OMG I just found my second, make that my first favorite place in the Phoenix area. Great brewery with a marvelous taste of phenomenal beers. Had the vegetarian pizza, because it just sounded so good, it was excellent. I will be here again on my next trip to beautiful Phoenix.

I ordered the fish dinner. When it was served to me, the fish was burnt black....... Instead of golden Brown. I tried to peel all the black burnt breading off the fish, but I must not have got it all. I got sick and threw up later that night. If this is how much pride you have in your cooking, I will never be back again.

Food is fresh and tasty, except for the fries ... fries with a thick batter on them are gross. Just my opinion of course. That same batter makes for some super tasty chicken strips, however. Beer is pretty famous by now, you know it's good.

Plenty of patio seating. Surprisingly large inside too. Good food - the sweet potato fries were awesome!Parking: I'm not even sure if there is a parking lot or not. If so, it's tiny. Street parking (free) is the main option. Be prepared to walk.

Fun atmosphere. Excellent beers. The cheesey bread and pretzel was delicious. A great place to meet friends and have a good time.

Not sure why the ratings are so high. Food is mediocre at best and I just had the worst beer that I have had since moving to Arizona. Bad birdie is not a service worthy beer and needs to be poured into the drain.

My review is NOT related to the beer, which is excellent. My review is specific to our dining experience. We stopped in for dinner and drinks. It was a rainy day so no one wanted to sit outside, which made for a long wait to get a table. We were able to grab a couple seats at the taproom/gift shop bar while we waited, which was great. The bartenders were very attentive. Once seated, we were promptly given waters, and our server came to get our order. The food came out fast. On the whole, the food is pretty average: chopped salad, a standard bar pretzel with cheese dip, and a plate of nachos. On the plus side the nachos were indeed "loaded" with jalapeños and black olives! We also ordered poutine, fish and chips, and the salmon BLT. Nothing was exceptionally good. But that's to be expected for bar food. The food came out fast and the runners were nice and helpful. My biggest criticism was our server, who was attentive, but also seems perpetually annoyed at any requests we had (salt, ketchup, water refills, etc.). The menu also says that 20% gratuity is applied to all groups of 6 or more. So when she came to have us pay -- with the table-side card reader -- I reminded the person paying. She told me that gratuity was not already included. I told her that the menu said it was. But because we didn't receive any itemized receipt prior to paying all we could see was the total due and an option to add a tip. I asked her to confirm the gratuity wasn't already applied and all she said was "it wasn't." We put in an additional tip, trusting her, and I swear that was truly the only time she was actually nice and smiled. She asked if we wanted a receipt. We said yes but the only thing on the receipt was the total charged to the credit card. So we still have no way of knowing if we had two tips applied to our bill. Overall, it was an average experience. Long wait, average food, end of bill annoyances, and a server who just wanted us to leave so she could turn over the table and go home is why I'm giving it 3 stars.

A great place for really good craft beer ND good food. The staff was awesome! Place is huge but still feels intimate.

On the day I went most recently 1/20/24 they were willing to reseat me so I could be closer to the live music. I hadn't seen live music there before. She was great. However, as for the food... it continues to disappoint since the place was bought out. I miss the old staff, old food, and old layout. My friends and family used to go all the time. Now it's been years.

Terrific beer and great service. Did not try the food but it looked very tasty. Tried three beers (kilt lifter and two IPAs) and were all spectacular. Will be returning here for sure. Skol Vikings!

A fun place with good vibes for some great brews and a variety of pub food. Favorite brew of the evening was Hop Knot IPA. Enjoyed the rich poutine and son liked his burger. Spacious seating indoors and out. Good service.

Came for dinner at recommendation of coworker (I am visiting for work). The service is excellent, even during a very busy dinner rush. Even though it was really busy, we didn't have to wait long. Parking isn't the best - we had to park car away on the street. I ate the P Brie & J which has bacon, brie & peanut butter, and a strawberry basil jam. I wanted more PB&J but it was still good. I think the drink I had was a blueberry lemonade.

Really miss the Hayden Road location. Nothing worth going to in that location now. They had the best burgers around.
