“I will rate at 5 stars as the place was clean, renovated, great service and the tables not as crowded. And the most important part the food was delicious. Pizza was great from the oven, freshly made salad and wine selection it's pretty good. Stayed a bit late and the crew was very polite to te greet us when we left.“
“Located at the top of Burnaby Mountain, I believe they were recently rebranded/renovated. They offer a very reasonably priced $40 for 3 courses or $65 for 5 courses. The website does mention they only take reservations so do be mindful of that! They had a la carte available at the time as well, but the value is way better with the set menus. We tried the 5 courses (Starter + Sushi Roll (4pc) + Soup OR Salad + Entree + Dessert) as a part of Dine Out Vancouver this year but it seems they have extended their offering for the next little while. Inside is dimly lit giving a romantic vibe!We went as a group of 4 and this is what we tried:Starters: Ahi Tuna Tartare, Hamachi CarpaccioSushi Roll: Salmon Roll (sockeye salmon, cucumber, avocado), Crab Roll (fresh crab, avocado, cucumber)Soup: Lobster Bisque (with lobster chunks and garlic toast.. mmm)Entree: Surf & Turf (8oz NY Steak with choice of 3oz lobster tail or 2 scallops), Miso-Glazed Sable FishDessert: Chocolate Souffle with vanilla bean gelato and fresh berriesDrinks: Recommend the Shanghai Fizz (2oz - $15) - gin, lychee liqueur, pineapple juice, ginger ale. They also had a good variety of mocktails as well. The seafood in the starters/sushi rolls were good quality and fresh tasting. Portions were very very generous, and everything was tastier than I expected! The presentation was lovely. Even just the Surf & Turf itself would be charged for much more at similar establishments. I would definitely return for a special occasion/date night!“
“I love this trendy little Italian spot. The service is outstanding and the food is delicious. It's a bit pricey but dining out is at a premium anywhere you go now. I'll save this for my special occasion outings. I highly recommend La Forchetta!“
“We went to L'Artista this weekend for my birthday dinner. AMAZING! How have I never been here?? I got the gnocchi with rose sauce - fabulous. Like little pillows of love! Cannot recommend this place enough.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible but would be challenging as crowded.“
“I recently stopped at Pizza Hut for dinner and had an amazing time. A comfortable atmosphere was fostered by the friendly employees, and the menu featured a wide selection of delicious pizzas. The restaurant was extremely tidy and the service was attentive. Overall, Pizza Hut exceeded my expectations thanks to its delicious cuisine, outstanding service, and cozy atmosphere. I'll be back for more for sure!“
“Great selection of lunch and to-go meals. Third time I’ve had the short rib sandwich with sun dried tomatoes and onions, and I have to say, it really hits the spot when you’re hungry. Great sandwiches and at a decent price considering that lunch meals cost about 15-20$ these days. I’ve also had the porchetta sandwich before and it was really delicious as well as the gnocchi in the counter. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quick snack in the Hastings area. The Short Rib sandwich is my recommendation.Vegetarian options: Many options“
“The food was really good and it was a good quantity, I had to take home almost half of my plate. I had to wait in a line for almost 30 minutes. The food takes around another 20-30 min to be ready after ordering. The only bad thing is the service. It wasn’t the best as my waitress was mad because the tip wasn’t enough according to her.“
“Claudio's is an amazing little gem of a restaurant. Been here twice now -- most recently for my birthday. The food is fantastic and the service is always top notch and friendly. Their focaccia bread is awesome and I highly recommend you save room for the Tiramisu.“
“One of the best view of Vancouver East from this restaurant! I love the seating, ambience and the view was the highlight. The pasta was amazing, and done perfectly. Protein dishes were great, just need a little bit more flavour. Staff were great, attentive and readily available when you need them. Overall, I'll come back again for the pastas and the view ?“
“We ordered ahead and picked up the pizza, it was ready when we got there... nice and hot! Great service and when we got home and looked at the food, great presentation, fresh and was sooooo good!! I highly recommend this if you want good pizza... and the sesame seeds on the crust are “
“Really great concept of having a completely personalized pasta with exactly just the ingredients that you want in it. Very big portions and generous amounts of unlimited ingredients. The are many varieties of pastas and ingredients to choose from. I also appreciate the service here, the employees and manager are kind, patient and reasonable.“
“Organized a retirement dinner for 30 people. Everyone at Trattoria Burnaby was so accommodating. Had organized a few things with the manager, Carmela via email beforehand. The food and service was wonderful and I'm sure there'll be many return customers.“
“We have been here 2 times now after our kids play sports. They are very accommodating each time getting us in. Prices, quality and size are amazing. So many great options at very fair prices. Our server both times was so great with 0 mistakes on orders and biling. This will be a regular spot for me from now on.“
“What a hidden gem. Found it on Google and when we pulled up outside, I questioned it. But the food is excellent ? And the service was great too. Good quality breakfasts and delicious coffee. The bread tasted homemade, and the sausage was worth the upgrade. Also note, the bathroom is a Dr Who Tardis. Amazing. And there were board games to play while you waited (not for long) for food. A great spot that I'll make time for during my next Vancouver visit“
