I had the 3-pc fish and chips special. Fish, excellent chips, slaw, Hawaiian roll, a soft drink and two sauces for $7.50. I visited the Tempe location and was surprised at how good the food was and how reasonable the cost considering the amount of chow offered! The fish was excellent and the chips were fantastic and quite different from just about anywhere. The service was great and I'll definitely dine here many times in the future.Dana Slaughter
I was surprised to see a fish and chips restaurant while taking a friend for a burger.... Matty G's was clean fast and fresh! I ordered a four piece with fries a roll and slaw and was overly full after devouring the whole meal I felt like each piece got better the tarter, cocktail, and chipotle mayo tasted fantastic the fries were hot and where like little potato boats delicious! These burgers are amazing!!! I ordered the all star, which comes with two steak burger patties, lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions, appelwood smoked bacon and American cheese. I am a cheese lover and decided to add a couple more slices (cuz you can never have too much cheese). As a side I ordered the fried pickles and garlic fries. It was all such a wonderful combination of flavors, wow! Thank you Matty G's for making such wonderful food! I can't wait to go back.
