I’m not a huge Mexican food person but this food was fabulous! I wanted to go back the next day. Our waiter was engaging and we had a conversation about the Iowa State Fair. Since he knew we were visiting he packed up some chips and salsa to take back and have in the room.
Small little Mexican restaurant inside of San Carlos Hotel. We stopped by for a nightcap and we're not disappointed the owner was very helpful and attentive and we always felt at home. We tried the potato taquitos and the pozole rojo and they were both exceptional. We also tried some of their cocktails and those are very savory as well. A delicious restaurant to eat at. The staff members were fantastic and very friendly, from the hostess to the waiter, food runner, and busses. The food is delicious ?. I must say that the music was excellent and just at the right volume to enjoy and have a conversation with my granddaughter.
