“Great place to stay. We were in one of the 3BR cabins and it was very nice. Had everything we needed to make a long weekend stay convenient. The ladies in the office are super nice and will do absolutely anything to help you have a great stay. You can tell they love working there and keeping everything running as smoothly as possible. Only about 45min from Wegner Crystal mine and 30min from Hot Springs which has plenty of stores and restaurants to choose from.”

“Comfortable and welcoming! Delicious country perfect fried chicken and sides. Only disappointment was they were out of pie but the blackberry cobbler was spectacular. Super nice staff. Can’t wait to go back!Vegetarian options: Southern flavor reminds me of mother’s great country cooked vegetables.Parking: No problem. Ample free parking.Kid-friendliness: Easy family atmosphere.”

“This was my second time to come to this lovely neighborhood bar. Parking lot is well lit and clean. Located in the same shopping center with a lil ol taco shop and a liquor store ( which happens to be my favorite and only liquor store we go to) . Two feet away is a wonderfully clean gas station.4 of us walked in 17 minutes to close and we were greeted with genuine warmth. Not that "eye rolling why did they just walk in" look. I was a sever for many years, so I understand. Same bar keep that I had b4, can't remember her name but she recognized me from my first time and that made me feel good, bc it was months and months ago.”

“This place is a hidden gem! I’m in love with their breakfast, the fresh made salads & thin crust pizza, with some Alfredo sauce! The service is like going home to grandmas house! Hospitable & so so sweet! The view of the lakes so peaceful & the outside deck is my happy place for a morning cup of coffee. The inside is so beautiful & the fireplace is one of my favorites! Love, love, love this place!! Thank you Wendy for always making me feel at home!”

“I had their house specialy on the Hickory smoked steak. My friend and I ordered a pair (medium well). Her steak was right. However, mine was served burned (charred) on half of it. The parts salvaged tasted ok and "well done". No pink. So at least half of it was done where it was most important to deliver. But I wasn't so happy with mine. I don't normally have issues there. It is on the pricier side, so i was suprised it got sent out. I might give them another try. It is popular localy.”

“Food was great got the all meat plate with baked beans and Mac n cheese. The mac n cheese was awesome and baked beans were good too, sausage was meh and the other meats were good too but the brisket was great even went back for more after I got off work but they were sold out. Great friendly people. I did have to wait in my truck a little but for my food but they brought it out to me. As of right now they are only open 2 days the owner was talking about adding a day. It's worth the stop.”

“To me, the place felt welcoming, the bathroom was clean (women's anyway). The typical bar food is good. The staff is awesome & Saturdays there is usually live music of different styles & genres.”

“Its hard to find a place that doesn't use a bunch of pre-processed ingredient. I prefered my fries lite in the seasoning. The burger though, lets talk about that!!! The Burger was perfect. Cooked medium(Just how i prefer), Fresh veg, Buns toasted and to top it all off I only paid $8 PER PERSON!!! This was a great choice for lunch and dinner. returned the same night and grabbed burgers for the family for dinner. For some it may seem a little out of the way. To those I say try. Its way better than the chain restaurant and fast food joints that leave you feeling like garbage an hour after you eat.”

“Slow and I had to repeat myself countless times, if you can't remember why ask in advance? Also I tipped 20 precent and then he complained that he didn't charge for the guacamole... I told him to take it out if his tip of he's that worried.”

“Small, local spot. All of our food was great! Shrimp dinner, cheese burger at veggie, Cajun fries, fried okra, cole slaw. All fresh and tasty. Service fast and friendly. Quite a collection of license plates and flags. Decent prices.”

“Went to Mug Shots for a quick coffee on our trip to Hot Springs. Chris greeted us with a warm welcome and a delicious coffee! I got the latte with honey, sooo good!!!”

“Love to bring my family here. This is the only place near me to get a proper margarita. The food is delicious, and the service has always been very good. The price is on par considering everything going on in the world today. With an adult beverage, you're looking at about $35 per person. Highly recommend stopping by if you're hungry or just want a drink.”

“I like the donuts and kolachies..but they are so slow. It's not a place you'll just run by. You have to have 10-15 minutes to sit in the drive thru and that's after they've taken ur order. Speed it up ladies!!!”

The crawfish tails, homemade fries, gumbo and boiled crawfish//shrimp…large portions and all absolutely DELICIOUS! The entire experience exceeded our expectations and we will be back.”

“Super sweet bartender! Nice atmosphere. The pizza is awesome, but it took almost an hour to get it, as it doesn’t take long for the kitchen to get backed up.Overall, look forward to visiting again. Will definitely have another pizza! ?”

“This is a small, family run business. I feel good about spending my money here. The food was great. We had the beef pot roast, chicken tetrazinni, and chicken and dumplings. We also had the garlic bread and green beans. All of it was great. I would say the chicken and dumplings and the beef pot roast were better in my opinion than the tetrazinni.The banana pudding is pretty good and the ding ding cake is phenomenal.We stopped here on the first night of our trip and bought dinners for the 3 nights we were in town. It was great and so much less expensive than eatting out every night. I wish they were local to me! I would be back for sure. Even my picky 3 year old approved.”

We had our dog with us and she gave her some sausage - so our dog says she deserves 5 stars ✨ for sure !!We had chicken and dumpling soup, broccoli cheese soup, and the jalapeño grilled cheese with the cranberry slaw. The food was fresh and hot. I really enjoyed the slaw, too. Melly let us try her rocky road pie, it was really delicious, also.”
