Big problem when we got our check, they ran our card for $40+ when it should've been less than $20. We told the hostess who then got our server. Oops, let me refigure that. Server comes up with $28? No still wrong, how about $20? Server said, sorry it's been a long day and charges us $24. Fine we paid $24 but we won't be back. It felt like they were being deceitful on purpose. Now about our food ... Our meals were ok but nothing to brag about. We got a senior meal with 2 beef enchiladas ($12.99) and an ala carte folded taco and cheese enchiladas. We were surprised at the presentation of our meals. They looked thrown together and sloppy. The beef had no flavor and was tough. No lettuce in the taco, it was dressed like a street taco and deep fried. To many competing Mexican restaurants in Yuma that are outstanding with food, service and integrity.

Visited 2/20/2024 Nice little local favorite Mexican Restaurant. Nice ambience lots of inside seating. Service was friendly by a staff that looked like they have been there for many years. Food was good from what we tried. The Goat Birria was rich in flavor and generous in serving size. The Beef Chimichanga had a fantastic Shredded Beef flavored. The Beef Flantas were also excellent. The Chile Relleno was tasty and worth a try. The beans and rice were average but still tasty. All in All this place is not bad.

I ordered beef enchiladas that were excellent! My husband on the other hand ordered a ground beef burrito that was horrible. The ground beef was hard (as if it had been on the grill all day) and that was the ONLY THING in the tortilla! No beans, no cheese, NOTHING! And it was cold!! We sent it back and they tried to dress it up better but that beef was the killer. The waitress was great and very apologetic. We paid for our meal and left. We even left a tip because it was the waitress’s fault. Ouch. Won’t be going back.

Been going here for years. Some changes, smaller size ( we are suppose to not notice) and more money. Servers are very kind. Need to do a little sprucing up. The food is always good.

Bright harsh lights, hour wait while not busy for the worst fajitas I've ever received. Dry, burnt chicken, uncooked peppers, minimal onions, no mushrooms while offered on the menu, terrible.

It was an alright place to eat. The food does take a while to come out though, and they have a sign that tells you that. 30-45 minute wait on busy nights. The best part for me was when I ordered my birria torta, he asked if I wanted that to be beef or goat? Whoa!!!! Goat please!!!The food is on the pricier side though, not quite sure why.

I'm not sure how the food is, but the service was the worst. My wife and I decided to try them out for our date night Friday's and was seated fast, but that was it ? They NEVER came back and as I watched all the other tables that came in after us for about 10 to 20 minutes getting drinks even the manager was helping the server out by getting drinks and order taken by another waiters. As I watched the table around us get their drinks by the manager and he even walked by us 4 or more time's and then the waiter comes and took their order but still not even a hello ? I took in to mind maybe their short handed or something and didn't want to be inpatient so we waited ? and waited and waited and still no one or even a welcome or we will be with you. Finally after watching all the tables that came in after us started getting their food that's when we got up and started to leave so I ask one of the waiters that I watched taking the drink order for the table of 4 behind us that came in after us was the manager as he told me. I told him of the problem of the lack of service ( NO SERVER ) and looked at me and said he would find out why and maybe their was a misunderstanding by the the servers who's table it was ? I told him I may understand that but yet I watched him welcome other tables and even get their drinks and walk pass our table many times with out even saying hello or welcome. The problem is I understand if maybe there was a misunderstanding but the manager should have seen this and stop by and say welcome and someone will be with us shortly. So we left and crossed the street to try The Crossing bar and grill and had some great service, drinks, and food so for us it turned out good. The food looked good at Mi Rancho but we was never given the chance to try it thanks to the lack of management. With a little retraining and some leadership this place may or may not be good next time. Management should be watching what's going on and notice any table lacking service or notice " why does that table still have menus on their table after 25 minutes ? ?.
We usually go with a group of about 8 or 10, and it is always comfortable and fun. One of our favorite haunts.Vegetarian options: Like every Mexican restaurant, they have cheese & bean-based menu items that are vegetarian friendly. Unfortunately they put lard in the refried beans, so my wife and I always get the whole beans. Cheese enchilada or chile relleño with beans and rice makes a damn fine vegetarian supper.Parking: If you are handicapped it's better to park on the street if you can find a spot near the entrance, since the handicapped spaces in the lot are usually taken and they are cramped and cumbersome to get in and out of in any case. Often my wife lets me out near the front before looking for a spot.
Service was great food mediocre. My husband said hid food was good but he'll eat about anything when he's hungry. I just can do dry chicken in a restaurant when brining is cheap and easy.

Everything was great, except the hostess and our server were inattentive.Wheelchair accessibility: There was no sign on the door where you are supposed to enter.
