My wife and I dined at Mastro Ocean Club Scottsdale twice this past week and would like to convey how much we enjoyed both visits. Food and experiences were both top notch but what really highlighted both times was a very special waiter Matt Buck. We are not inexperienced diners and feel somewhat qualified in extending this review. Matt was a strong reason we returned in 2 days and just can't say enough about this special person. Fantastic birthday dinner for my husband. Our server, Kerrie, was amazing. The service could not have been better. She was attentive and all her recommendations were spot on. Chef Roberto came to our table and brought out a beautiful seafood appetizer. They have an excellent wine selection. My husband had the ribeye and a friend had the strip steak. Both were excellent. We enjoyed the atmosphere, even though we did not have reservations we were seated within 10 min. The wait staff (Wolfe and Cayden) were very courteous and professional. The food was outstanding, we particularly enjoyed the tuna tartar appetizer, but everything else (grouper, salmon, mushrooms) was delicious. I mentioned it was my wife's birthday, and they brought out a beautiful little Signature Butter Cake. This was a wonderful dining experience for us, we will we back!
