We recently moved from south Texas to NWArkansas. and love our Texas Barbecue. We have been searching for good barbecue for the year we have been here. Today we found the jack pot in the little town of Yellvile. Black Sheep Barbecue & Grill has the absolute best barbecue, mac-in-cheese and banana pudding we have found. Prices were fair and service was outstanding. Definitely a must visit while in the area or worth the drive as we did on our motorcycles from Jasper.
This is truly a gem of the mountains. With an atmosphere that'll keep ya coming back for more. BBQ so good you should take advantage of the pint price on sauce and if you're a pickle lover grab you some homemade pickles. Worth the drive every time.

Excellent BBQ! I love the good smoked flavor and the meat is always tender. They have a great variety of dishes and fries lol. What is up with some of these BBQ places not serving fries?! I love the rustic/antique vibe, which adds to the dining. On a nice day, they have a dining area on the front porch. The service is always wonderful.
