I am highly disappointed this evening. I have been eating the same thing here since 2016....this is one of my favorite places to eat and tonight my favorite quesadilla was disgustingly bland and they forgot the peppers and onions... Not to mention how dry and tasteless the rice was. Sorry to say I'm done eating here if this is how it is now. Worst 30 bucks I've spent on my boyfriend and I in a long time. So sad.

A co worker recommended this place but I literally watched them hand two diffetent delivery people food then they left me standing in their lobby for about 10 minutes offering no service. I left.

Need to get myself back to El Hefe! I grew up in a Latino neighborhood, so good margaritas were a regular occasion! Been looking for a good Rita since I moved here. Happy to found a good one at El Hefe!! Oh and let's not forget taco Tuesday y'all!Ended up having to snag one of their hillarious shirts after our meal.

Never been here but have a bad review for allowing people to party without masks and helping to spread the coronavirus. Thanks El Hefe for not taking care of Scottsdale!!

Prejudice and assumptive. My very dark skinned friend and I walked arm and arm a tad buzzed looking for somewhere nice to have a drink and maybe some food. (We were calm and just hungry... not loud, anything, minding our own business) Waitress tossed the menu at us, and didnt come back or literally even check on us for over twenty minutes. We had plenty of money and plenty to tip... but it felt like because we were mixed, seeming gay, and already a tad loose they just didnt want to serve us. I'm used to this behavior a lot of places I go, judging my friend and I based of her skin color or mine.... just not right. Ever then, if it was based off of how we were dressed it was the middle of summer in arizona, and literally not a single person there helped us out. Not even a glass of water.

I've never been to this place but I've heard such great reviews about it. I finally have time to come and experience this place, but it's closed. Y'all should let people come in with reservations limiting it to every other table. Please open soon...

Not a bad spot on mill ave. Has patio seating on the corner and a cool young vibe. Had the carne asada tacos and was very happy as well as a churro dessert.
Place was pretty cool . This really nice bartender helped me out fast but i wasn't able to catch her name but she was an adorable blonde with amazing eyes ;)

Food was good, nothing exceptional or over the top. Waitress was friendly, but fairly incompetent. We seated ourselves. Got menus ourselves. Only saw the waitress for our order and for our bill. Never got napkins/silverware. Busboy was the most on point. It was Saturday and the restaurant definitely had patrons, but it wasn't packed. Wouldn't rush back anytime soon.

My fiancé met me and my friend at El Hefe. We went to the patio where we could talk and have a great time. My fiancé went to the bar and ask the bartender (young, tall Caucasian man) If we could get a server because we want to dine and have some drinks, he said yes and agreed to send someone right away. We waited for over 10 minutes and nobody came. Instead of just leaving, I decided to ask for the manager but the same bartender told me they don't serve at the patio but if we moved inside He was going to send someone right away. We came inside, sat and waited and waited and no body came. My fiancé and I planned to spend quite a lof money because we were celebrating our friend new career and plans. Being lied, made us wait, and on the top of everything, ignored was very insulting and disrespectful. Bad management if this the way you train and supervise your staff. They all should give the same quality in service. I work for a local university and definitely I will not recommend this place for a long time. Update, I have been contacted by management. Kevin contacted us regarding the negative experience we had at his establishment. He was very professional and wanted to make this right. We will visit El Hefe soon and will keep you posted.
