My partner and I were looking for somewhere new for us to eat as we tend to go to the same two places. We took to Google and found Broken Hill. The reviews were excellent… except one. We read the review and laughed then read the owner’s response and decided we HAD to try it.The food was excellent. Tasty, filling, and in today’s pricing, very good value. We had the duck wings, brisket, and brisket Mac. 10/10 would go again. Thank you for the great service Amanda, and others, can’t wait to come and try everything else!

We went today to hip hop brunch we had a brunette girl server only girl there today she seemed not happy to be there and we heard her talking about us to the bartender as we were at our booth, we asked specifically if the brown gravy in the poutine is or could be gluten free and she said yes without hesitating and we got very excited and ordered it, we are now going back to our hotel room with my cousin having rashes all over her face and body. Instead of walking around Nelson on spring break. You can’t just guess when explaining gluten allergies that’s super dangerous. We had a good night last night there, but this girl today ruined the restaurant for us for forever 3/24/24. If this would have been bread and not just gravy would could be in the hospital. Do better

We went here after our hike to grab some lunch and omg we had an absolute blast!!Food was amazing I got a duck salad and my boyfriend got an American style western burger!!Their drink menu was also interesting and had some funny names?The salad was a great portion and the burger was the right amount of food and so far this was one of the best burgers me and my boyfriend tasted!!!!Staff were also great!!Very clean place and in a great area

We were excited to go out for the evening and it was so loud we couldn't hear each other talk they had a one-man band.
We eventually just started texting each other.
My partner's food was wonderful he enjoyed it very much
I ordered a non-alcoholic Caesar , I got the Caesar with the booze in it....
I ordered the hot mess,
It was a mess the coleslaw that they topped the brisket with was very bitter and ruined the meal.
Our friend ordered fries and got fries with gravy he doesn't eat gravy on anything he doesn't like gravy...

Consistently great food and service, you can tell that a lot of work goes into curating an environment that makes the customers feel at ease. The drinks are unreal, and even as a vegetarian the food options are delicious. I’ll be dreaming of the smoked cauliflower Mac & cheese until I can visit again!

Love the big tables at the back - room for our group of 14. Lots of great BBQ options and had a fabulous cocktail (marshmallow, yummm). Would go back, not the cheapest but that’s ok.
