“Sort answer 100% best Szechuan (probably all Chinese) resteraunt In BCGrowing up in greater Van with parents who came from the prairies we grew up eating ethnic food whenever possible. Our go to Chinese was On On Tea Gardens on Leefer till the day they closed. I spent every opportunity to find another great Chinese place to replace it. We found Wah Wing essentially in our back yard when they first opened over 24 years ago and we have been driving out from Abbotsford for the last 20 years.Wonton with Red Pepper & Peanut Sauce and Pan Fried Yee Mein are two excellent dishes you just don't find many places.Ginger Beef with Chilli is honestly the best ginger beef you have ever had.Going back again this Friday for my daughters choice of 24th birthday dinner, she has been going her whole life. Will take more pictures (don't tell them I was there on Sunday without them ;)“
“There's not much that I could say other than this place is an absolute hidden gem. I had passed by this place several times on different occasions and never went it. I finally decided to try it out and wow, incredible. The restaurant is big and clean. The food is just amazing. Fresh assorted seafood (live lobster, king crab, clams). Friendly staff and great customer service. Second time going in and will be a repeat customer for years to come. I 100% recommend this restaurant.“
“This place has really amazing dumplings. Their soup dumplings, as well as they’re hot and sour soup with dumplings in it or two of my favourites and I always over eat when I go here because I just can’t decide between the two. Highly recommend. 10 out of 10 for the food.“
“Been getting food from this joint a few times in the last few months, haven't been disappointed so far! Always fresh and delicious, much better food than other big trendy Chinese restaurants and for much cheaper. Definitely a must to try.“
“Obviously the main appeal is the fact that these lunatics close at 12- that’s something I can appreciate. Another thing I can appreciate is the mabu dofu (I think they list it as “mapu tofu”? Not 100% sure). It’s great if you love spicy stuff. If you want it salty then add kikkoman soy sauce. The service and atmosphere are hospitable. I came by with my American Akita at around 11:30, waited outside, and the waitress who was terrified of dogs gave a good faith effort to serve me outside for takeout.“
“Got to know about this lovely little diner during the height of the pandemic and haven’t stopped patronizing them since then. Have always phoned in for pick-ups and the staff is always knowledgable and friendly and their food fresh and delicious. Their spring rolls are the best we’ve ever tasted. Better yet, they come free when we order above a certain amount. Reasonably-priced and conveniently-situated, this restaurant is our top pick whenever we wish to indulge in some authentic Chinese food.“
