“Ordered the $5.50 lunch special at the Anthem location of a slice of pizza (sausage) and green salad. The salad was amazing, fresh and generous. The thin crust pizza slice was good sized and the sausage was very generous, along with ample amount of cheese and good seasonings. The price is awesome! Sat outside near the bar, server was efficient and pleasant, and enjoyed a visit from the cute road runner mascot!”

“Being from Phoenix, it was nice having someone who was doing their job and courteous behind the drive thru window. The place looked clean from what I could see inside and was clean outside. Bonus was no strung out tweeker was trying to come up to my windows or blocking me from driving through to buy them something or give them money. “The only place to eat for miles and miles around. The Wild Horse West keeps it simple with their menu of burgers and chips. A few other options are available but the simplicity of the menu was quite nice. They advertise the best burgers. The burgers were good. When we asked a local person if there was somewhere to eat close to us, he laughed and said the only place is a burger place. We were so glad we asked. We would have never known this was a restaurant.”

“Welp, they did it again. After meeting a colleague for a networking coffee last week and being very impressed, I returned to Williams Coffee Co this week with the misses aaaand it’s now our favorite breakfast spot in north Phx. It’s locally owned (Starbucks is not fresh or local) which is important to us to support our local economy. My gal gets a Spanish coffee that she raves about and I’m all about the chef’s daily pastries. We tried the avocado toast and EVERY ingredient used in this breakfast was fresh and delicious. The chef takes baking to another level and it’s crazy to think that such a gem is hidden in a little shopping plaza a mile from our house. Coming from Flagstaff, I miss the local food scene that has owner operators pouring love into everything they serve. We finally found a place close to home that does just that. We’ll be back a couple times a week for years to come! PS- the pic is the pesto avocado toast. I don’t do eggs, so they split it, one with, one without. So good!”

“Whether it's an after dinner treat or a way to cool down from a play date at the park, Sam's is a great treat stop in Anthem.They are always changing up their flavors, ensuring to keep seasonal flavors on tap as well. They are also intentional to have low sugar, gluten free, dairy/lactose free flavors available. This time I got the STOK cold brew coffee and it was delicious. My family loves the Passionfruit Orange Guava (POG). There are also plenty of toppings and add ins to chose from. I've seen reviews about cleanliness issues and we've been here several times and I think the cleanliness of the dispensers and toppings bar really just depends on who goes in front of you. Since this is all self serve, you have to imagine it is people of all ages dishing themselves; some people are neat and tidy and some, well, not so much. Sometimes, no matter how careful you're being, it can still end up messy. If there is some kind of major spill or cross contamination the person working there has always stepped in to clean it up immediately. If you see something really egregious or concerning, I've never seen the person working there not address it.”

“This place is a mexican themed restaurant with americanized mexican food. (Cheese on the food). The asados here are not mexican style but they do sound mexican. If you want to eat something goos but easy to handle, here is a good place. The drink variety was great but the food should have been cooked the proper way, (in a pot cooking in the sauce till the meats become tender). I mighy come again if im not feeling like driving far to the other better tasting mexican restaurants.”

“Just had lunch at the new location on anthem way next to amped coffee. The food and service was amazing! I had the BBQ burger and let me tell you when I say it was delicious, I mean it 100%! Burger cooked to perfection, and the BBQ sauce was sooooo good ( I normally am skeptical about BBQ from restaurants because they are hardly ever good). The chief can read minds (not really but felt like it) because I was two seconds from asking for a water cup for my wife and my self and before I could get up he came out and offered one! Hands down best meal from anthem. “Quiet ans cozy place a little hidden gem. The menu has a huge variety of items to choose from. We had the Vegas roll, shrimp tempura roll, gyoza, chicken fried rice, and it was all amazing and full of flavor! We will definitely be back again.”
