off. Hushpuppies were oil soaked on the outer third of crust...4* on atmosphere due to sticky tabletops, lack of sugar substitute on the tables and secondary dinning hall's restroom was in need of cleaning. The soap dispenser was off the wall and not in working order. (How do employees wash their hands before returning to work?)Shrimp was good as always. Fried catfish was delicious as we've come to expect.“
“LOVE this place. Pizza rivals anything in town, Tamales like my grandmother used to make, hearty, healthy Salads, Burgers with handmade beef patties, and the people there are kind and so helpful. We eat at Izzy's all the time.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free items“
“Came here last night and had a great time! Our table got two wine flights, a cocktail (I don’t remember the name of it), the standard grilled cheese, spicy beef, and duck pastrami. It was a little loud, and at the end we felt like we were being rushed out the door, but everything else was great!“
“Breakfast on a Bun but I got French Toast instead of a Bun I told them no eggs bt still got them on my sandwich which still was good but ima rate it 8/10 hopefully I make it back to try the Turkey burger b4 they close! Alrite Lil Rock yall Banging with tha food 2nd Winn for me Coming from TX??“
“First time visitors! When we arrived we wasn't greeted so I automatically assumed everything about this place would be trash. I'm huge on customer service. But he apologized for that. He was very respectful. We ordered food came out on this train which the kids absolutely loved. The food was hot and very very good...as my kids said "dad this food slappin" ? ? #WeWillBeback“
“Best tenders I've had in a long time (perhaps because I don't have tenders often). That said, they are big, juicy, crunchy and hit the spot after a long day at work. The fries were also nice and crunchy. I love a little heat so asked for the mango habanero and kick in bourbon dips. Both were great! The local cider on tap was easy to drink and paired well with the chicken to create a nice meal of warm hugs for the belly. The waitress was awesome! She even sat down to explain the saucers. Make sure to ask. Highly recommend this spot for an affordable, casual, relaxing meal.“
“So a friend suggested we go here because they have Karaoke on Saturday nights… it was a blast good singers and the food was also very good. The staff was great and the owner bought us a drink as a thank you for coming in… how cool is that…. It you want to go somewhere that feels friendly and you just want to chill with like minded people this place is awesome…. Plus the name is cool… lol be sure and buy a T-ShirtParking: The parking is limited but there is a large dirt lot next door… just watch your step“
“Favorite resteraunt of ours! Service is top notch, food is impeccable! The staff is amazing! Courtney always makes us feel important and is the sweetest and warmest woman! Their food is amazing and I have never met a drink I didn't enjoy there. If you have not been here, go! You will not be disappointed!“
“This isn't the place you think about when you want a nice relaxing meal. But it is the place you go to, for a great night out with friends. From Pool to Karaoke, it's always a fun night out. It's a staple for those of us that worked the Cantrell/Riverdale area. Lunches and happy hour in the late 90's. Great memories.“
“This restaurant is a hidden secret. Well I have to let the cat out of the bag. The people are friendly, food is delicious, service is fast and the atmosphere was great. Do yourself a favor and make your way to Brewster 2 Soul Food Restaurant.“
“I am so happy this was recommended to me. If I ever build up enough motivation to write a book on the best burger joints in each state, this place would definitely be a finalist for Arkansas. Considering it's only a VERY short walk from the Capital, the décor inside was politically relevant. Signs, stickers, and shirts were on the walls and, don't worry, it's bipartisan. Ample parking and awesome staff! My server (whom I wish I remember her name) was amazing. She made sure I was well taken care of, and even though they were busy, she never made me feel like she was rushing off somewhere else. As for the food, well, I sort of spilled the beans above. Now, they have a meal that comes in a hubcap (yes, a hubcap), but there was no way I was going to be able to get through a one pound burger with sides. So, it was "only" a regular half pounder with fries. Again, they were busy, but my food was out in no time at all, and obviously fresh (not frozen). The burger was expertly seasoned and moist. Not grease dripping all over the place moist...good burger moist. As good as the burger was, the fries matched. Lightly salted and a nice crispy outside and soft inside. In fact, they were still very hot by the time I got to the end! If you are here, don't skip this place. You will not be sorry.“
“Nice and quiet, not too large of a space but huge on personality. The menu isn't huge but it's adequate and there's a bit of something for every pallette and diet. Their prices are average and adequate for the area.I had one of the best burgers (The Copper Burger) that I've had in a long time, cooked perfectly. The fries were just the right amount of crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The sweet tea could use more sugar, but I'm a Texan so it was acceptable. The bread pudding is amazing, sorry I ate it before I thought about taking a picture. You definitely have to have it when you eat here, and you should definitely eat here. Our server, Madison was polite, upbeat, and on point. The epitome of the perfect server. Ask for her when you go.Parking: There is parking in the structure directly above the restaurant.“
“01/02/2024. Don't know why Google states this location is closed, because it is open for business. I patronized David's Burgers before, and love their no-frills, menu. I went today for lunch, and the cheeseburger combo I ordered was delicious. Let me say, I've had Five Guys and their burgers are highly overrated and overpriced. David's Burgers is much more reasonably priced - and the taste is wonderful. Fresh is the best adjective I can use to describe their food. The fries that went with my order came late because they were cooking a fresh batch. I didn't mind, because the young lady serving my food was so personable and she explained the delay. She give me my hamburger, which I happily munch on while waiting for my fries. They were worth the wait! Fresh, hot, hand-cut fries seasoned perfectly. Again, their fries run circles around Five Guys. If you are looking for delicious fresh, unpretentious hamburgers and grilled chicken sandwiches offered at a reasonable price, served by courteous and attentive staff, look no further than David's Burgers on Pres. Clinton Ave.“
“Whenever my wife and I travel through Little Rock we stay at The Burgundy and dine at Table 28. The food and service is normally exceptional, except for our most recent visit. Our waiter, Andy, was superb and friendly. However, we were both disappointed with our dinner. We arrived on Friday, September 15th, over two hours prior to closing. While waiting we requested their usual bread and hummus. Andy apologized saying they were out of hummus and offered us toastettes with oil and cracked pepper. When it arrived there were only 4, and Andy again apologized saying that was the last they had. As my wife began to order, Andy again apologized and said they were out of ALL salads! We ordered the Quail Lollies which were delicious. However, my Chicken Breast was overcooked and very dry. The restaurant was not very busy. Perhaps there had been a large event prior to our arrival. We were both disappointed with our dinner and the $158.00 we spent for it. But we’ll give Table 28 another chance on our next visit.“
“I must say this is my favorite restaurant in Little Rock. My husband and I go here at least once a week for lunch and have consistently had wonderful service for years. The reuben is my usual order and it is the best in town, without hesitation. The burgers are also top notch. The service is always prompt and friendly and the vibes of the restaurant itself are very comfortable. Cannot recommend this place enough.“
“This place is a hidden gem! I wanted something different for lunch than my usual go to places, so I googled lunch places near me, and thankfully this place showed up at the top of the list, and it was right by me near the airport. When arriving the smell alone will guide you to this amazing place, pretty cool walk up restaurant where you're greeted by a smile and more amazing smells. I went with the pulled pork sandwich with slaw and potato salad... I was going to take a pic, but I couldn't hold myself back from devouring it and not wanting to put it down. Well worth the price, and also worth a drive across the entire county if you're not near the airport, but thankfully I am, and I'll for sure be back!Parking: Gravel lot wrapping around the front and side. Plenty of parking and off a very low traffic road. Easy entry and exit.“
“Three of us were there for Brunch to celebrate an 80th birthday. Food was delicious! Variety of “breakfast” foods were available. Service was very good and paying was very easy. We are members of the Museum, so a nice discount was included on our checks!“
“Grabbed a quick snack here during the week. It was after lunch so it wasn't too crowded, too about 5 min for the sandwhich. It is a relatively small sandwhich though and doesn't come with anything else. For $7-8, good amount of turkey, buttery bread, lettuce. I also tried a small apple pie, it was ok but not a reason I'd go. All around, good sandwhich and I'll definitely go back to try something else when I'm around the area.“
“The food is always amazing. I call it clean food when even the unhealthy options look healthy. No grease running off or pooled at the bottom, that type of thing. I had the grilled shrimp and green beans. Their green beans are seasoned well and I love their roasted potatoes. Their chicken strips were more like chicken breast and were crunchy and delicious. I've been before and will return. The restaurant is very small with not much parking. But I love the outdoor seating area. They try to keep it warm in the winter and cool enough in the summer.“
“This was the first time to go to Bobby's but it won't be the last. It is a throwback to school cafeteria: grab a tray, utensils, drink and then try to decide what you want. It was very busy so I made my decision quickly of fried chickens legs, mashed potatoes/white gravy, fried okra and cornbread. OMG, way more than I could eat but oh so good. It's not a fancy place by no means but we were perfectly happy to sit at a table with plastic tablecloth. They have an assortment of pies but there was no way I could eat pie after my meal. The raspberry lemonade icebox pie seemed to be the favorite of the day. Definitely worth checking this place out!“
“Small indoor space (but more seating in outdoor patio area).Staff and customers very welcoming and friendly.Parking: More parking than tables available, unless weather permits back patio to be open (Huge back patio area).Parking on 3 sides with multiple depths on both sides of building.Looking forward to patio being full of interesting people, as soon as the weather breaks.Come Be a part of the excitement.“
“I loved my experience here. Great customer service. I had the bulldog. The quality of the hot dog was good. It was a little salty but with the toppings you couldn’t tell. I also like the snap on the hot dog. It wasn’t a soft hot dog. I enjoyed my hot dog and will definitely be back.“
“Stopped in for a quick bite after trick or treating with the kids. We had Harry Potter as our waiter. He was awesome, as Harey Potter should be. Very nice and helpful. Made great recommendations and provided speedy service. All the staff were great. Ordered pizA, burger, and salad, and all were excellent. I recommend you stop in for a bite.“
“Had a Birthday gift certificate from YaYa’s and treated myself to a wonderfully delicious meal. Hannah was my waitress and she was so sweet and attentive and gave me outstanding service. Hope she’s there the next time I come in. Thanks for a wonderful birthday dinner.“
“A wonderful lunch experience. The waitress, Montana, could not have been more pleasant, courteous and patient. I was unfamiliar with the menu and she gave me as much time as I needed to decide what I wanted. She checked on me twice, but NOT in a "rush, hurry up we need this table" kind of way. She did not hover over me, and when she brought the check, she reinterated " take your time, whenever YOU are ready. A great asset to your restraunt! I visit LR frequently on business and will definetly come back, and recommend you to my colleagues who are always looking for a pleasant place to do lunch in LR. The food was excellent, and was as described on the menu. Prices were reasonable. Nice job y'all!!“
“Years ago when I worked in Little Rock, Scallions Chicken Salad and Cheese Soup Special was my lunch time staple. I loved it. To this day, I can’t find anyone who makes chicken salad dressing as well as Scallions, and I’ve looked all over the world. This week on my visit to Little Rock and to satisfy my nostalgia, I stopped by for lunch again. The cheese soup and chicken salad dressing were marvelous as ever. Maybe my palate has changed with age, but the chicken was tougher than I like in chicken salad and the cream cheese in the finger sandwiches were a bit too salty, hence the four stars for food. In other reviews, I read that the alternative to finger sandwiches, poppy seed muffin, is very good so I just made the wrong choice. The atmosphere and service were also terrifically charming. I’d recommend anyone visiting Little Rock give Scallions a try.“
“Ordered a pastrami sandwich and a coffee. The sandwich was very good. The type of sandwich, if I lived nearby, would be a weekly treat. Coffee was fresh. Their bakery is in the back, and I couldn't resist getting a baguette. A little chewy and very soft on the inside, so good. Personally, I prefer my bread to be crispy with a little char. Don't get me wrong, I would still gladly grab another baguette from here. Nice little place. Very friendly and helpful staff. If I lived nearby, I would be a regular.“
“Good cajun shrimp and avocado salad. Good spicy on the shrimp but not that painful unpleasantly hot. Nice patio. Only tiny problem is it seems that asking for dressing in side means you buy an extra dressing vs just getting it on the side. Maybe I ordered incorrectly. Nice staff. The way they have fresh large wedges if lemon was really nice. I like lemon in my Diet Dr Pepper! The lemony salad dressing is very good.“
“This place is the best Mexican in town. They are fast attentive and the most bang for your buck. Delicious!!!!Parking: Parking lot is small but there are a couple businesses available at dinner time close by. They will let you park there.Kid-friendliness: Absolutely kid friendly. Some people have parties at the big tables.“
“This place was bomb. I had the farmhouse burger. It was absolutely on fire. Perfectly seasoned. Good fountain drinks strong. My boss turned me on to this place. I love it. I will be back over and over it closes at 2. Don't miss out and don't come late. They have a breakfast “
“A tasty joint with a few stand-out options - worth a try!TL:DRStickyz has a wide menu and they prepare them well! Delicious cheese dip and tender chicken at a reasonable price.Details:Stopped in during the Super Bowl to grab dinner, and I didn't regret it. They had the game on multiple screens, but they weren't very busy, which I was worried was a bad sign.Ordered the cheese dip, some jerk flavored strips, and parmesan garlic tots. The cheese dip was delicious, thick and rich flavored. The chicken was a bit sparse (strips were on the small side) but good flavor, and they did not skimp on the sauce! They ended up being out of tots, so they made it with fries instead. Instead of just sprinkling them with garlic and parmesan like most places do, they smother them with a thick garlic parmesan mixture that was amazing! It was VERY greasy, so be aware, but it tasted incredible.Decor is nice, seating is comfortable, and the service was good, although again, it wasn't very busy so I don't have that view of it.Overall, I would recommend a trip!“
“Consistently Excellent Menu offerings (plus monthly specials) and Service at this local restaurant. In business for many years, Trio’s has made a Triumphant Return after a horrible March tornado wrecked the restaurant. We’ve been pleased at every visit. Have tried monthly specials, regular menu choices, lunch and dinner here - it never disappoints. Latest dining was with a group celebrating a birthday in the private party room. A great atmosphere, clean and inviting, with private restrooms. Service was great, food was outstanding. The scallop entree from the new January menu - mouthwatering scallops cooked just right, creamy risotto; the tenderloin medallions - perfect. Desserts?! Wow! Doesn’t matter what you choose - all delicious!“
“My mom and I had take-out on Monday and dined in on Wednesday. I enjoyed my meal better on Mon. However, mom's definitely enjoyed her steak on Wednesday. The only issue was that I asked for my desert to not have coconuts on it, but as you can see, they drizzled them all over the carrot cake. When we went back on Wednesday, they offered a free cake with no coconuts.Dietary restrictions: No bacon on my baked potato soup“
“We visited on a whim while at the Clinton Library. It's a small restaurant on the lower level of the library. The food and service were excellent. Prices also reasonable. The bar features lots of locally made beers and spirits. Totally worth visiting!“
