Our first stop back in Phoenix! Matt's continues to offer great food and service over many years. This iconic breakfast spot is still packed in the mornings for good reason. The menu is small and so is the restaurant, but they never disappoint!Vegetarian options: Avocado toastParking: Small lot behind the building, but plenty of street parking and paid lots near by.
We arrived at the (campus?) location right as the door opened, and really glad we did. Before we got our meals there was a wiring line for seats. We had the pork chop meal (chop and chick), the (sandwich) and the special of the day a grilled pepper scramble. All three of us were very happy with the meals. This is a great restaurant for breakfast. The food was excellent. We were in the area for 4 days and thankfully found it the first morning and went back every day. The menu has so many options it’s hard to choose. The sourdough toast is the best I’ve ever had. The service was amazing. You were being taken care of by whoever walked by. They greated you when you came in and thanked you when you left. I will definitely return next time I’m in the area.
