Arrived late on a Saturday night without reservation - given option of patio or bar. Very welcoming hostess, but our server completely forgot about us. Half hearted apology even though he knew we were disappointed. Had planned on buying more drinks and a dessert - left instead. Prime Rib very good - mashed potatoes need a new recipe. Parking terrible - plan on walking a few blocks. Upscale atmosphere, but not necessary to dress that way. From out of town, for a $50 steak I would weigh my options and compare other alternatives.

We ate at Del Rey and ordered the boneless ribeye (cooked medium) and Brussels sprouts. The steak was medium rare and not very tender. It also came out not very hot, which is probably because they allowed it to rest, but I still feel like it was cooler than expected. The beans and tortillas that came with the steak were not warm, but they heated them up when we asked them to. The Brussels sprouts were good, not too oily or over-seasoned. Honestly, I have grilled better steak at home many times.

The steaks were good, the enchiladas were ok, fries were too salty, we had to ask for water more than two times because they wouldn’t refill our glasses. The restaurant is very nice but noisy, we could barely hear whatever the waitress was telling us about fresh sea food in the desert and grass fed cows.

Thank you so much for a creative, loving meal! The mesquite grilled steak with a squeeze of lime accompanied with flambéed shishito peppers was fantastic! The tableside guacamole was delicious. Desserts were good too. I felt like this was a unique spin on a steak house that was so good. Thank you so much!

In town for a few days to enjoy the great spring weather and wanted to see if Charro Steak was as good as advertised. It was!!! Since I was alone I sat at the bar and had the carne asada for diner. My meal was phenomenal and the team behind the bar was super attentive. I will be back again that is for sure.

My experience was terrible. I ordered the lobster fondue and a steak over the phone. The person on the phone mentioned that it came with tortillas, which caught me off guard. Then, the server mentioned that it came with refried beans and rice (neither of which I wanted with my steak). I asked if I could substitute the sides, and the server said YES. She gave me my options. Against my better judgment, I selected the mashed potatoes and asparagus. When I got the bill at the bar, the price was way higher than I expected. What I saw was that she charged me extra for the sides and did not substitute like we discussed over the phone. I was pissed, but just signed the receipt and left. When I started to eat, I noticed the fondue came with pork rinds to dip. It was different, but it was by far the best part of the meal. The steak was bland and not appetizing at all. The mashed potatoes were discusting. I was not creamy and could be cut with a knife and fork to eat. The asparagus was actually not bad. Overall, my experience was bad and I paid almost $100 for my troubles. I wished I had gone with my gut and canceled the order on the phone and went to another restaurant to eat, which was confusing to me because of how good the review rating was online.

We sat at the bar for casual dinner. Big mistake! Staff disappeared as soon as we ordered. Food arrived as expected from the kitchen, but nobody at the bar to take care of us. Food was good, service nonexistent. Thanks but disappointed!

A must! I was in Tucson for work and my fiancé decided to accompany me on the trip. We hit up downtown Tucson and stumbled upon this place. It was a Monday and yet it was still busy. Service was AMAZING and food was really good. So glad we tried it.
