I made a reservation to take my grandmother here for her 84th birthday. Building was beautiful, views amazing. Our waiter was so awesome. So gentle with my grandmother, made her feel very special and made sure she was the center of attention. The food was amazing and the waiter gave great recommendations on food to try for the first time... The only downside I would say is that the inside dining is so loud. The tables were so close together and other parties enjoying their night became overwhelming. You could barely hear the person next to you talking. That is the ONLY downside... maybe space the tables apart more or separate the large tables from the smaller tables for help with the noise because it was difficult. But I'm giving 5 stars because the food and the waiter made our visit wonderful.
Vivace's is an Amazing restaurant. The ambiance, food and view are incredible. Jackie was our server and to talk about perfect in every way, would be an understatement. Jackie must make every dining experience a fabulous memory. I hope Vivace's appreciates the gem they have as an employee with Jackie. If I owned a business I'd steel her away in a heart beat. Vivace you've got it going on in a perfect way.
After a long day of driving to Arizona from San Diego my boyfriend and I were most looking forward to eating dinner for our friend Blake's birthday. We were planning on going somewhere else however they ended up being very unaccommodating which led us looking and we found Vivace! When we arrived the entrance was very welcoming, the gates and architecture is truly comforting. Atmosphere is (almost) everything! Entering the restaurant, there's a gentleman that opens the door for you which leads you to the hostess. She was sweet and sat us right away even though we were a few minutes early for our reservation. Normally I'm a tad picky when it comes to seating- I like Feng shui and to be a certain place but all the tables seemed to be nice :) there are plenty of windows which have a beautiful view of all the twinkling lights of AZ! I was right away intrigued by the menu, everything looked unique but classic in its own way and all sounded like something I would order. I am a picky girl! But I also know what's good. So I was very pleased by the options. The four of us ordered drinks our wonderful server Omid recommended. All four of us were very satisfied with his recommendations. Each of us really enjoyed all of our apps, entrees, drinks, and on top of that a birthday dessert to top off the night. I highly recommend requesting Omid. He's a genuinely good server and I would come here to eat with him again although I do not live here! Thank you for making our first night with family in a long time one to remember (and offering taking photos when you saw me holding my phone, we love them) . I cannot recommend this place more and can't remember having a night of dinner this perfect. Seriously satisfied. Thank you times 1 million. Ordered: (2) beers: Hazey IPA & Stella (both draft) Wine by the glass: Pinot Grigio jermann & Austin Cabernet - my new favorite red wine. The wines by the glass are very generous! Perfect amount for a nice dinner and talk with friends. Appetizer: mussels in white wine sauce (I don't eat mussels but give me a straw for this sauce because WOW!!!) Birthday boys entree: chicken asparagus risotto Entree #2: vegan Bolognese (best vegan pasta ever!) Entree #3: linguine with salmon (the salmon was so fresh and perfectly grilled) Entree #4: AKA mine! The four cheese pasta on the top of the menu.. even though I was so stuffed when I got home I had to heat up my leftovers and eat them before tomorrow ! The tiramisu birthday dessert was elegant, light and a perfect end of the day. It's my first time eating out in Arizona and I was highly satisfied, thank you!
One of my favorite restaurants. First time takeout. Packed well. Lots of fresh bread.
I love the ambiance at Vivace. The food is absolutely delicious and several of the menu items taste exactly like an Italian grandmother made them for you! Drinks are on point. Definitely a spot to have a nice dinner or date when you're craving legitimate Italian from a local restaurant!
OMG, we went to Vivace's last night for an early anniversary celebration dinner (36 years). Everything was SOOOOO enjoyable. We had a 5:30pm reservation and didn't leave the restaurant till almost 9pm. Our waitress, Jameela, was awesome! She was on top of it and she didn't rush us out at all. We took our time and really enjoyed our meals and each other's company. Very, very good & memorable experience. Great ambiance, food was exceptional...chose a delicious bottle of vino - Masi Bonacosta Volpolicella Classico. I had the manicotti and the husband had the seafood lasagnette...both were exceptional. We brought home leftovers...big portions, I'd say. Can't wait to visit again. Next time I'd like to request a table along the window to enjoy the beautiful view. All in all, what a wonderful evening.
Excellent food and beautiful mountain views! Their vegan Bolognese is vegan as is. The Italian Style Vegetarian Burger can be made vegan if you ask for their house-made vegan cheese. My husband loved his burger and was impressed with the portion sizes. We had a wonderful experience. Call and make a reservation!
I try to sit in the lower level by the windows. Excellent views. Service is excellent and the fish specials our 5 star.
Since it's a little pricey to have a nice meal at Vivace, we usually go when we have a special occasion or out-of-town guests. But their food is so delicious, from the freshly baked bread to the great vegetable pasta side dish to the wonderful sorbet. My husband loves the pork parmesan as well as several pasta dishes. I prefer the beef tenderloin with it's fabulous sauce. We were given our choice of tables, which we appreciated...probably because it was a weeknight and not totally full. The staff was just great, but could have refilled the water more often.
I had a wonderful lunch date with two other female friends. They were very happy with their meals. I however, was not blown over with the salmon over the pasta. I think it was suppose to be linguini, and it was spaghettis. I would have preferred the seafood soup over the linguini. I would just prefer shrimp or mixed seafood in a light sauce over linguini or fettuccini. The other issue, was masks. No one was wearing a mask. No wait staff, no servers, no guests. With the delta variant going around, all restaurants should be requiring masks again. I love Vivace and have been there many times, in this new location and in St. Phillips Plaza. The ambiance and atmosphere are wonderful.
Always great food and service.
Delightful, as always, with our server, David going out of his way for us, keeping the coffee flowing and cheerfully providing helpful suggestions. Vivace is simply a truly fine, great restaurant run right. Here, the meals are characterized by thoughtfulness as well as attention to detail. My friend and I look forward to having lunch here almost every Wednesday. We always take home leftovers as well as take out meals which are requested by our wives. The waitstaff and kitchen crew are just great about doing their best to tailor takeout to meet specific requests for modifications preferred by our ladies. While many establishments have a “no substitutions” policy, here they ask: “How can we make it special for you?” Clearly, the staff at Vivace recognizes the value of sincere, helpful, attentiveness in providing for their patrons. That takes hard work, which we truly appreciate and tip accordingly. No wonder, we’ll be back, and bring friends!
Absolutely amazing, as always. The table ordered the penne with sausage, seafood soup, stuffed pork chop, king salmon and linguine and the stuffed chicken. Everything was phenomenal and so was the wine and service.
We dine at Vivace approximately four or five times annually and it has always been a outstanding experience. The ambiance and the service are par excelante and the food and menu are superb. Keep up the excellent work. From our perspective, Vivace is the best restaurant in all of the greater Tucson area.
Food and views are excellent. Plenty of options on the menu. Everything we've tried had been good. The atmosphere is a little loud so probably not the place for a quiet conversation with dinner.
