Beyond depressed over the chicken fried steak. I remember it being the size of the skillet. We drove 3 hours so I could have where I got my love for chicken fried steak. Almost $14 for this? I swear they bought the box of already done chicken fried steak from Costco and put it the microwave then threw it on the skillet. 2 stars because the waitress was an absolute sweetheart. It's the iron skillet, if you've been to one you've been to them all. I'm giving this a 5 star because the people who serve and cook the food hands down are some of the best I've ran into! Give them a try they'll make you feel at home!
Home to Trucker Fairy Tales and mediocre Iron Skillet meals. Anything you get on the menu, just picture a less attractive version of the entree and that's exactly what you'll get. The West Memphis Iron Skillet definitely does not surprise as long as you walk in knowing that whatever you order is going to be far from great. Most of the kitchen staff are Certified Felons and only here will the waitress be walking around casually with Crocs and no socks on.Gotta love West Memphis...read full review
