Underrated and understated. This is an absolute must if you’re coming through Tucson. My wife and l always get the Chefs surprise and we’re never disappointed. It has become one of my all time favorite restaurants here in Tucson. I used to go to the Persian Room a lot and I have to say this is way better. I wish I could give this place more than five stars

Omg it's the BEST FOOD I've had in a long time! Absolutely delicious! I had the Gulash and chicken paprika and baklava. They are to die for! Huge portions and also the chef and his wife are the nicest people I've ever met! It's truly a gem in Tucson! I will become a regular guest. Yes, it was THAT GOOD!
Google didn't post my longer, more detailed review for some reason so here's the short version. A friend and myself stopped by for lunch, order Chef Surprise for Two. Show-stopping stack of meats, casserole, rice, and salad arrives and we can't finish it in one sitting. Service was excellent, food was stellar, and I left confused about why it wasn't more packed with customers.Parking: Odd shaped parking lot, very few spaces, but most open due to low traffic.

Food was excellent. I had the goulash and my husband and son had the beef with mushrooms. They were both superb. We also tried all three deserts. The baklava was the best I ever had. The shortbread dessert was awesome, and the baked apple was refreshing. None of them were to sweet but just right. We will become regulars.

Waitress and waiter sucked. Both had attitudes and the service was lacking in every way. If I wanted attitudes I could have stayed home and enjoyed my teenage grandkids attitudes. The food was supposed to be fresh, it wasn’t. The bread was stale and made with rancid oil, no butter could be found to go with the bread. The salads didn’t come out first they came out after the food was brought out. There was no order in the way it was brought out and it was just warmed up from a premade batch. My mother could do a better job of making it, and she’s a bad cook. Won’t be back and won’t recommend this establishment to anyone.
I’ve moved to Tucson about 7 months ago and finally found my favorite restaurant and it is halal. I tried the Bosnian Style Goulash and it was absolutely delicious. The servers are kind. The portion size was three times what I would eat.

We started our lunch with the Bosnian Style Tzatziki and Ajvar and it was amazing. The red pepper really comes through. For our mains we had the Bosnian Style Goulash and Bosnian Meat Balls. Both were great, however the meatballs had a more intense flavor profile that made it stand out in my mind. This restaurant was all around amazing. Highly Recommend!

They put all their info on the DoorDash Storefront website, but they don’t honor it, and won’t refund it. They should be removed from DoorDash and other ordering platforms if they won’t honor the order. DoorDash support even said, they’re listed and active, so it’s their problem, not ours.
