I had Katsu on my list for a few months and finally had a chance to try it. When we arrived, I was surprised because I had no idea it was located within or attached to an Asian grocery store along with other restaurants. I don't usually dine at these restaurants because it reminds me of mall food. I thought about leaving, but decided to give it a try. Protip: Tonkatsu is just ok, but the other menu items look really inticing Highlights: I enjoyed the sides though especially the radish that was a little spicy. I'm definitely interested in ordering from here again, but I'll likely try something else like the omurice. Lowlights: I've eaten a lot of tonkatsu, so I thought this one was just ok.

Oh my yum - the Kim Chi Pasta is so creamy and tasty, and unlike anything I've eaten in our Korean restaurants back home. It reminds me of pasta dishes I ate at yōshoku (洋食) restaurants in Japan. I was also surprised to see that they had Mentaiko pasta on the menus posted here on Yelp, but didn't see that offered when we visited in late June. That's not a typical offering in the US, but a very common pasta when I was in Asia.
