“Overall great food and good service. My biggest complaint is that the menu is very large and it was hard to decide what to eat as someone who isn’t super familiar with Indian cuisine- would definitely recommend cutting the menu smaller and putting short descriptions under each menu item. The spring rolls were a great appetizer and the butter chicken taco was really good, definitely recommend if you want something different than traditional curry (and prefer less spice). I ordered the chicken tandoori biryani and asked for it mild but it definitely was the wrong thing to order because it was still very spicy to me. They were nice enough to bring out some sweet cooling desserts since my food was too spicy for me though“
“We have been going here since 2022. It's possibly our favorite Indian restaurant on the Phoenix Valley area. Food is great and service is excellent.We have tried both veg and non-veg dishes. Both are equally fine. If you looking for Indian bread definitely try the alloo Naan. Paneer Tikka, Paneer kadhai are awesome too.“
“Went to Al Hamra today with a group of 8 and it was clean, spacious and had an amazing vibe. The food was to die for. We had the lamb dish, chicken Tikka masala, butter naan, ginger chicken and amazing samosas. The food was exquisite and the customer service was above and beyond. My favorite was their tea at the end of the night. It's a half milk and half tea combination and it was delicious. The owner made us feel so welcome and he was so hospitable. I will definitely be going back to support this business and highly recommend it.“
“We loved our first meal here: lamb korma, chicken tikka masala, eggplant (Bagara baigan), dosa and garlic naan. Each dish was extremely flavorful. Spice level was as requested. Our only disappointment was the korma did not have many pieces of lamb, but it was still delicious and we will be back. I especially appreciate the inclusion of South Indian Dosa which is not on every Indian restaurant menu.“
“I visited this restaurant with my family. we tried veg,non veg items and both are delicious and beautifully presented. My kids loved the food. the staff is always ready to help, the promises are extremely clean and the atmosphere is lovely.“
“This is a good store. They sell select products that are of good quality, especially the fresh food from the kitchen is very tasty, well presented and reasonably priced. Siva, the store manager is courteous and helpful. Please continue providing good service!“
“my favorite indian food spot, I can't find a better butter chicken or chicken tikka masala I swear. 10/10 with flavor and portion sizing. only thing I would ask is to add a dairy free option with coconut milk or something for those of us with dairy issues“
“This is one of the undiscovered gem. In Phoenix this is so far the Best food.Don't judge the Food quality by seeing the restaurant from outside. This is small place but very authentic taste.Go and give a try and you will not regret.We ordered some starters like Pani Puri/Golgappa. This comes with Aloo/Sweet Imli pani and Spicy mint pani. Taste is Awesome.Gobhi and Aloo parathas are the best food there, comes with Dahi and Aam achar.Paneer masala, Parathas and Fulka Roti is awesome too.“
“This place was amazing. It had amazing food, variety of drinks like coffee, masala tea, and lemonade. This cafe was very kid friendly and also had some American drinks followed with a welcoming drink. They also pay great attention to every detail in the customers and would answer every question they were asked. The food was very authentic and was made for everyone by reducing the spice level so anyone could eat there regardless of spice in-toleration. The prices were a little pricey if they are a lot of people, but overall it was very affordable for new adults to eat in. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy some delicious Indian food or for people who want to save money, but still eat out. I love the cafe and would love to go again.“
“From the quality of food to the amazing service from the staff, Saima's Grill is quite a treasure I dined in here in a party of 6, arrived around 1:00pm on a Saturday. We did not have to wait for a table, but the place quickly became packed! We ordered a variety of dishes, including their famous Chicken Biryani. We also had a variety of their drinks which were all delicious. Portion sizes were generous and prices were not too bad.“

“We went to Hilal grill for lunch. Place was clean and organized. Ambiance was great with very open space. We ordered many items from the menu. Lamb kahan and Chicken kabab were ok as those were more like tikkas than kebabs (kebabs are minced meat with spices). We also ordered samosas and those were ok, not as expected (like the one we get in India, but taste wise ok. Mutton Kadahi and Butter Chiken were good. “The Dhaba once again dazzeled, which is why this is my go to Indian food place in Tempe. I ordered a take out order for Ramadan iftar. The guy on the phone said come in 30 minutes, which was perfect timing for iftar. I arrived gave my name for the order and the gentleman at the counter asked me how my Ramadan was going, had the food ready, I paid, got home in time to eat. Mashallah.I ordered Butter Chicken, 5 plain naan, and chole bhature. The food was awesome and had the right amount of spice and danced in my mouth.So, if you want Indian food with timely service then look no further.“
“The place has got some good Desi food.The naan was fresh, warm and made in the most perfect way.Samosas are good but the vegetarian samosas are the best.Mantoo dumplings and the lamb shank were pretty good as well. “Great lunch I'm so glad I stumbled across Khyber Halal. This place is a local small Afghan restaurant with a good selection of dishes, and the portions are very generous. This was my first sampling of Afghan cuscine and everything was really very good. On this visit we shared the Chicken Kabob, Chicken Biryani, Uzbek Pulao and garlic naan. Everything was fresh, made to order, and so flavorful. The naan was fresh, warm, slightly crispy and made perfectly. The meat dishes had great flavor, the meat was moist/tender, and the plating was beautiful and the serving sizes is more than enough for two people. The staff felt like family. They were so friendly and kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. A must visit place for delicious food“
“A week a go Friday , went to Taj palace for a quick bites of appetizers and drinks.Very very delicious Vegetable Pakora, Paneer pakora and tasty , refreshing sweet lassi(yogurt drinks) .Freddie , our server was very fri, great service. Will go back for dinner for sure.Vegetarian options: Lots of appetizers, main vegetable dishes, Dal , varieties of fresh cooked breads.“
