“Delicious and healthy, the meal commenced with a bowl of miso soup. Shrimp tempura was light and tender. Edamame are tasty. Gyoza was delightful with each morsel yielding a variety of texture. Chicken Katsu Curry had a light panko bread, offering a sense of fusion cuisine. The California roll, lovely in its simplicity, paralleled the dragan roll, an excellent combination of shrimp and smoked eel. The green tea perfectly complimented the meal. The music is not japanese, is too loud, and is somewhat disagreeable. Besides that, the atmosphere is pleasant and server Ariana was attentive.“
“Without a doubt it is number 1 of my favorite restaurants. ?The design of the place is super cute, I love that you can see the chefs cooking. The atmosphere is pleasant, I recommend booking next to the bar or outside since sometimes inside and depending on the occasion it could be noisy. The staff is super friendly and knows exactly what to recommend. The menu is quite extensive in terms of food and drinks. The presentation and taste of the food is excellent. In relation to the price and quality, it is adequate.I recommend preferably making a reservation.Without a doubt my favorites are:•Crispy eggplant, jalapeño honey•Cremini mushrooms, Soy garlic butter• 5 pieces NIGIRI• Crab sushiAnd for dessert UBE POT DE CREME ????“
“We were impressed by the professional and attentive service provided by our server. She checked in frequently, offering recommendations that turned out to be fantastic choices. Despite the slightly higher prices, the quality and presentation of the food exceeded our expectations. Every dish was a work of art, and the flavors were exceptional. While the prices may be on the higher side, the excellent food quality, presentation, and top-notch service make it worth every penny. Our experience was so delightful that we booked another visit before leaving. That's how much we loved it! For those seeking an exquisite dining experience with exceptional food and service, UCHI in Scottsdale is a must-visit.“
“Fabulous welcome, sushi, sake and service! First visit but we will definitely be back! We had the Gyoza, Salmon Carpaccio, the OMG roll and the Sex and the City Roll. All were delicious. While we were waiting we were treated to a taste of the chefs special. Really good!“
“The teppanyaki experience was entertaining, and the food was delicious. My picky kid tried and enjoyed the udon noodles, as well as the filet, chicken, and fried rice from my plate. We took home and enjoyed leftovers the next day that still tasted good.“
“I love sushi and try many different places. I always order Uni to use as my barometer for the other dishes. The Uni was absolutely delicious. Next I ordered the caterpillar roll and it was superb. The roll was large with many pieces filled with crab and topped with eel and avocado. The elk sauce was great, not too sweet and not too thin. I look forward to retuning often.“
“We’ve tried a few poke places, and this is our favorite! Fresh ingredients, good portions, a nice variety, and friendly service. Even though other poke restaurants are closer to our house, we keep going to this one. I would have included a picture, but I’ve already finished eating the food.“
“By far the best sushi I have had in AZ and way better and more authentic than Pure. Legitimate sushi chefs, attentive staff, excellent quality and very clean. The sashimi is amazing. The rolls are properly prepared, so you don't feel like you are eating a giant ball of rice that falls apart as you are trying to get it into your mouth. Highly recommend!“
“So yummy I recommend the eal and avocado sushi and wonderful service I sadly do not have a pic of the eel and avocado sushi because I ate it all but make sure to buy it they also have stuff for pickey eaters my sister had the orange chicken she loved it they also have meso soupe wonderful place would recommend to go“
“We have eaten poke bowls all over and near the coast and Hawaii. The ingredients were fresh and the options were extensive. The owner was extremely helpful and welcoming. The ahi was better than some tuna I've had in Hawaii. Well done with your business, highly recommend ?“
“We found this little sushi place and my goodness was it ever good!! The owners were wonderful (they are the real deal!), the presentation was beautiful and the fish was absolutely delicious. We will most definitely be going back next time we are in Scottsdale! Thank you!! If you’re in the area and aren’t in a rush, you need to stop here!“
“Update: food has improved a lot since my last visit. The sushi is surprisingly good. This is a Japanese Thai fusion restaurant and little on the pricy side - meaning neither is done very well and it’s not a great value. I tried the spicy tuna wontons, chicken basil and the eggplant and shrimp curry.Service is good, courteous and reasonably fast. The portion sizes were reasonable as well. But doesn’t really feel like a sushi place and I focused more on the Thai part. The dishes didn’t seem very traditional, but I don’t care about that I just need it to taste good and it was ok. But I certainly recommend trying it and see for yourself.“
“Delicious food and the biggest vegetarian section I've ever seen at a sushi restaurant. Fast and kind service, big tables that make it easy to go with a large group. This is the main sushi spot I go to in Phoenix - better than all the rest!“
“I ordered through Uber Eats for this specific order, but I have been in person too. Ordered a poke bowl, miso soup, and a smoked salmon roll. They didn't have any miso soup, so they gave me another salmon roll!! Which to me is a very generous substitute! So thank you! Always love their food, and the prices to me are fair.“
“Best sushi experience so far in Arizona coming from someone who lived in Japan for 15 years. I didn't try the uni but will next time. At $25 for two nigiri, it's a bit steep for me even though it's probably my favorite thing to eat. Toro roll was amazing! Natto, awesome as usual. Hot sake was great. We got the combination meals. Toro-don and cold ramen, Una-don and cold ramen. Both sets were amazing ? We'll be coming back again soon, but not soon enough. Looks to be all Japanese owned ??. Normally I get pictures but this time I missed out on a few dishes.“
“This was our second visit and once again the food did not disappoint. The service was good and the place was packed as it was a Friday evening. The sashimi and Tuna cracker was great. We highly recommend the Paradise, Dragon and crawfish rolls.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ling & Louie's, and I must say it was a gastronomic journey that left me thoroughly impressed. The star attractions of my meal were the Spicy Jeweled Beef and Beef Kung Pao, both of which were not only bursting with flavor but also generously portioned. The Spicy Jeweled Beef was a delightful symphony of flavors. Each bite was a perfect balance of spiciness, sweetness, and a hint of savory goodness. The beef was cooked to perfection – tender and succulent, while the medley of colorful vegetables added a visual and flavorful treat to the dish. The combination of spices used in the marinade created a memorable taste that lingered on my palate, making each mouthful a delightful experience.Equally impressive was the Beef Kung Pao, a dish that showcased the artistry of Ling & Louie's culinary team. The tender chunks of beef were complemented by a rich and complex Kung Pao sauce, featuring the perfect blend of soy, vinegar, and just the right amount of heat. The inclusion of crunchy peanuts and crisp vegetables added both texture and depth to the dish, elevating it to a truly satisfying culinary experience. What stood out beyond the delectable flavors was the portion size. Ling & Louie's did not skimp on generosity. The servings of both the Spicy Jeweled Beef and Beef Kung Pao were ample, ensuring that I not only enjoyed the taste but also left the restaurant feeling completely satisfied. The ambiance of Ling & Louie's was another highlight of my dining experience. The warm and inviting atmosphere, coupled with attentive service, enhanced the overall enjoyment of the meal.In conclusion, my visit to Ling & Louie's was a culinary delight, with the Spicy Jeweled Beef and Beef Kung Pao stealing the spotlight. If you're looking for a restaurant that delivers on both flavour and portion size, Ling & Louie's is a must-visit. I wholeheartedly recommend trying these dishes for an unforgettable dining experience that tantalizes the taste buds and leaves you craving for more.“
“Pleasantly surprised by this clean friendly colorfully decorated spot at 64th and greenway.I stopped by for a quick dinner and the service was stellar, the food deliciousI had crispy shrimp roll, gyoza, beef bulgogi and chicken katzu. I also tried cucumber salad and house fried rice. Ive had better cucumber salad, but hey its not season for cukes and the food was ALL good.Def on my rotation now. Took home many leftovers and the beef Bulgogi which is served on a yummy bed of onions made a great breakfast with an over easy egg on top:0) they have a selection of beer and wine“
“I dine here pretty often and most of the time it is the same group of servers who are just amazing. They always on top of refilling my drink, making sure I don’t need anything, and bringing out my food as soon as possible. My most recent server was Kam and I have gotten her a few times in the past, she is one of my favorites and I have been having her serve me for about a year. Overall Yen is just an amazing restraint with an amazing staff and amazing food!“
“Simple menu with rolls, sashimi, nigiri and a few main dishes. It was pretty empty but I can see it being a happening place during the weekends. Great service. Food was good too. Ordered the spicy edamame, the seaweed salad (recommended), Godzilla roll, tempura udon (recommended), kontatsu ramen, lotus Chicken, and piece salmon nigiri. Came out to be around $70.“
“Love this place. The best happy hour out there. Some of the best food I have had. Crab wontons are in the top 5 (and I make them from scratch myself), calamari is light and full of flavor. Sushi is fresh and amazing. The ORG Palette was our first disappointment (pricey and not a lot of flavor). Great for dates, parties or any time.Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant itself is accessible. Women's bathroom is accessible however there is a shelf in the path to the accessible stall. There are no grab bars in the bathroom at all. The stall is large enough to roll into. This was brought to the attention of the manager a year ago by me personally. Very sad they have not taken care of this as they legally are required too.“
“I had a Poke Bowl recently and it was outstanding. Staff is respectful and polite, the food is excellent and the restaurant is super clean and spacious. They usually have sports on the TVs and it's just a really nice relaxed, comforting atmosphere.“
“Stayed across the street for 2 days and ate here both days! Delicious food, awesome service/wait staff, clean and great music! The food was so fresh. Best sushi we have ever had and so many fun types of rolls. (Got the crispy California roll-wish we would have tried others!!) Also had teriyaki chicken, orange chicken and the crab rangoons. Don't give this place another thought! YUM!!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp“
“We’ve tried a few poke places, and this is our favorite! Fresh ingredients, good portions, a nice variety, and friendly service. Even though other poke restaurants are closer to our house, we keep going to this one. I would have included a picture, but I’ve already finished eating the food.“
“My friends and I were in Scottsdale for the weekend and wanted to have at least one high end dinner on our trip. Social media pointed us in the direction of Donabe, a hip, new, Japanese Steakhouse located in the swanky W Scottsdale Hotel. Walking past all the exotic sports cars at the valet and into the gorgeous lobby, we were a little confused to where the restaurant was. We were directed to a check in area by the stairs that had a roped off area like a club. We made reservations well in advance and were immediately taken up the stairs through Cottontail Lounge to the restaurant which is right off the wet deck of the beautiful pool area. Already impressed, we entered into a small, intimate dining room that was absolutely stunning. I can see why this place has a strict dress code as everyone was dressed to impress inside here. Veronica was our waitress and she took great care of us from start to finish. Like always, I was undecided or torn between items and she was quick with suggestions. I started off with a Japanese Old Fashioned while we perused the menu. It was a little different than your traditional old fashioned, but not in a bad way. They really do have a good variety of adult beverages to choose from. We decided to get a variety of small bites first. The Crispy Rock Shrimp was a great start. We also went with Hachi Maki and Kawa Wang rolls. They were both completely different flavor profiles, but tasty. The Kawa Wang won out for me because it had a little kick to it. This place is proud of their wagyu offerings, but I ended up continuing with the sea flavors. I ordered the Ora King Salmon for my main. It was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looks. I finished off the meal with an Espresso Martini and was completely satisfied. Overall, I am glad we decided to take a chance on something that is new to the area. It was a spendy dinner and to me a little overpriced for what we got, but it is to be expected in Scottsdale.“
“Easily one of my favorite sushi places in the Phoenix-area! The sushi is quality and delicious with plenty of other, non-sushi, options, and the all-you-can-eat is great. I have been coming here for about 2 years now and enjoy lunch here about once a week!“
“I have to give this review a 5/5. The food was excellent and the restaurant gave me happy 2010s vibes which reminded me of a simpler time. The service was what I deliberated on the most for this review. My server was a somewhat tall gal with fair skin and jet black hair. I believe she said her name was Stepharoo? She was prompt and remembered our orders perfectly. I was going to give her 4 stars for service because she was kinda...-very weird. But she had awesome knock jokes so 5/5.☆☆☆☆☆“
“The food at Neuro Asian fresh was amazing! I got the salmon and tuna, tuna, pokey, bowl, spicy, and it had fresh ingredients and tasted delicious. We also got the chicken, Roma con fried appetizer, which was also just as good my husband got the house lo mein with shrimp, beef and chicken. He loved it too! We will definitely be back in the price was reasonable.“
“Sushi here is decent and the service is good. I've also had a takeout ramen and the way the food was packed was quite good as the soup was separated from the noodles to prevent the noodles from getting soggy. This restaurant has been around for awhile but it looks like the little Japanese restaurants that I've seen when we lived in Tokyo, made me feel like I was back in Japan.“
“The food, service, drinks, and décor are fantastic! However, the loud club and rap music was horrible. I am utterly confused about your blatant dismissal regarding the music choices. You claim to not be a traditional tiki bar, yet you are in every single way... except for the music! You call it a "modern twist" (whatever that means) and it just doesn't work with the theme. It's a real shame because the valley is seriously lacking a good tiki bar and you are SO CLOSE to being the best. It's very tragic, honestly. I would spend hundreds of dollars there (again and again), if you just embraced it and went all in with the whole tiki kit and cabooodle. Please enlighten me why ya'll are so dead set on not playing tiki music. Take a poll or do a trial run, see how it's received... something!!“
“Food and waitress service was great but the hostess were horrid. Didn't have our reservation then proceeded to tell us that we couldn't have a booth because those were for people with reservations. Even after I showed them my confirmed reservation on OpenTable they wouldn't do a thing. Definitely a poor reflection on the company“
“Had my first Nobu experience while in Scottsdale over the weekend and I was blown away. I sat at the sushi counter and was overly impressed by the service, food, cocktails, atmosphere, literally everything!Dorain, Maurice, and Nick all had wonderful recommendations and I ordered everything they suggested. I’m still thinking about my amazing dinner at Nobu and was blown away by the whole experience. I can’t wait to try Nobu in another city!“
“Absolutely without a doubt the BEST sushi I have ever had!! Went here last night with 9 others. We had a blast and they were SO accommodating even though we came in about 45 minutes before closing. Ate like kings and queens and very affordable for the quality and the amount of food!“
“Seems terribly lonely inside. The option I picked was just teriyaki chicken and beef and rice and green onions and that was it. All the toppings are an additional 2-4 $ which can add up very quickly. The chicken and beef was good but needs more toppings!Perhaps I should try the sushi next time… good prices but who knows the quality …Dietary restrictions: Gluten free ✅“
“Best Ramen, so delicious! Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and overall awesome. Kyle helped my kids open their Japanese sodas and gave them a tutorial on how to use their chopsticks. When my 10-year-old still couldn’t manage the sticks, he brought her a plastic tool to help her practice. The Cut rolls came out fast and were delicious. We had a great experience as a family and will definitely be back!“
“This review is specifically for the karaoke rooms. When we first tried this place out in 2022, it was just an okay experience- the room felt a bit old/unclean, the song selection was limited, and we spent half our alloted time battling with the glitchy sound system. We tried it again the following year and it has SIGNIFICANTLY improved- the machines work flawlessly, the new karaoke app has plenty more songs, and the rooms have been tidied up or remodelled. This has become one of our favorite experiences in Old Town and we're constantly finding excuses to come here. The service is great and their specialty cocktails are delicious as well. We will definitely be back, undoubtably several times more. :)“
“Food was all very good. Happy hour prices made it reasonable. Service was good, but sorry that mandatory tip for party of 6 is necessary. Very noisy, we asked to be moved & were reluctantly accommodated. Overall great food, good service & glad we're able to reserve.“
“Title: "Exceptional Service and Delicious Sushi Rolls at Sushie Brokers"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sushie Brokers, and I must say that it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Our waitress, Nina, truly elevated our dining experience with her extensive knowledge of the menu and her genuine concern for our satisfaction. Her excellent service made our visit truly memorable. The highlight of our meal was the Surfer Roll, which I highly recommend to anyone visiting the restaurant. The combination of flavors and freshness made it a standout dish. Additionally, the Las Vegas Roll was a delightful surprise, and it perfectly complemented the Surfer Roll.In addition to the sushi rolls, we also enjoyed the flavorful fried rice with chicken, which was seasoned to perfection. The potstickers were also a hit, perfectly crispy on the outside and filled with delicious savory goodness inside.Overall, Sushie Brokers exceeded my expectations in both food quality and service. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. I will definitely be returning to try more of their delectable offerings.Sushie Brokers, with its outstanding service and delectable dishes, has earned a top spot on my list of favorite dining establishments. I can't wait to return for another memorable meal!“
“If you want to Party Down with my favorite Sushi Bar out West ..I still Love You Sushi Garden - Tucson Louis G. GONZO LOVED SUSHI G TOO. We're else can you hit the floor after Saki with a Sapporo & back to Ahi or Tamago today tomorrow any time is a fine time to dine @ RA“
“We went for lunch soon after they opened. It was pretty busy but we were seated right away. We’ve been here a few times already so we know how popular this place is. We got the chirashi and sushi & tempura lunch special. We also got aji, ama ebi nigiri, spicy tuna and takoyaki. It was a ton of food. Food came out quick and all so delicious. I would consider Hiro as a place I get more traditional japanese food, rather than fancy decked out rolls.Kid-friendliness: We’ve taken our 2 year old here and regretted it. Not because they were not accommodating, but because it’s a small space.“
