Been here twice and first was disappointing just food came out super slow and server didn’t seem to care. Wanted to give it another try and same thing again, took 25 minutes just to get the pirogies, and waited another 20 after that to get our entree. And the entree didn’t even come out correct. We got the wrong dishes after waiting over 40 minutes, and our server just didn’t seem to care. She said that the kitchen said they made them correct, and they can either remake it or just take it off the bill. We were over waiting so long so we just took it off the bill but still paid $40 for albeit good pirogies and overpriced wine a slow kitchen and a server who doesn’t care.Honestly there’s so many other places nearby you can go to where they’ll actually take decent care of you. The Phillys across the street is better than this place.

A small but pleasant establishment. The food is good, but the cocktail are not great. I've been multiple times when they did not have ingredients for featured cocktails. Last time I was there, I asked for a spicy margarita. They had nothing to spice it up except jalepenos from the kitchen. The taste of the drink was not very good.

Ah goodness, what a night. :)First things first: our server was absolutely lovely!! He made our night! Really thoughtful, attentive, and helpful.Alas, everything else was dismal.I ordered a filet mignon, medium rare. After 45 minutes I received an over-well-done steak. The replacement steak (#2) was still raw/ruby red on the inside. The server took it back as well.Steak #3 came out and was identical to steak #2. The server swung by to look at it and was like "Ohhhhhh my god let me take that back again".Steak #4 (I've been sitting at our table for about an hour and a half now....) was okay on the inside but overcooked on the edges (blackened) and just... CHEWY.At this point I figured I'd just like to eat some food so I dug in. :)I started to eat, but as it was so late the staff was already cleaning the floors. And doing so with bleach/Clorox. Oh dear.So as I started to finally eat my dinner... I'm smelling nothing but strong cleaning fumes. Ended up not being able to finish the steak. Ah well, at least I had good company!!So then I receive the check and nothing was comped. We were given $12 off for the night's experience. All this in an atmosphere of a very loud (poor-acoustics) half-bar, half-trying-to-be-nice environment playing loud 90s indie rock. (Good thing I love me some Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins!)I saw the google description saying plates averaged $50 - $100, and came in thinking it would be nicer than bar food/a bar experience. My assumption was incorrect. Instead, we had a funny evening out that we'll remember for a long time, for sure. Thanks again to the server for being a really great sport every time he came by and saw my steaks!

AWWWFULL SERVICE, but great food. It took 1.5 hours to order once seated. Saw the server 1 time the entire visit.. Had to ask to order. The table next to us sat for 2 hrs before they got mad and asked to order. Where are the servers?

I am a disabled Veteran. Stood at host stand for a couple minutes. Asked for a table for 1. Hostess said I could sit at bar. Tables were available. Place wasn’t full. Hostess told me they had no table for me. I don’t recommend this place. Veterans stay away!!!

I've been here a few times, and this last time, I decided to sit at bar, solo. It took a while to get some water, and even longer to order. The dishes missed the mark, especially the chicken entree. The chicken lacked flavor and was pretty chewy. Considering this was supposed to be the star of my meal, it was underwhelming and honestly unenjoyable. I literally took a couple of bites and set it aside. I couldn't believe the taste and texture. I took none of it home. The goat cheese itself was good, but the accompaniments were overwhelmingly sweet, unlike the previous time. The service was surprisingly less than and included long periods of waiting in between. Never asked how my meal was as I'm sure she saw it was barely eaten. This time was disappointing as my first experience was a home run. I was going to say something but felt almost dismissed and unimportant.

My husband and I were just there for early Valentine's Day dinner . He called at 3pm when they opened and asked if we needed reservation if we got there between 4:30 - 5pm. The person on the phone said no , and we should be fine. We got there, and they asked if we had reservation. We said no and told them we called, and the person on the phone said we did not need one. They looked like I made it up but were still able to seat us.I'm not sure why , but the restaurant smelled like crayons or wax. Food portion was pretty big . We liked the stuffed mushrooms appetizer, but the entrées were extremely horrible. I got the ribeyes, and it was very chewy and salty that I couldn't even finish. My husband got the chef's whim (like the Japanese omakase) , and he got a big bowl of seafood that cooked with some types of coconut sauce and served with bread. The coconut flavor didn't go well with the bread, plus It was way too salty even for him. My husband ended up finishing both entrées since he didn't want to waste the food. Also, little gnats were flying around while we were eating. I would definitely not visit this place again.

We booked Peppermill for a work dinner of 16 people (I booked over 2 weeks ago so they had plenty of warning). Before I booked I looked at Peppermill's website and saw pictures online and thought it looked great. Lets just say the website and pictures do it justice. We arrived and sat for about 20 mins until I asked the waitress, who was lovely, if she could take out drinks order. The drinks took forever and when we looked over at the bar the manager/owner was standing chatting and not filling our drinks order. Out of 8 drinks she forgot 2 - which we had to ask for twice. We then had shared starters which were lovely, but that is where the evening went downhill. We sat with empty dirty starter plates in front of us for 25 mins. I asked for the table to be cleared - "Yes, I'm coming" and never did. I eventually cleared the table of 16 people myself and then had to ask 3 times for the stacked dishes to be taken away. Then after waiting another 20 mins I went up to our waitress who was standing (entering our dinner order into the computer) chatting to two other waitress, and asked her if she could take a drinks order. "Yes, I'm coming I am just busy right now" and continued. Not one of the other waitresses stepped in to help. They stood chatting. Again some drinks were forgotten and I had to ask for them. The table was not cleared of empty drink glasses and water glasses were not topped up. I eventually started clearing the table myself. I took the dirty glasses over to the bar and the manager/owner (I assume) just looked at me. (At that point I would have thought she would have asked one of the waitresses to come over and help....NOPE just watched me). Dinner eventually came - 50 mins (ok we were a big table and its' a small kitchen) but no one had cutlery. I asked for cutlery for the table and was told "Yes, I'm coming" (I was so sick of hearing that). Everyone got their meal (except 1) and no one could eat as we sat waiting for cutlery. The Manager/owner brought forks over - UM GREAT can't eat a steak with a fork. We sat for another 10 mins while our waitress found steak knives. I had the duck which was overcooked, , dry, flavorless and ice cold after sitting waiting for cutlery. I never ate it and when the waitress asked I said it was rock hard (over cooked) and ice cold. She said Oh and took it away (it was on the check at the end - not comped). So back to the person that never got their meal....When the manager/owner brought the forks over I said that we were short a meal. She said...."It's coming" and she walked right past the kitchen to the bar and chatted to the waitresses behind the bar. Never checked if the meal was actually coming. after another 10 mins I flagged our waitress and said we are almost finished eating and we are still a meal short. Our waitress went to check and the meal and been completely missed off the order. Now I was fuming as the manager could have had a 10 mins head start on the meal if she bothered to check on the meal! I got the check and they slapped a $245 tip on the end of the check! I suspect that is why the service was below average is because they were taking a tip for the size of the table regardless of the service we got. DO NOT BOOK A GROUP DINNER HERE! They don't care enough to give you an enjoyable evening and the manager/owner could care less what is going on around her. Such a pity as the food was actually very tasty (except the duck). My guys are super chill and easy going but at the end of the evening they said "Please don't ever book this place again". Because the service and attitude was so bad we left and went and had dessert elsewhere as no one wanted to sit in this place any longer than they had to!

Love this place. And so proud of the owners they have really made it for themselves. Food amazing. Service even better. Don’t know how that’s possible but it is. Thanks for the best and yummiest dining experience :))

Just had one of the best steaks ever! Done to perfection, melt in your mouth good. This is the second time I've been here, and they have exceeded expectations both times. Peppermill is my new go to place.

Great atmosphere! the steak, goat cheese and mushrooms are amazing, but everything with chicken was dry and the drinks are pricey. I’d still go back to try the scallops…
