Had a delicious meal with wonderful service from Ella. Mentioned it was my mom’s 100 th birthday and what fun! Party hats for the table, singing, noise makers, dessert. What a wonderful memory! Btw, best food we had in Tucson!
This place is a literal hole in the wall! Sagging ceiling tiles, mis-matched furniture, vinyl table covers. Don't let that fool you!The food is beyond description! I had the three amigos tacos (chicken) totally loaded street tacos with rice and beans. The chips were so fresh! The salsa bar had 7 or 8 different salsas. Then...there was the margaritas! Holy cow! Hubby quote "I want to go back to that place" says it all. I can't tell you the last time he said that about any kind of restaurant. We were in Tucson for an appointment and decided to Google "Mexican Cantina". Google sent us here. It looked a bit sketcy on the outside, but we decided to try it because some of the best Mexican food comes from sketchy looking places. It was a wonderful surprise.
