First time we had been here. Service was very good. However it was cold, inside and they kept the outside door open and we were just freezing. We had the fry bread with hummus, which was fair, the coconut shrimp was rubbery, and the chowder was cold, albeit it was full of seafood. The carrot cake was however amazing. It would have been nice to have some offerings like fish tacos, or a fish burger on the menu.Beautiful place but probably would not return.

Love this cafe in a quaint setting of Genoa Bay. The calamari are the best I ever tried!

Visited here once, it was one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. There is a casual vibe but the food is the best classic seafood you can find anywhere. The location is perfect, there's a stunning view of the marina, bay, and forested cliffs surrounding the cafe. Will be returning as soon as I can. If you're looking for the best West Coast Dining experience around, this is it.

I absolutely adore this cafe usually but for some reason our experience last evening was two-star. Coconut prawns were so overcooked that I couldn’t taste the coconut and the prawns were like rubber. We all ordered Caesar Salad. It had no seasoning, (garlic, lemon or pepper) and usually it is served with fresh Parmesan but it was powdered Parmesan. Because it is Christmas, I ordered a rum and eggnog but they didn’t have any eggnog. Because I was with six people that I was meeting for the first time I did not want to make a scene about my dinner. Maybe it was just a one off…..I’m hoping because I love this place.

Great food. Nice cozy atmosphere. Went at dark so didn't get the cool views but I knew they were there. Service was top notch, possibly the best service I've ever had. Can't wait to go back.

This bay is wildly beautiful and the cafe is incredible. Cozy romantic vibe, excellent service and incredible food. I highly recommend the pork belly bowl. The texture of the pork is out of this world.

I was here a few weeks ago, and must say it is one of the most welcoming stops on the island. Food was fantastic and the owners make you feel at home. I strongly suggest a visit, and don't forget to say yes to the carrot cake!

Had a fantastic dish here in one of the Top Ten Hidden Gems of Vancouver Island BC. The meat was falling-off-the-fork tenderness perfection. The location is blissfully peaceful with full view of the marina. Service was top notch. Can't recommend this place enough!Wheelchair accessibility: ramps for ease of access

The two servers were so nice; the lady we had was so wonderfully kind. All of our food was great - jambalaya, pork belly bowl, beet salad - everything was yummy. The pork belly itself was a bit tough but it was a great healthy option. The Caesars were delicious and the drinks cold! The view is nice of the marina and mountains.Kid-friendliness: The kids menu is on par with most restaurants. The kids burger was huge and the fries are yummy.Wheelchair accessibility: We had one person in our party in a motorized scooter who was accommodated very well. The building has a ramp.
