“Sol Azteca was a fantastic experience. I needed a quick lunch, and decided to try it out. The service was great as the woman at the cash register recommended the asada burrito which was terrific. Overall the place had a great atmosphere and very nice and quick service.“
“We went for New Years to try it out for the first time. We had a party of 10 that included 3 young kids. Not only were they accommodating but they had our tables set up prior to arriving. That was a plus already. The staff was amazing and very helpful/friendly. While we got to enjoy our family time along with great amazing eats from their menu. So blessed to have amazing, friendly staff to ring in the new year with. They were awesome and the food was great. The establishment was so clean and even had sinks outside the restrooms in case you just needed to clean up. Definitely recommended!!! Also had so many TV’s with so many football games on lol. Great views of the tv’s no matter where you sat.“
“I'm a trucker and accidentally stumbled on this place. The food is Gordon Ramsay level, the service was first class and the atmosphere was enchanting. I'd recommend this place to any locals and any hungry travelers. Music was a huge bonus!“
“Have you ever eaten Nacho's only to get down to the bottom and you only have chips left! Not here they layer the Chicken Nachos and we actually had chicken left when we were done. Go during Happy Hour only $9.00 a meal in themselves. Pair it with one of there beers and you've got dinner! Great food no matter what you order.“
“Food was really good and fresh tasting! The house flavor seasoning is always consistent and has a nice kick. I think I overheard Lena, our server, state that she was new and she was SUCH a doll! I overheard her take accountability on a misunderstanding with the bill of another guest and it was so refreshing to hear; you don’t hear that type of accountability as often! Had a great dinner with my sister“
“We went for lunch and it was very busy at the time but we were seated very quickly. The hush puppies I cannot get enough of, they are amazing.I had one of the sampler platters with the shrimp, cat fish, hush puppies and another item I can't remember the name of. It has rice and crayfish I believe. Anyhow, that one was not hot, it was still cool and the rice was hard.Aside from that the food and drinks were good.“
“Wonderful place to go for lunch, dinner, anytime food. Quick, easy, and if you go there enough the owners recognize you and mostly already know what you what( that is rare now a days).Wheelchair accessibility: They have parking spots and also places to sit inside business“
“I've been visiting family in Arizona for a few years now and every time we go to Baci's. I've never had better Italian dishes anywhere in my life. It's fresh, full of flavor and served in generous portions (which makes for great leftovers the next day). For the best Italian food west of Chicago I highly recommend Baci's.“
“My 11 year old son and I stopped in for some sushi tonight and I must say. I've never been so mistreated by a place of business in my entire life. Food was just ok. Nothing special. I ordered 10 piece sashimi, 2 rolls, stuffed jalapeños, miso soup and a sculpin ipa. The girl didn't know what sculpin was and asked for me to point it out on the menu so I did. Our food started coming out and 4 of the 5 items were already on the table and my son and I were starting to get full. The waitress hadn't brought my beer yet and I stopped her and reminded her I hadn't gotten the beer I ordered and I no longer wanted it since we were already pretty far along into our dinner. After I mention this she quickly hurrys to the bar and brings the beer apologizing for the delay. I tell her like I said I no longer wanted it so she took it away. Later when she brings the check the beer that I didn't receive and said I no longer wanted was still on the check. I asked her to please remove it. The owner comes over and in an agitated and aggressive manner asks if there is a problem wirh the bill. I told him yes the beer needed to be removed. He says no he will not remove it since it was already poured. He walks over to bar and brings it back and says here is your beer you need to pay for it. I explained to him how I received it after I had gotten most of my food and no longer wanted it but he refused. He was beyond rude and unreasonable. Most restaurants would take back a beer even if you take a drink and don't like it, I didn't get my beer until I was done with 50% of my food and didn't want it anymore! I mentioned something about his poor customer service and how it's no surprise the place is empty with no customers. The guy gets really heated and demands j pay for the drink. I got up and told my son let's go and the owner begins to assault me pushing me in the shoulder to back me up. 3 of his staff and my son witnessed this. He then stood in front of the doors and would not let us exit until I signed the credit card slip. I went back to the table and signed it "F You" and he let us out but after he read the signature the owner ran outside the store threatening me and getting into my face while calling the cops. His staff even thought he was crazy and were begging me to sign it and they offered to reimburse me $5 cash for the beer. They said their boss was having a bad day. The staff even agreed that the beer came out late which should not have been problem to have it removed. I ended up scribbling something on another copy of the credit card receipt and he finally allowed us to walk away without harassing us. My son was so scared he was calling 911 himself because of how the owner was assaulting me and up in my face. All this mistreatment over a $5 draft beer. I will never step foot in this place again and I should press charges against the owner for putting his hands on me and assaulting me. He even mentioned he has it all on camera so he can validate himself everything that took place. I read over other reviews for this place and it seems this owner likes to argue and fight rather than take accountability for his and his staffs actions. It's unacceptable for anyone to EVER be treated this way, EVER.“
“This place is hands down the best seafood restaurant around !! Great prices , staff, and our server Trisha is superior ❤️ been to many places around the valley for seafood and this place tops the list !! A must try and you will thank me !“
“Considering I live in Phoenix. This is a very good sea food place. I had some grilled Mahi that was fabulous. I am looking forward to my next visit. Lack of service, which is part of the design. Keyosk instead of order takers. Also concrete and steel made for a loud place.Still highly recommended.“
“Note: This restaurant does not offer 'dine-in.' However, for convenience, they have both a drive-thru and walk-up window. The food was great, as well as super fresh! Service was super provided, as they took our order, and handed us our food at the other window, (I didn't mind this, I quite preferred the quick definition of FAST-FOOD).I should mention, this is a nice joint to have here in AZ considering we live nowhere near an ocean, but it makes me wonder where they import there ingredients. ? ?“
“Really enjoyed this place! Have wanted to try it for years as I came in and out of my gym which is next door and smelt the taco aroma when I passed by. Finally did give it a go and was not disappointed. The margarita was good and strong and the tacos were amazing, especially the fish taco, that was my fave! Can't wait to go back!“
“I've passed this place hundreds of times not knowing what it was I looked it up and found it's a seafood market that serves ceviche and other fresh seafood items. I bought some of the ceviche and it was some of the best I've ever had definitely going back to try other items on the “
“It had been a while since we had eaten here food was good but SAM our server was incredible. It has been so long since I have had any kind of happy and joyful service, she really seemed to care about us, she was very thoughtful, and was a creative problem solver. We would go back just to be in her presents again. Thank you Sam so much keep up the amazing work, you rock. Give this woman a raise“
“Always consistently good. Great servers that always take great care of you and food is top notch. Their filets are excellent and they have great deals like their campfire feast dinner for 2. Nick and Suz are excellent friendly servers. They now also offer brunch on the weekends starting at 11AM and we gave it a try today. Food was very good! The manager on duty this morning was very friendly as well! Check it out!“
“The Chilaquiles Modern Kitchen is an absolute gem! Not only was the food here amazing, but the service and ambiance were also outstanding. Our dining experience was nothing short of spectacular. We indulged in the gigantic Chilaquiles Burrito, which was incredibly delicious and left us completely satisfied. The flavors were perfectly balanced, making every bite a delight. And let's talk about the pozole - simply incredible! Rich, flavorful, and packed with authentic Mexican taste, it was a true standout dish. Our waitress was equally awesome - attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. She truly enhanced our experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was perfect - modern and hip, creating a vibrant and inviting atmosphere. From the stylish decor to the energetic vibe, everything about this place exudes excellence. From the moment we walked in until the last bite, we were thoroughly impressed. Chilaquiles Modern Kitchen has definitely earned its spot as one of our favorite dining spots. Can't wait to come back for more! Highly recommended!“
“Enjoyed our dinner! I'm "new" to the tofu scene and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I'm always worried the tofu will be too soft for my liking. This was nice a crisp on the outside and medium texture on the inside. We also had the chicken dumplings. They were ok.“
“Parking was packed but found a spot, they were busy as usual but found a small table. Food was great, shrimp cocktail is the go to and service was good. Music seems a bit loud but we got used to it. Great place to eat seafood and I'll definitely be back soon.“
“Best mariscos in mesa! Everything is fresh, always the best customer service! We have been eating here for years and never disappoints! If you’re looking for mariscos in mesa this is your spot! I always recommend them to my friends and family! Never disappoints!“
“I've been here about 5 times now. I'll admit I've not tried many hot pot places and the other one I did try was way worse than this one. Great selection of veggies, noodles, meats & seafood. I've only ever had their Sukiyaki broth, a little bit savory & sweet! The not having free refills kinda irks me since you're paying $35 bucks a person.“
“What a lovely experience!I hadn't been to a Rubio's in I-don't-know-how-long, but our friend chose the restaurant and off we went.Placing our order was a breeze. After finding a table, we filled our beverages and, to my surprise, they have a salsa bar. It was very clean and well-stocked. I was in Heaven! I asked for larger cups and was graciously supplied with as many as I wanted (6). I got onions and cilantro, mild, green and chipotle salsas. Oh, and don't forget the lime wedges. I was ready for my meal. They delivered our food to our table. WHAT?!?!?!?! NO ONE does that anymore. It was a wonderful touch making me feel like they appreciated we chose their restaurant for dinner. My fish taco platter was SO good. I added the green salsa, onions and cilantro, and lime juice to EVERYTHING! Dipped my chips in the refried beans and mild salsa. If I had been alone, I would have drank the extra salsa it was so good. This visit has put Rubio's back on our rotation for places to go out for a meal. THANKS!“
“Amazing Tacos and Mexican food. This is my favorite spot to get Carne Asada Quesadillas. Jarritos are always stocked up and every times I've been here it's always tasted amazing. Their Salsa is actually really spicy too I love it.“
“I love this restaurant so much, I Leah’s go here at most every other day, the food is always hot and ready and it’s super delicious and hope this restaurant can grow! It will always be my top 5 favorite restaurants, all the waitresses are super nice and I always give a huge tip. It is a Mexican restaurant so don’t expect so much English. Their English is super well though! Loved everything about it and they do karaoke Thursday to Sunday and everyone in the restaurant gets along. There are usuals there (me being one of them) super nice we love going here. The place is always clean too!“
“Food was delicious! Service was great! Just be aware they have smaller portions (but unlimited biscuits helped fill me up) and some changes to what they offer. Prices were fair with the higher costs due to Covid.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp“
“Went in after getting a Happy Hour email. Sat at a table. Turns out the Happy Hour deals AND menu items are only available in the bar. Makes absolutely no sense to me. The food was good and the service prompt and friendly. Just be warned about the Happy Hour thing.“
“1st time being here, & I didn't expect the service I got here for being a 1st timer? love how they attended us and how they really cared how I liked my service. They really go beyond to make sure you have a good experience! Monica was the best!!!“
“How do I get a job at this place?! New ownership has done some miracles and if it only takes 3 for sainthood, I'd really like to meet the owner...The ceiling tiles have been SEVERELY improved with just a simple fix. The lighting is beyond mood setting and has a pinch of welcoming charm. And the pool tables are currently being refitted and improved. It also looks like there's a nice community involving a potluck, and my experience with the boys this morning only backs up that theory! But all that is minor, because I'm about to drop an Oppenheimer level bomb...There's a "Last Action Hero" pinball machine. And for some reason, I'm told it's FREE RIGHT NOW. Just a big ol Arnie Schwarzenegger staring at you...daring you...will you play?“
“just tried to have a nice dinner at the restaurant. A loud, very vulgar patron forced us to leave early. Our waitress spoke to the manager about the patron. the manager refused to say anything to the patron. as we left my husband told the patron we were leaving because of his language. he said he wanted to buy us a drink and tried to apologize, all the while using vulgar language!! My disappointment is in the manager and his refusal to confront the person“
“While some of the dishes like the ultimate feast have gotten ridiculously expensive lately, this is a good restaurant that I like and where you can usually find a seat. The manager checks in regularly here. They also have a couple $7 wines and an ok $7 margarita. And their biscuits are great!“
“This place has a good selection of food and cheap beer. The dining room is good size, but it fills up quickly. In the evenings they have live music on the stage, and it is even more crowded. Chips and Salsa are good. The fish filet is lightly breaded and very good. They also have the kind that is the whole creature deep fried, but that's not for me! I highly recommend coming on Thursday because it is 50% off all dishes. My friend usually goes every Thursday! Sometimes the service is a little slow, especially when busy. Parking is usually a challenge, particularly in the evening and weekends. Bathrooms are a little scary. But the food is great and worth coming back.“
“A very rich and well served seasoning, I recommend it.Parking: There are plenty of parking spaces near the restaurant door.Kid-friendliness: They have a menu especially for children.Wheelchair accessibility: You have exclusive parking spaces for people with special needs.“
“So good food fresh and not dried out. There was 10 of us. And half did not want to go to buffet because food never fresh. So I told them I buy dinner and if it's not good enough you don't need to pay me back. They all paid me back. So great job.“
“This food is delicious! I haven't had Mexican sea food like this in years. The owner is a very humble and likable guy who does it all himself. I'm throughouly impressed, and his customer service is spectacular. He came to my work and brought me a prepared coconut just for me to try, free of charge. I really can't say enough with how touched I am. Please give it a try!“
“For a gas station this place has really good chicken. The trick is getting there right after it's made but that isn't a hard stop. I have eaten here other times and it was still good. The sides are kinda bland but still edible. The biscuits... I haven't had a soft one yet but I can tell they'd be ok if fresh. All together, the chicken is four stars but everything else brings it to only three and a half stars. Great drunk food though!!!“
“Came by on a busy Sunday for some lunch. They start you off with chips and ceviche, very delicious!? The Micheladas were ? af! Tried the ceviche de camarón cocido & Cayomango VIP sushi. Everything was very flavorful, but I do feel that the ceviche portion was just a bit small for the price. They have a separate room for the Banda, you have the option of choosing were you want to sit which was nice. Definitely coming back to try more menu items! Overall 4?“
“Been wanting to try this place out, and finally did today. Server, was very attentive. Food came out piping hot. We had the fried shrimp basket with fries. It's was pretty good. They offer different seasoning for your food. I'll probably go back for the crab legs next time.“
“Great shrimp fajita with lots and lots of delicious shrimp. Others in my party ordered the beef fajita burrito. Those burritos were large, packed with meat and yummy too. We brought home what we couldn't eat. Service was excellent despite the fact that the restaurant was full.“
“Definitely the best Dim Sum spot in the Valley! The service is great, the food delicious and fresh & it’s perfect for satisfying your cravings. I enjoy bringing friends and introducing them to the huge selections they offer. There’s something for everyone. The push carts are fun to pick from but they also offer a menu. It gets pretty busy on the weekends so go earlier or prepare to wait.“
“Drive thru speed has improved but still seems like they cater more to walk ups in regards to priority. If you go during dinner time be prepared for a 30-40 minute drive thru wait and to make it worse there is no escape once you get their property and no bathroom is on site to use either...“
“The camarones cucaracha are a must! The spicy sauce on the side is out of this world. We also had the tostada de camarón (ceviche) and the shrimp coctel which we’re both very tasty and fresh. The servers are great and super attentive. We went on a weekend and they had lovely live music.“
“We first popped in here shortly after it opened when you didn't need a reservation and no one visited downtown Mesa. The bartender asked us what our drink tastes were like and made us some delicious custom drinks not on the menu. We keep coming back for drinks, someday we may be able to afford to eat here but for now we get a drink then go to Tacos Chiwas.“
