From living in a big city to moving to Tucson I know a bit about food. They are overpriced for the quality and the taste isn't always the best. Not my favorite but not the worst.
When I think of Downtown Tucson I think of the Hubs cheeseburger and ice cream! I've been coming here for over 5 years. It's a Great place for a date night or even a cute place to dine alone and catch up on a book. I love the The Hub
This place is definitely great however the menu doesn't speak to me as much as it may speak to others but their food is still great! However their steak is amazing and I loved their mashed potatoes so I was definitely still VERY pleased with my meal!!
I went last night with two friends for a quick bite and drinks before n event at the FOX Theater. My friends and I were very disappointed with our experience. The only positive comment would be the staff was friendly Pinot Noir was served chilled! Calamari were plain and tasteless, and our main courses were not any better! Fries are not seasoned... etc etc... It is very disappointing to have a business in such a great location downtown Tucson and serve tasteless and simply bad food. I m a foodie and I m sorry to say I have absolutely no good thing to say about this place..... please, please, please, make an effort and step up with your food and wine! Red wine, if serve from a Keg, should not be served chilled! Downtown Tucson deserve better than what your business currently offer!
I love this place it's in the heart of downtown of Tucson amazing staff amazing food it's worth the wait and it's worth the price also LBGTQ friendly!!
I have not been to the HUB Restaurant in a very long time. I recommend calling to make a reservation as it gets very busy on the weekend. I went here on Friday during Sonoran Restaurant Week. It was a 3-course prix fixe menu. For the first course, I chose the fried calamari (but other choices also looked good). It was good, not too chewy. Second course, I chose the Shrimp Elote Pasta which was amazing. Our server recommended to order it next time as employees do with cilantro rice. The third course is of course ice cream!! This was all for $35, which is a great value. Our server was exceptional. My husband chose the bbq pork belly which was also very good. The bar also has nice signature cocktails if you have to wait for a table (outdoor seating available).
I was flying into Tucson and needed to order lunch for a group of 12. Although I couldn't order in advance, I was able to place the order at 11am (when they opened) for pick-up at 11:30am. The staff made the process very easy. The food was delicious. I had the Banh-mi, and several of my coworkers tried different items on the menu and said it was excellent. The take-out order was not where my experience ended. I realized as I was at the airport later that day that I had left my card. I called and spoke to someone at the restaurant who knew exactly who I was and offered to shred or mail me my card. She followed-through mailing the card and I received it within a few days. I will definitely be returning next time I'm in Tucson.
HUB Restaurant had fantastic food, and great service.HUB Ice Creamery had terrible service. Went for shakes that they don't offer at the restaurant. Stood in line for over 15 minutes while the sole employee talked to friends. Two other parties left, then my party left, never getting served.
Great food and drinks! Covid-19 safety precautions are being used among staff and in the seating areas. Delicios menu options and some of the best Mac & Cheese options as well as must try cheese curds.
Cool little spot. The service was great and so was the food. The Prime fries hit the spot!
My mom and I had lunch there today. We both ordered the Turkey BLT and loved it. The food was great, the service even better.
Ok ok. This is now a downtown staple. Best tots. Never went back for brunch again but definitely an AWESOME lunch place. Good place for drinks and ice cream.
I used to come here in college (6 years ago WHAT?!) and when we were dropping my brother off recently, my fam revisited the HUB. We came for the cheese curds (don't miss out), stayed for everything else. My mom and I split the elote pasta, which was a party.
Love the chicken pot pie! My son loved his cheese burger fries and dessert was campfire s'more ice cream! Delicious food and awesome employees. A smile goes a long way now a days
Great place for dinner before the show ?
