I spent the entire morning hiking in the rugged, shadeless Granite Dells. Come the afternoon I chose lunch for my next goal, and before long I pulled up at the Lynx Lake Café, a favorite from way back. It’s as good as it ever was. I had schnitzel with spaetzle, the latter being German noodles sautéed and smothered in Swiss cheese. What a huge and fabulous meal that was! My favorite place to visit when in Prescott. Perfect views and great food!

We always love this place. The food is terrific and although, like all restaurants theses days, wait service help is sometimes difficult to get, the service has always been good, even during busy times. Love the Hummingbird show provided at the windows where the owners have hung numerous feeders. Overlooking the Lake is always nice and the outdoor seating is definitely dog friendly.
