“I am currently writing this review from their patio - my husband and I have been here a few times now and everything we have tried has been absolutely delicious. The service is excellent- everyone who works here is extremely friendly and kind. I’ve lived in AZ my entire life and the food excels over many other places in the area. This has quickly become one of our favorites.“
“Marc ran my order. Just an egg, cheese, and potatoe burrito. I met Hugo and Omar preparing the food. They were delightful and extremely professional. It's easy to get lazy with food and service, but these guys make the place feel like home.“
“Ate here on a Sunday morning. The staff was super friendly and made sure we were happy with our food. The food was super fresh and some of the best chicken around. The carne asada burrito was huge and so good. We got the whole chicken special as well with sides. The whole pintos were fabulous!! Would recommend and will be returning. Great food and great service!“
“Loved this location. I normally have better experiences with bigger locations but this experience beat my last by far. I previously visited the bugger location on stapely and the service comparison was night and day. This location is quaint and friendly. The food was amazing!!! Best tostada I've ever had! I went back twice in one day it was so good I had the al pastor and it was amazing. Will definitely be a repeat customer to this location.“
“We had the BEST experience eating at Mangos tonight! Pam (the owner) was so hospitable! We felt more like we were eating with an old friend instead of a restaurant. I can’t say enough good things about the service and atmosphere. And the food was SO good! Very family friendly! Probably the best family meal out I’ve had in years.“
“I’ve been going to Blue Adobe for more than 15++ years when a boss took me there for lunch. It is as delicious now as it was then. The food is consistent and tasty. Great New Mexican cuisine. You can’t go wrong, I’ve never had a bad dish here. I recommend the Stacked Enchiladas “Christmas Style” with a fried egg or Yesterday’s Meatloaf. You’ll leave feeling full. It’s the “stick to your ribs” kind of food.“
“This is the best taco shop ever! Fast service, friendly staff, great food and genuine hospitality. I had the hard tacos, with beef -- best hard tacos I've ever had! They also have very nice looking pescado/fish soup, tilapia, which shows up on the special menu (not sure if it's every day, or not). Picture of menu, attached. Thanks guys!“
“My recent visit to ZONA Cantina Cocina was a mixed bag of experiences, with some highlights and a few areas for improvement. The food, for the most part, was excellent, and even the leftovers proved to be a delightful surprise the next day. However, when it came to the bar and drinks, I found them to be lacking. Despite dropping hints to the bartender, it seemed that our concerns went over her head, resulting in a less-than-satisfactory drink experience. Unfortunately, our server was also oblivious to our hints, leaving us feeling a bit neglected.Thankfully, the situation was salvaged by someone who carried themselves like the manager. They took notice of our dissatisfaction and promptly made it right by waiving some of the charges from our bill. Their attentiveness and willingness to rectify the situation were greatly appreciated and turned what could have been a disappointing experience into a more positive one.Overall, while there were some hiccups along the way, the outstanding food and the responsive actions of the management team leave me willing to give ZONA Cantina Cocina another chance in the future. With a bit more attention to the bar and drink service, they have the potential to provide a truly stellar dining experience.“
“Amazing Tacos and Mexican food. This is my favorite spot to get Carne Asada Quesadillas. Jarritos are always stocked up and every times I've been here it's always tasted amazing. Their Salsa is actually really spicy too I love it.“

“Well I went here for your friend's remembrance party / get together. Well I went here for a friend's remembrance party / get together. The atmosphere is the only thing I do not give a five-star rating on because I believe the walls could have been I don't know maybe painted with a mural or something. It just felt like there was something missing besides my friend. But thank you all your service was excellent in your food was above that.“
“Sol Azteca was a fantastic experience. I needed a quick lunch, and decided to try it out. The service was great as the woman at the cash register recommended the asada burrito which was terrific. Overall the place had a great atmosphere and very nice and quick service.“
“Just tried this new restaurant for the first time. The service was great, friendly and fast. The pricing is great. We got a good amount of food for under $20, that's hard to find nowadays. They even made custom machaca taco for us that wasn't on the menu. We are mexican food snobs! We eat a lot of Mexican food, cook a lot of Mexican food and we know quality food. This place passed the test. The salsa was flavorful (careful the habenaro is hot!) The enchilada red sauce was different, good but different. The beans are made from scratch, not out of a can! The beans are delicious. My favorite was the potato tacos. Crispy shell, creamy potatoes with crispy edges. The jalapeno sauce was delightful on the tacos. This is not high-end fancy Mexican food, this is family owned mom/pop shop that is doing it right. Also a bonus is they are open later than most places around. We will be back!“
“This was a cool place. I liked the vibe and location. The food was just so so, we got a bunch of tacos and they just weren't that flavorful. For food 3/5. However, the margs 5/5. The guava one had to be one of the best margaritas I've had! We will be back, we will skip the food but come for a few good drinks“
“My spouse & I love this place. The breakfast burrito is the best. Get the large one, it's enough to feed 2 people & you're spending less than $20 on a meal for 2.My only complaint is the tables. They seem very low. But other than that, the food is delicious!! ?“
“First time here tried the sopes. Omg ? ? so delicious. I am glad to have an authentic mexican place near by. I look forward to trying more of their menu. The evening girl who had taken my order is respectful and kind. She definitely knows the menu and gave me a good detail of each item.“
“We showed up unannounced with 21 people. They handled the whole group without batting an eye and provided better service than most places give for a small group. The food was out quick and all of it came out at the same time! The food was amazing as well! Phenomenal job!“
“This hole in the rock establishment has been around for many years. They make home cooked style Mexican food that's been their signature trait! Service is great! Whenever we're in that area, that's our go to spot. We're satisfied with the service from their attentive & welcoming waiter Abraham who has always made sure we got everything we need, The attentive and great attitude Is always a plus! My favorite is their Chiléquilas steak & eggs! This is your best bang for the buck!“
“Great taqueria. Stop in and show 'em some love. Pastor, carne asada, shrimp, fish, cochinita pibil, cabeza (I would call it barbacoa) , birria tacos and bowls. Great fixins bar. Mexican Coke! Friendly, hard-working owner operators. A little off the beaten path, but worth the trip.“
“I was had a craving for Pozole, I did a search and La Casa del Guajolote among other restaurants. But this restaurant had a 4.6 rating, so I chose to come here! Well now I know why it has such a great rating! There food was EXCELLENT! I was greeted immediately by Ramon. I believe he was the owner. Ramon was very helpful! He had great recommendations and explained what items that were on the menu that maybe as common in other places. We had the pozole and the Torta Guajolote asada! Both entrees were rich in flavor and tasted as if your nana made them! Also the salsas were very flavorful, not too spicy. I will be returning very soon and bringing my family!“
“Food was great!! Green chilli shredded beef burrito!! Side of beans and a jalapeno scorched up on the flat top! Perfection. Even threw in a couple extra jalapenos .. Very good . Will definitely be back. One of the cooks even came out once it slowed up a bit and asked how everything was tasting. Very good customer service. Looking forward to returning.“
“Me and my girlfriend have came here a couple of times and the food is always good. Both waiters we have gotten are attentive and have a friendly attitude. The spiked horchata is amazing. Favorites so far are the mole enchiladas and Chile relleno with Chile verde. Will be back to try the carne en su jugo!“
“The PB&J brisket sandwich is the best sandwich I've ever had. Brisket was perfect and even had a bacon crispness to it. The peanut butter, jelly and even the bun was all top notch. My wife and I will be back to explore the menu more!“
“Amazing tacos. I've had the chicken tacos, the Carne Asada tacos, the Al Pastor tacos. The service is super friendly, and the ambience is fun and clean with music and TVs. This morning I got a chorizo breakfast burrito and it was huge and Amazing also. Very sweet and friendly staff.“
“I've been going here since November 2023 which i believe is close to when they opened. The food is absolutely fantastic, way above the drive thru taco store offerings. There must be close to 100 items on the menu. I've certainly not had all, but I will share what I've had.First, the breakfast burritos, I get these at least once per week. You order then all day but from 6am to 11am they are only $5. Compartively their about 2/3 the size of a corporate brand noted for its guac. I'm a fan of the bacon, potato and egg burrito which is enough for breakfast and a quick snack later. On the unique side is the Barria Ramen. A spicy dish of barria meat and juice with ramen noddles. Very tasty fusion.Beef tacos. THE GOLD STANDARD TACO for me now. These are the tacos I should have been served when I sat down at 'upscale' Mexican resturants. Whenever I Ran To The Border these are the taco's I Yo Quiero'd.I have had several other items which tick all the muy bueno boxes. The one disappointment, in a fair and honest reivew, I wasn't a fan of the taco pizza. I love taco pizza and all the months that are not May, and I can't get a take and bake taco grande, The Bell has to do. So I was prepared for a hard shell tostado foundation. Their version, at the least the one I got, was essentially a wet quesadilla. But so what. I wasn't a fan of one item representing less than 10% of my total orders. I still have 80+ items I haven't tried. And maybe they read this and look at an area of opportunity. It's really hard to find good unique food in east Mesa that isn't some national chain. I really hope after reading this you give them a shot. its hard for local businesses to succeed and I really don't want this place to close. (I am not affliated with the place in any way. They just take my money)Parking: plenty there.Wheelchair accessibility: One floor, sidewalk ramp is convienent.“
“Excellent Mexican food. The lady taking my order was very friendly and helpful. The lady preparing my food was singing to the music that was playing. There are a few tables but they do a lot of take out. I think that smothered burritos are a specialty as there are many choices.“
“Our first time trying this place .super good i been in phoenix for more then 10 years and never tried a pozole this delicious the flavor is amazing .there chilaquiles are good as well. Definitely 1000% recommend.there customer service is amazing as well .“
“Down & dirty Mexican joint in Mesa, AZ. I’m in that area several times a month so it’s convenient. Good Mexican food where meat is king… serve Mexican Hot Dogs too. Today I had 1-Carne Asada & 1-Pastor Street Tacos, and a Caramelo Quesadilla… corn tortilla, cheese, & Cabeza. Good salsa bar… red & green salsas… love the guacamole salsa! Good place… I’ll keep going back for more!“
“If you are looking for delicious from scratch Mexican food, excellent service and a clean friendly place, this is it. The green chile verde burrito and the enchiladas are my favorites. The refried beans are creamy and everything is amazing. Hands down this is my favorite Mexican restaurant.“
“Luv these Guys, an example of happened yesterday. Wanted a side of Rice but they were out, it was cooking said the Hostess, told her forget it then, just our Super Nachos and the Fantastic Taquitos they make, when the wife got our order, there was a side of rice on the house. They treat their customers like a huge family.“
“We ordered the quesabirrias, tripa tacos, carne asada tacos, al pastor quesadilla, churros, and all 3 of the aguas frescas. They were delicious!! Also the salsas were all so good!! The customer service was 10/10 which is a little rare these days lol We will definitely be back!“
“I’m only half way through my quesadilla right now and had to stop to write this review, I never tried Birria tacos before and saw this restaurant was highly rated so decided to give it a shot. Let me just tell you that this was so flavorful! It was absolutely delicious! The cashier was a super sweet woman who gave me a free taco to try and I will definitely be going back! My taste buds are on cloud nine, the portion sizes are pretty big for the price you pay, all around a very happy camper“
“Delicious chicken burrito came w rice beans and a drink, $13.99, we thought it was a good deal, very filling. Brother got 2 tacos beans and rice plus a drink he really liked it. We each got a dish of tortilla chips and theyhad 10 salsas to choose from. Would go back again.“
“Visitors to Arizona from up North, my half-Mexican daughter was looking for food like Abuela's. We found it at Huauchinango's. This restaurant is perfect if you want actual traditional Mexican food. It has the best Tacos al Pastor! My favourite! If you are looking for Americanized Mexican Food, this is not the restaurant for you. This is the real deal and should be appreciated by connoisseurs of actual, authentic Mexican food.“
“We were in Mesa for a basketball tourney. Asked our hotel desk for Mexican food recommendations, which he replied “not around here.” We took out to see what we could find. We were staying at the Delta by Marriott. Not even 4 blocks away we spotted your place. Absolutely the best food we had in Mesa!! Take out everyday!! Wonderful food!!!!!“
“Super Oscar’s opened a block away from me, and that may be the best thing to happen to me since the late 2000s?I mean heavy when it comes to Carne Asada and Oscar does not disappoint. They do not mess around when it comes to consistency which is very difficult to find in this area. Also a lot of places around here have lost their damn minds when it comes to pricing and Oscar’s is very reasonable.“
“This amazing restruant we found in a little strip mall was a gold mine. The beef, sweet corn tamales, chilli rellenos, beans and rice were "to die for". Not to mention their amazing salsa and margaritas. I've eaten at many many mexican restaurants and this little jewel beats them all. 10/19/2020“
“They were packed at 745 Saturday night and we had about a 10 minute wait for our table, which was less than the time quoted. We immediately received chips and salsa, our waiter came quickly to bring drinks and take our order. Food took a little longer than expected but was all delicious. I'm disappointed to see the sweet pork dish is no longer on the menu as that was my favorite. I always order the sautéd veggies as my side, they are so fresh and delicious. The service was fantastic and they were attentive to chip and drink refills. The food is different from other Mexican restaurants and I appreciate that the food feels fresher and not greasy. Beautifully decorated in a south west theme. was really noisy when we first arrived but as it got a little less busy, it was a more relaxed feel and could hear the music.“
“I work in the area and never noticed this Pollo place existed until I started doing a Google search for places to eat around here and read its high-ranking star reviews, and decided to come in and try it out.We ended up ordering the Pollo Combo, and I didn't disappoint. The flavor of The Pollo brought me back to some places where they sell it in Mexico. I would definitely keep coming back.I sometimes work in this area and I had never noticed that this place existed until I started doing a Google search for places to eat in this area and I noticed that the place has a high number of good comments and I told myself, well, we have to Stop and see what all the good things they say about the place are about.I ended up ordering the Pollo special and as expected, as soon as I tried it I thought I was eating El Pollo as they sell it in many places in Mexico. I will definitely continue returning to this place for El Pollo.“
“Tried this place for the first time,I had the Chipotle Roll-let's just say it was hitting the spot ?No regrets here- Definitely will be back!*** I would recommend calling ahead to place your order. Currently, it's only take out.***Kid-friendliness: Great service and very friendly!“
“Really enjoyed this place! Have wanted to try it for years as I came in and out of my gym which is next door and smelt the taco aroma when I passed by. Finally did give it a go and was not disappointed. The margarita was good and strong and the tacos were amazing, especially the fish taco, that was my fave! Can't wait to go back!“
“My friend and I had a wonderful experience at Parrilla last night. A cozy restaurant with beautiful art. The staff were very friendly with genuine smiles. Almost immediately we received warm, fresh chips and salsa. The food and drinks came quickly as well, and the margaritas were huge! We had delicious enchiladas suiza and a pork chimichanga. We will definintely return!“
“My son first went here with a friend and he came home and said I had to go and try it because it was so good and we did and we have been back many times since then. Very clean place, you can go for a treat or to have a meal, we love their Sonoran hot dogs, slushy drinks, corn in a cup, etc., everything we've tried is so good! Plenty of parking, plenty of seating.“
“Dec 2023We enjoy Someburros. We come here every 6 weeks or so. Food's good. Have never had anything bad. I like the pollo fondido. That's probably because I like jalapeno cream cheese. Even if it didn't have it it would probably still be pretty tasty. Tacos are good. They used to have a miny chimi platter but I haven't seen that in a while. I miss that.We will definitely go back.“
“I'm so mad that I've lived across the street from this place for at least a year and never tried it!!! The birria taco was melt in your mouth good and the carne asada was my favorite, though my usual go to is chicken. And thats not to say the chicken is a slouch either, the grill on that meat is delightful!!! Absolutely going to try to make this place a staple in my life, cause I'm sure I've only scratched the surface. :) thanks you guys for amazing service, and wonderful food!!“
“The food was good. The carnitas torta with rice and beans was enough food to feed two. My daughter had the bean and cheese burrito with rice & beans too. The tortilla tasted homemade. The prices were a bit much but I'd definitely recommend it and we will be back to try the menudo. The service was good too“
“No one is like Suegras, top quality customer service, food, experience and personal connection with the staff. I could not ask for more, I highly recommend for any occasion, up a wedding reception or more, absolutely excellent. And not disappointing, please share the same experience I had and be pleased beyond your expectations. You can not go wrong.“

“I've passed this place hundreds of times not knowing what it was I looked it up and found it's a seafood market that serves ceviche and other fresh seafood items. I bought some of the ceviche and it was some of the best I've ever had definitely going back to try other items on the “
“This place is amazing! We are from out of town and were looking for some quality tacos. This place does not disappoint! The service we received was second to none. So kind and thoughtful. We ordered 2 taco platters and they were AMAZING! We had no problem polishing off 33 tacos. The flavor and texture were phenomenal. The salsas have great flavor and the chips were freshly fried. We will definitely be stopping by again before heading out of town, and you should too! Thanks Los Tacos Chefs!“
