I was so excited to find a Filipino place on the North Shore. No longer have to cross the bridge for Filipino grub! This is a tiny store run by a couple. Very charming and personal service. It seems they have regulars who know them well. First of all I'm very excited they have breakfast items every day. I ordered a sweet pork (To Si-Log) with fried egg and garlic rice. Food was very tasty. We had the beef stew, mung bean, and half chicken?? Only reason for three stars on atmosphere is that it is small and setup mostly for takeout. So happy to have stumbled in this place as it is not easy to find Filipino food?

Alloz Grill may just be the single best place to get brunch in Vancouver. The place is run by a very wholesome filipino couple that clearly knows how to do things right.
