Tiny spot close to IKEA! Had never been here before but came cause of the 4.7 stars rating. Didn’t disappoint!!! I had the Fried Tofu for starters, (VERY HOT) be careful, but it’s really good. Their ponzu sauce is great! Then I had their spicy pork bulgogi! SO TENDER! And perfectly balanced! Not too sweet or salty! And the finishing touch was their boom boom Lobster baked roll! IT WAS LITERALLY MY FAVORITE ROLL EVER!!!! Will definitely make the 45 min drive to come back!

We began going here about 3 years ago for our casual date night and continue to do so: He always orders a Sapporo and I always order the "bubbly drink that comes in a pink bottle." Whatever it's called, it's apparently a favorite of most ladies (according to our server tonight). Tonight we ordered tasty miso soup to accompany our edamame appetizer (normally we order the spicy chili version, tonight we ordered it plain--I prefer the chili version bc it's more flavorful). For our main course, we indulged in the baked lobster roll, the R&B roll wrapped in soy paper, spicy soft shell crab roll, and the yellowtail ponzu (yellowtail sashimi topped with jalapeño and tobiko served in a delicate ponzu sauce atop shredded jicama). If I had to omit one, it would be the spicy soft shell crab roll--good enough to try once, but not my favorite. That said, I have never ordered a dish here that I didn't enjoy. If I had to choose a favorite (from tonight, I have too many favorites to list!)--the yellowtail ponzu. Try this place, it will not dissapoint!

C-boy was unlike any sushi roll I’ve had before-definitely worth a try. Also had the Love roll which was okay and the G&G which we liked a lot. Miso soup was one of the best my husband said he’s ever had. Also tried the pork belly fried rice which was pretty good but not amazing by any means.

Great place to go for great food. Was quick and it is pretty quiet which is nice too.
Disappointed…We were near by Sushi n U and were impressed by the review so we took a chance… It was about 630 on Saturday night and the place was filling up. We were pretty excited as we thought it was a good sign…We started with an appetizer and we ordered variety of sushi, sashimi, role and a dish from the dinner menu. Here is what we ordered:- Squid salad - normal.- variety of nigiri: it had a bit of fishy smell. I had worse but it was enough to bother me.- roles: tuna role - again the tuna had a fishy smell. Amigo role - had a saggy crab/avocado on top. It tasted average but presentation was not very appetizing.- dinner dish: we ordered a grilled spicy squid. First didn’t look anything like the photo and the taste was below average.- sashimi: we waited for about 50-60 mins but it still wasn’t ready. By this time, i already lost the appetite and i was worried about the fishy taste, we end up canceling it.Food was ok at best but for how the food tasted and the price, i don’t think it was not a good value.Overall, i dont think there was anything we ordered screaming for us to come in to give second shot.

Good food, excellent chef, fast service. A nice clean place. Good for a strip mall. Was willing to do california cucumber roll. The tempura was perfect and fluffy. Miso soup was flavorful, not too salty. The ginger dressing on the salad was not great however. Would go again for sure. The bench seats need some attention. Our server was quite knowledgeable and assisted us with sushi orders. The sushi was fresh and tasty.
First they forgot to give us the non-sushi dinner menu. Ok, no big deal. But, it gets way worse. When the food came, one roll (K.S. roll) was drenched in vinegar, so much so, I swear I prob could have lit a match with my breath afterwards. It tasted like they'd poured the vinegar from a bunch of rakkyo scallion onions in a jar into it. Waitress claims it's their "ponzu sauce". The other Y.S. roll, was supposed to have yellow tail on top, with mayo, but they'd *ground up* the yellow tail and mixed it so thoroughly with the mayo, all I tasted was mayo. ? Oh, and there was a surcharge at the end of $1.39 that just said "surcharge fee" that the waitress claims is the credit card company and they have no control over it. No warning about that anywhere before-hand. The nigiri was all right. Crab puffs were all right. But I can't see coming back after all that, especially that sneaky surcharge fee, unbelievable.
