I walked into this establishment and witnessed at least two people working without face coverings, one of whom I think was the owner. One would think that with the pandemic so out of control even the President tested positive for it, people would start to take the pandemic seriously. But not this establishment.

Jay, the owner, is very friendly and down to earth. I got a custom sub done, and I gotta say it was pretty bee's knees. Went great with my drink, and between the banter and great taste, an hour had flown by. If you like a meal and good conversation, this is the place to be.

The hours posted here an online are not accurate. They are open until 5 pm daily. You will only know this after you try to order online, and after you call the number they tell you to call, and after you hear the actual recording that says they close at "around 5 pm" everyday. Need to update the google hours and stop lying on the website.

PJ's has a sub called The Bully. It is delicious and I highly recommend it for anyone who has a large appetite and likes great tasting hot sub style sandwiches.

my friend had an outstanding sub called "The Original Bully," he said there were flavors he's never had before that he really liked. I had an excellent chicken parmigian sub that totally hit the spot. Great spot to go before U of A games!

PJ subs is one of my favorite casual spots in town. The sandwiches are solid, the drinks are cold, and the atmosphere is inviting, and FAR from pretentious. Better still, the prices for in well, they're reasonable.

Here in Tucson for work and decided to try PJ's. I got the Chicken Parm sub and onion rings. Portion size is great between the sub and how many onion rings that came in an order I couldn't finish the whole meal. The gentlemen working were kind and engaging even though I had ordered online for carry out. Speaking of this I recommend ordering through their website rather than Eatstreet. This will make sure the establishment doesn't take a 20% hit. Highly recommend checking out this local establishment.
