“In Kamloops for a hockey tournament and needed somewhere to watch the Packers game - found this gem! Service was super attentive and friendly and atmosphere was laid-back, cozy, and welcoming. Food was speedy and very tasty! Definitely recommend for a friend hang, casual date-night, family dinner, or to catch a sports game (lots of tvs to cover all angles ?).. it’ll definitely be a new go-to for us whenever we’re in town - especially if there’s a game on - Go Pack Go!Dietary restrictions: I have a garlic and onion allergy and there were lots of items on the menu I could have chosen from with an easy omission mod. “Not a great experience. We wanted to have a quick meal and leave but looked like they were short on staff. Waited for a long time to get the food order and the bill. I had to keep on going to the host desk to get hold of someone to pay the bill or take the order.“
“I chose here to have my mom's celebration of life because my mom worked here back in the 70s-80s as a server and she didn't want anything fancy. The owners and servers were amazing they even made a drink special that day named after my mother ❤️ they were so accommodating and I couldn't have been happier with them especially on such a difficult day. “This place is awesome!!It is great for a birthday ...unless you don't know about their policy, then you have to be a member of their online membership ..for more than 48..or was it 72 hours..!??Lol. Anyway..we (my bf and I) went out for his bday.. and were informed that we couldn't get his dinner for free because of this!Lol. But..you can do it at any time during the month of your bday!!So..all in all..its a great place for eating !And the staff are fairly attentive to you..although ..not entirely!Hahaha..but that's alright..they were very kind!And the atmosphere is very upbeat!Parking: The parking is pretty good..although it can get pretty crowded at times..but there's usually always a spot for you!Kid-friendliness: There's lots of friendly waiters and waitresses ready to dote on your little ones!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes..it is wheelchair accessible.“
“Food was great - loved the wings and the outdoor deck was great!! Manager and staff very accomodating with our late check in. Despite kitchen/bar being closed, they still served us a round of drinks and one full order from the menu! Noisy by the road but so nice to enjoy the warm summer temps on the deck!!!“
“Normally this is my GO to fast food.. and usually the staff are amazing. Ask for no mayo.. most of the time get the order accurate. Normal fast food glitches.. however... Tuesday of this week we popped through the drive through as just after 12pm. The customer ahead of me paid with a 50$ bill (ignoring the 'card only' sign due to Covid). The lady at the till had a glove on her right hand only.. Proceeded to handle the cash, count out change and hand back to customer.. (still with that same glove, handed customer food, alternating between her touch screen and keyboard. scratching her face.. (wearing a mask).... I got to the window (paying with tap).. she proceeded to grab our orders.. handed us cups and straws and other goods.. ALL with that same one glove and one bare hand. We parked and ate. I watched her go through 7 cars before she took an order outside.. then removed that one glove and put a fresh one on.. No hand sanitizer, no glove swap.. no changing gloves after handling cash even.. THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED.“
“A&W drive thru is always quick and accurate. The staff were very lovely to speak to and I never had an issue with my order. When you go to the window where you see them always smiling. I can see there are so many seniors enjoying their breakfast inside. A man who was working at the counter, moving around and serving coffee to seniors which was lovely to see that.“
“I went today with few friends since weather was so good. They finally opened the patio and we had so much fun.Cocktails were on point, service was great, and food was phenomenal! We got the pork belly and the brisket and it was so good. It took a little bit of wait since restaurant was full but it was totally worth it. Overall we had a really great time. Totally coming back“
“We went for the seafood platter for 2 tonight. I love seafood and find it overcooked all the time? seriously if I wanted to eat rubber, I can do that in my own kitchen?BUT the Sandbars calamari was second to none! Absolutely delicious ? I've never been able to eat an entire piece anywhere in my 48yrs...even so called fresh calamari in Victoria ? I just couldn't get enough!! You can taste the seasoning, the light breading, and the succulent calamari itself!! I now have a new favourite food!??“
“I never EVER write reviews but I need to give credit where it’s due. Was just here today (Friday March 8th) at the Sahali location. Around 1pm with my 3 year old. Our server I believe was Ken(I could be wrong but that’s what my reciept says). He was hands down one of the best servers I’ve ever had in a restaurant. He was very kind to my daughter, and just had such a positive, friendly and happy demeanor . I overheard him talking with other customers too and it’s just so refreshing to see someone who genuinely loves their job and is putting out positivity and kindness into the world. Ken, if you see this. YOU ROCK. And you deserve a raise ?“
“Ordered my sons 1st and 2nd birthday cakes from here. we just bought the second one on Saturday and the dinosaur was so well done by hand in frosting. So much little details that really made the cake look so good. Super happy. Highly recommend and thank you so much to whoever spent so much time and effort on my sons cake.“
“We were lucky enough to have a table next to the fireplace.The soup of the day (cream of mushrooms and goat cheese) is delicious!Next, my meal (the chicken burger) was divine! A generous breast in an oat-based breading, on coleslaw with a side of Kale, corn and red cabbage salad. Just wow!! We finished it off by sharing a cheesecake. With a coulis of cherries poached in red wine on an oat and cocoa crust! A menu with many gluten free options. Obviously, accompanied by a BC wine (white from the Le Cosselet vineyard). The pizza (second main course) was also excellent. A homemade dough, with good ingredients and an innovation in the sauce with a little honey.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free!Without monosodium glutamate (MSG)Parking: On the street but free.“
