“Old school joint for sure with solid menu choices in pasta, veal, chicken, seafood. Overall the food was really good but didn't knock my socks off. Their linguini and clams came with the clams unshelled which I'm never a fan. The white sauce lacked character. The shrimp scampi my wife told me was great. The bread is simple but excellent. The service was attentive and excellent. The wine pours are chincy for a $15 glass of Chianti. I'd expect at least 9oz for Chianti, but be happy with 7oz. Overall very good, but there are still other spots in the valley this place doesn't beat.“
“WowEverything was perfect. Best italian ive ever had.Pasta was perfectFussolini RossoGnocci BurrataGrilled SalmonThe Gnocci was cooked perfectly. Everything about it was perfectThe Fussolini hits you in the face. Who knew a single noodle in each bite would be the perfect amount of flavorThe grilled salmon was something. The texture profile on the flesh side of the salmon could not have been better. Grill marks but no char. The outside-most part of the flesh side was a bit different texture as the inner flesh. Perfect.Wait staff was really good. I wish I remember our waiter's name. Perfect mix of small talk and service.Manager made an appearance which is always nice just so you know they care and isnt in the back watching tv while his staff is doing the work.Even had a nice convo with the waiter about the salmon and how they prepare it. He was a stand up guy.The only thing that could be complained about (i am not) is the portion sizes are not giant. I feel that the sizes are perfect, however. For reference I am a 170 lb male. I eat between 1500 and 2200 calories a dayIf i was local I would eat here at least twice a month. Wouldnt change anything. Perfect end to my trip.Vegetarian options: Not familiar with this, but I believe they were clearly marked. Certain dishes had a "V" which i believe was red. They were the dishes with no meat. Could be vegan too. Ate the Gnocci which was one of them. Amazing dish. If you are vegetarian/vegan, you arent left behind.I also believe all pasta had a gluten free variant, but i do not remember for certainKid-friendliness: No menu for kids, but waiter gave suggestions for small portion/flavors which kids would enjoy. No problems at all“
“Found this place randomly a few years ago and absolutely LOVE IT! My biggest problem with the previous owner and the new owner is they make such a good specialty sub that I never try anything else lolI have got to try the pizza and other stuff as well but man that Joe's sandwich is great. Was working in the area today and stopped in and got it and a pistachio cannoli that was also fantastic. They have indoor and outdoor seating which today was perfect to sit outside and enjoy.Sidenote I had been looking for 00 flour locally for awhile now and realized they carry some great options here and got a little lesson as well.Next time I am in I will definitely want to try something else but I will probably be walking out with the Joe again and my flour to make pasta at home.I know a lot of us out here are from the Chicago area as well as back east and if you miss those amazing little mom and pop delis that make everything fresh this is the place to go! It reminds me of back home.“
“Ah-MAZING. I found out about Stumpy’s from a coworker and took a picture of his slice because it looked so damn good. Fast forward a week and some out of town family asked for good pizza. I don’t usually recommend somewhere I haven’t tried, but something told me to go with it. They finished earlier than I was quoted online and were so sweet - but the pizza! My guests all agreed that it was the best pizza they’d had in years. I’ll be back soon! The whole menu has my name on it. ? Thank you!“
“This place is amazing. Everything that I've ordered from there has been delicious. It's so nice to finally have some diversity in restaurants in our neighborhood instead of the usual pizza, chicken or Mexican food. Not there bad, but it's nice to have itialian back in this part of town. It's been too long....??“
“Wow! Lovely place deceivingly inside a strip mall. So beautiful inside. We were greeted by a welcoming, congenial and funny hostess who turned out to be Michelina. She let us choose a table and is very e lngaging and charming. The waiter was the obviously either family or long time staff in that his demeanor was completely invested in the restaurant. His recommendations were amazing. Detailed, thoughtful and informative. What a truly wonderful experience. I wish I lived here year round so I could enjoy this gem more often.“
“First off, it's incredible. The atmosphere is fun, romantic, and inviting. Jill was our server, and from the first smile was fantastic! The live music really brought the whole feeling of this place together. Everything we ate was spectacular. We shared the fried calamari, and the pepperocini sauce was addictive. The caesar salad was one of the best I've ever had. My husband had the capellini pomodoro. He said it was light, refreshing, and perfectly cooked. He added chicken, and it was mouthwatering. I had the famous cioppino. It was excellent, I literally was speechless. The shellfish just fell out of the shell, the salmon melted in your mouth, the shrimp were perfectly cooked, and don't even get me started on the scallops. The latte was absolutely perfect, and he really enjoyed his Super Tuscan wine. I was never without water, and service was absolutely excellent. Jill was absolutely a delight and we will definitely be back!!! 10/10 would recommend.“
“Amazing pizza and cocktails! It gets pretty crowded on the weekends for dinner so definitely make reservations or come early enough to grab a table. We got there around 6pm and it was a 30 min wait so not terrible. Highly recommend their olives for appetizer, they're really addicting!“
“This was my second time visiting and it was delicious, yet again. Both times I've been here, the staff is incredible, the food is amazing and the place is so cute. I highly recommend. This time my sister and I shared the escargot, she has the veal Marsala and I got the seafood special, then we shared a creme brulee. It was all perfect.“
“My boyfriend treated us to an early Sunday dinner here, also our first time dining here.We experienced the absolute best service that surpassed all expectations. The staff's kindness, attentiveness, and genuine friendliness created a memorable and enjoyable evening. Their commitment to providing top-notch service truly sets this establishment apart as the best in class.Love the freshly made pasta and Bellini.“
“On a whim went to Federal and was greeted with an immediate table and phenomenal food. Our server Amber was gave one of the best service experiences I’ve had in a while. So friendly, put up with any request we had, and gave all the Parmesan we could have asked for. Thank you ATUMN and thank you Federal.“
“I enjoyed my visit to Alexi's. The service was friendly and attentive. The salad was pretty basic but the Cabernet dressing made up for it. I ordered the southwest Marsala, which I want a huge fan of and thought it was average. I think I just got the wrong dish as the presentation and quality seemed top notch. I will be back to try a different dish in the future!“
“Great food. Little pricey but worth it if you choose the right dinner. I had the chopped clams with shrimp, in a garlic cream sauce. So good. But the clams with linguini with white sauce, I was not a fan. The canolli and brownie is to die for.“
“Wow would have known that this little home town bistro could really deliver. The food was lovely and the menu had many different dishes to choose from. Our cocktails were amazing but the best part was the service we felt like we belonged, it was my sister's birthday and the restaurant celebrated her which was so special. If you're looking for something special don't forget to check it out!“
“First time coming here and I liked it a lot. The server was really nice and professional and the atmosphere was good. They were playing 80s music the whole time I was there. I am not sure if that is the norm but I like it. The presentation of the food was great and it tasted good. The Bolognese is what my wife had and was much better than my dish. Mine was good as well but recommend hers instead if you plan to visit. The Tiramisu was Strawberry and I had not tasted that before. I was not disappointed at all. Overall I was very happy with everything except for one thing but it's not a big deal. I would recommend getting the sink redone in the men's restroom. It's a shame to have such a nice environment and then have to see that. It doesn't match and out of place. I do recommend you pay Nook a visit as you will not be disappointed.“
“Really great dining experience. Location isn't the best but beautiful inside and the food is top notch. Our server was really helpful and guided us through the menu with some great choices. We had the chicken livers, cannelloni and the pork and apples. All were delicious and we finished with the lemon ice cream. Would definitely return.“
“Wow, what a wonderful dining experience for a place that we didn't even know existed for over 42 years and over this time they have perfected their menu. Restaurant is clean and spacious. Service is fast and our waitress is very friendly. We started with the meatballs with the incredible marinara sauce, that was the perfect consistency. And then ventured into the fried zucchini, which was delicious.Hands down the Best pizza in town. We had two different pizzas. We did the hand tossed pizza with the vegetables and meat, which was incredible and then we did the thin crust white pizza with the basil. The mozzarella and the sauce felt like it came straight from the kitchen of Italy. We finished off with the chocolate chip cookie and walnuts and ice cream, which was vegan and didn't have any eggs surprisingly. Definitely recommended and we can't wait to go back to try more incredible items on the menu.“
“Fantastic experience at CIBO. The outdoor patio is well shaded, creating an intimate atmosphere for a nice date night. The proximity to the downtown offers an easy walk to many downtown attractions.Food menu is a curated delight of italian favorites. Drink menu boasts an impressive collection of authentic European wines and beers. Price point is very reasonable given the experience.Overall, a fun italian eatery not to be missed! Definitely will be returning.“
“This place is a hidden gem! Margarita the server we had was amazing! As soon as my daughter and I came in she had crayons and coloring books ready to go. Water was low, she filled it. Pizza needed boxing, she boxed it. This type of service is not typical for these types of restaurants and she was amazing. Pizza was amazing as well. We will definitely be back!“
“The Margherita pizza is delicious here. The ambiance outside is also great in the spring. This is definitely one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the city. You have to pay for parking at the south parking lot. However, they have a code by the entrance to validate your parking using the phone app. Make sure you use it. ?“
“First and Last was our First but will not be our Last!Just walking in for the first time, we were greeted graciously. The ambiance is perfect for a special night. Drinks and appetizer's were amazing. The dinner was over and beyond our expectations! The service was perfection. Can’t wait to experience again to try more unique and delicious food and gathering spot in Phoenix.Highly recommended!!!!“
“We just moved to AZ in June 2023. My wife and I love going out for a couple drinks and good food. This place checked all the boxes! We tried the Fritto Misto, to start and it was amazing. Salads had homemade blue cheese dressing, amazing. We tried 3 8” pizzas just to try a bit of everything and it was all legit! The Yukon Gold pizza was a surprise winner! Great atmosphere, great martinis, above all great food! Go here!!!“
“Pa'la is a culinary gem that truly embraces the essence of wood-fire cooking. “Highland Food Hub Overview: The Highland Food Hub offers an ultimate digital-first food court experience with a diverse lineup of 15+ exceptional restaurants, all conveniently located under one virtual roof. Now, let’s dive into the specific dishes I tried:1. Chicken Plate with Veggies from Hawaiian Bros:* I opted for the Huli Huli Chicken (also known as Molokai Chicken) served with rice and macaroni salad. The portions were generous, especially the rice. Not only did they provide a bed of rice under the chicken, but also a huge ball of it. Personally, I found it a tad too much rice, so next time, I’ll substitute it with veggies for a well-balanced meal.*2. Chili Wings from Mohinga Asian Restaurant:* The Lemongrass & Chili Oil Wing Toss caught my attention. These wings were coated in a zesty lemongrass and chili oil sauce. At $10.50, they were a tasty treat. The balance of flavors was spot-on, and the wings had a satisfying crunch.Overall Impression:* The Highland Food Hub offers a convenient way to explore a variety of cuisines without leaving your home. It’s a great option for busy days when you want to enjoy diverse flavors from different restaurants. The online ordering process is straightforward, and the pickup experience is efficient. I appreciate the concept of paying once for multiple orders and the flexibility to customize my meals.“
“It's a hidden gem in the area. I love their breakfast menu; everything is delicious. The location is clean and excellent with quick service. However, I give it four stars because my avocado toast was cold and not crunchy. I specifically asked for crunchy toast. Overall, it's an excellent place to hang out for brunch.“
“This is THE spot. I cannot say it enough. This staff is exceptional and the food is above and beyond in both flavors and presentation. You can see how they all work together to make the experience wonderful every time you’re there. It’s great for date night, families, and girls night. They just added happy hour every day too! Authentic upscale Italian with chill vibes.“
“Since discover this place in 2018 it's been mine and my husband's & now two toddlers favorites!! We always get Half pepperoni, Half pineapple, extra sauce and we'll done! I recommend this place to anyone that lives near by and ask for good pizza! It's always made exactly to our liking, and we're ALWAYS greeted with the most welcoming attitude! & Her ranch oh my it's the best!“
“First time here. Loved the food. Very authentic. Pricing fair. Took me back to New York. Atmosphere was quiet with simple decor. But the dishes speak for themselves. Parking is sparse.Parking: About 8 vehicles fit in front of the store close together. More parking in the back apparently.“
“Same great place it has always been!Went there this week. Times have changed. I'd give the rating a 3 based on food. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup. Have had many times. Bread was sliced very thin making the cheese grease come through bread. Not enjoyable. Shame. I always lived this place, but sure has changed in quality of food.“
“The bruschetta reminded me of garlic bread with cheese and tossed tomatoes added. It was okThe antipasto salad was good because the ingredients tasted fresh. The pie was 14” combination and it was delicious. The server seemed a little hyper but calmed down throughout my time at the establishment. The food is worth trying.“
“This restaurant is just fantastic! The food, the service the ambience. I was just there for my birthday and it was just beyond my expectations! Thank you so much Postino I will be back soon! The food and the support of the whole staff will make this one of your favorite restaurants too! Thank you so much!! I always bring my out-of-town guests here because it feels like family and everyone is treated so caringly which in these times is such a blessing.Vegetarian options: There are many vegan options and you can always ask for gluten-free bread, and the server will help youDietary restrictions: Postino’s has gluten-free vegan and wonderful choices. The serving staff is very attentive to your needs.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is all located on one ground floor, and part of the dining area is outside, so there is plenty of wheelchair accessibility“
“I've got a pizza place that's kind of my go to in a pinch. It's close to my home and is pretty decent. But when I want absolutely ridiculously good pizza, I drive a bit further, and Spinato's is always the choice. Their sauce is delicious. My favorite combo right now is pepperoni, Italian sausage, roasted red pepper and jalapeños. Hard not to eat the entire pizza in one sitting. Get some extra sauce for dipping.“
“I absolutely love this place! Every time I come here, the food is solid. There is no need to post photos since I've never had a bad meal here. The wine list is amazing and we have so much fun. I'm doing carnivore, and as soon as they put my plate down, I cheated?. The cioppino sauce is terrific. I had the brazed short rib over fries. It was so tender, and the fries were....well irresistible.“
“If youre looking for a truly authentic restaurant, you have come to the right place. Tony's is celebrating their 55 anniversary this year! Quite the achievment and shows how beloved it is in the community. The atmosphere is so cute. Nonpublic restroom FYI. A few small patio tables for dining outside, otherwise take it to go! Now to the review...We got two sandwiches. Two sides. and 3 cannolis.Sandwiches: Bread is homemade and 10/10. Meat is thinly shaved and great meat. Cheese and lettuce included. Extras are mustard, mayo, tomato, oil and vinigar. overall it was a 9/10. The bread won big points for me. The sauces were minimal and not overpowering too, more points. We orderes the Full Hot Turkey and Full Hot Pastrami sandwiches. less than 9 for a full sub can't be beaten.Large sides of macceroni salad for around $4! The macceroni salad was good, but thin with a mild flavor. If you like think chuncky macceroni salad then its not for you. That being said, I prefer the thinner flavor. 8/10 for me.And the winner is:Chocolate Cannoli. The cannolis are hand made fresh, shells and all. They are think and creamy and sweet. The vanilla was an 8/10 BUT the chocolate is a solid 10/10. Best Cannoli I have ever eaten. I'll be back to Tony's when I'm in the area.“
“We love North Italia. We regularly dine at the Phoenix and Irvine locations.I was disappointed to see that the Ahi tartar was taken off the menu, however…I understand they were having issues with good suppliers. I appreciate that.Tonight I tried their gluten-free funghi pizza in Phoenix.Gluten-free pizza is a different dough and needs to be more crispy. I did send it back to crisp it up a bit…. however, that didn’t work so well.I brought it home and put it in my cast-iron skillet on the stove and it turned out perfectly. One point I would like to make is that not everyone likes truffle. I happen to like real truffles, not truffle oil, as was the case with this pizza, Please list all of your ingredients so people understand what they’re ordering.I look forward to dining with you again soon! ❤️“
“WE sat outisde. Overhead heat lamp was nice. Our server, Shawna, was amazing. My wife had a glass of PinotGrigio and I hsd an IPA. Kathi had Tuscan style Pasta and I had an Americana pizza, my go to at home. For desert I had Cannoli and she had Tiramisu as suggested by Shawna. Next time i'll have Tiramisu. I want to try the Lasanga for dinner. We will be back! Jim ans Kathi“
“We experienced Thursday Nights Pop Up 3 course Dinner. From the First course to the Third our palate was thanking us!!!! The Lobster Lasagna…. I have no words It was Spectacular. The Second Course certainly did not disappoint. And the Third Course was so Yummy I wanted to lick the bowl. Service was Friendly Attentive and Professional as always ❤️❤️❤️“
“Food was delicious. Service was great. Unfortunately, we had a reservation that was made a few days ago and they had no knowledge of it. They did accommodate us within 15 minutes, but it was upsetting to be told they had no reservations for us then see them scrambling to get a table ready.“
“The service is quick, friendly, and knowledgeable. The meatballs were excellent, and the spaghetti is decent. A few more sauce spoonfuls would have been nice. This location has my highest recommendation! A great meal is provided for a great price, but the kitchen is a mess.“
“I've been coming to Pizza by Napoli for quite some time, surprised I've never wrote a review. I'm originally from Northeast PA so I am picky about pizza! However once I found Pizza by Napoli I was hooked! The guys that work there are great, the pizza is always good, and the service is always top notch! If you're in the mood for pizza give them a try!!“
“I think I might have just found my new favorite restaurant! I knew in the first 5 minutes that I was going to have REAL Italian food, and it did not disappoint. The calamari was crispy and they give you a lot, plus they did not skimp on the sauce or give you one tiny lemon. My partner had the veal parmigiana and said it was delicious. I had the rigatoni bolognese and it was also delicious and there was plenty to take home. The bread was also pretty stellar, a house made rosemary bread. On top of everything? It wasn't nearly as expensive as it would have been elsewhere. Great food and big portions at a good price is top tier in my book.I meant to take more pictures but the food was so good I forgot!Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian pizzas, salads, entrees, and pastas. Everything is clearly marked as well.“
“The pizza and wings were excellent!!! Friendly staff, clean and the service was great! The only issue was that it got a little warm where we had a large group, and they seated in the back. My son and I order take out all the time. We love their pizza and highly recommend it!“
“Unique Setting for Wine/BeerPROs:++Interesting niche near light rail++Good selection wines & beers++Outdoors seating & covered, far from street noise++Good food, but limited selections++Heaters for cool evenings++Ok Happy Hour prices & good hours, Huss across street has better beer prices on Happy hour.++Couple of fun events & tasting per month++Larry, the co-owner, is nice & friendly guyCONs:--Limited indoor seating for cold nights.--Limited food menu“
“This Olive Garden is fantastic! First, I would like to preface this with, I generally don't even like Olive Garden. The service here was superb. Lenny was attentive and detail oriented without hurrying us on a busy Friday night. She answered every question patiently, ensured food was fresh, brought out quickly and dealt with a gift card on a machine not used to gift cards when we were checking out at the end. The food was flavorful, served hot, fresh and with good portions. The afore mentioned machine was a tablet with menus and other activities. The tablet was perfect for showcasing dessert items. My friend and I also ordered dessert and they looked exactly as pictured and were delicious.Andrew, the manager, came out multiple times just because he was doing his job and monitoring the dining room on a busy weekend night. I am not a fan of chain restaurants because the service usually sucks but this was the complete opposite.I was also impressed that Olive Garden had both regular menus and tablets to look at menu items instead of just QR codes. I was dining with an elderly family friend (and I have elderly parents) the QR code menus sometimes take away from an enjoyable dinner experience. Olive Garden had both a regular menu and a tablet instead of a QR code. My only regret is that I was supposed to fill out a survey on the tablet and my family friend was tired after chemo and I forgot to do that.I would I would recommend this Olive Garden to anyone! It was really great!Parking: Lots of spots in handicapped too“
“Wish we would have taken a picture, prompt seating & it was busy, our server Felicia was amazing & our shrimp alfredo was to die for?I am so HAPPY OLIVE GARDEN hasn't lost it's GRACE!!! Sincerely, Christine & Steve 3-17-24“
“Italian is our favorite. But this is beyond our expectations. You can tell they have quality meat. Warm ambiance with friendly service by Daniel. We started with Bruschetta. 5 pieces generously loaded. Best I have had in a while. Then we ordered the Lamb Shank. Truly fork tender sitting on a bed of risotto. This is authentic Italian cuisine!“
“Anzio's Italian Restaurant is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the owner, Bill, who took the time to speak with us personally, adding a special touch to our dining experience. Our waitress, Brie, was not only attentive but truly went above and beyond to ensure our meal was perfect. The food was outstanding, and cozy atmosphere only added to the charm. My family has been coming here for over 30 years, and now that I live in Philadelphia, when we I come to town Anzio’s is an absolute must. I can't wait to visit Anzio's again when I return!“
“This is our first time visiting and it was great start to finish! The meatballs and stuffed peppadew peppers were a great start and then the pizzas came. They are fantastic!! We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza since it’s a good way for us to gauge a pizza place and this is the best one we have had in downtown. The crust is nice and crispy while still staying so airy. The pepperonis also have so much flavor! It was hard to stop eating cause it was so good. We will definitely return!“
“Was in town for a conference and found Pomo not far from the Sheraton and Convention Center. It was nice to get away from the typical places. Pomo is like a neighborhood restaurant/bar but with really good pizza. The other food I saw also looked really good. I recommend checking this place out!“
“Went to eat at Sicilian butcher and it just so happened to rain, we were seated outside.Fully booked inside we had to either wait for inside. Considering it was just a light drizzle that went away quickly we stayed outside. Matthew and the others made sure to accommodate in any way possible, including moving seats to a more covered area. Amazing service. Amazing food. amazing experience“
