“The great and the ugly.The service was great, prices are awesome and we had to take food to go because they give so much.We tried a lot of the menu, best fried pickles ever, best okra, really great potatoes, Mac and cheese, coleslaw. The meats were good, brisket pulled pork, pork belly, sausage.I highly recommend this place with a warning.Maybe this was a bad batch but I swear the pulled chicken we got came out of a can. It was something we didn't even eat or take home because it was just bad.So don't get the chicken and you'll love it.”

You have to ask they are not on the menu but the owner has a plant based replacement for almost every menu itemKid-friendliness: Waitresses are great with the kids. Bring them coloring pages and the waitresses also supply a treasure chest with toys candy games and more for the kids to choose from.”

“We were pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a restaurant. We were met with the friendliest staff and a wonderful man playing multiple instruments and singing gospel and Christmas songs. The food could have been cooked by my own mom in her kitchen at home. We loved our meal and the atmosphere. This will be a must stop anytime we're in the Van Buren area again.”

“I needed a small repass meal for about 5-6 people, & we chose the bowl of red beans topped with sausage and rice w/ a half pan of bourbon street chicken pasta. We LOVED IT ! they were timely, friendly, clean and gave their condolences while still maintaining their professionalism. We will be ordering from them again.”

“The food was delicious. Wish they had Diet cola instead of cola Zero. Lindy provided outstanding service. Give her a raise. The baked beans were the best I have ever had. The potato salad tasted deliciously home-made. Portions were very generous. This is a veteran owned business but they don't offer individual discounts but provide service to veterans on a community basis.Parking: Easy to find parking within 4 spaces of restaurant.”

“This establishment is situated in a favorable location in Van Buren, adjacent to the local Walmart. While the staff may exhibit some unrefined behavior during nighttime hours, the quality of the food is exceptional and the ambiance of the venue is pleasant.”

“I see this place quite a bit since I drive by it everyday. But I never tried it. I'm not sure why, I'm a fan of Asian food, anyway the food is great! The people really take care of you, great customer service! The atmosphere was very welcoming. Definitely coming back”

“We were driving back from a spring break excursion and happened upon this restaurant. Our fellow family traveller said it was good and we liked it! We grabbed a variety of sandwiches and also tried the onion rings and chili cheese fries. We enjoyed all of them. I had to read up and there is one in Wylie, TX so not terribly far from home. We will definitely have to go back for more as I didn't get to try the chili cheese hotdog which looked really yummy too.”

“Absolutely love this place! It's my go-to with friends and family, I'm never disappointed with the food and the staff are super patient and kind here! It's definitely one of those hidden gems in Van Buren but I'd definitely choose this place 10x over other places here. The atmosphere could use a little more work for comfort, but nevertheless I'd recommend!Vegetarian options: They're very flexible with changing items for your needs!”
