“This place is amazing. Staff and atmosphere are always lovely. Welcoming of all folks, including kids and babies!I always love their lattes and baked goods. Better croissants than what I’ve had in Paris! Worth the money!”
“We just had another great meal at Little Hut Curry. The portions are also great and very economical if you compare them to rest of the restaurants in the area. Besides the owners are two of the nicest people. Recommend the lamb curry and the paneer sage.”
“I had the Carne en sus jugos and my wife had Chicken tacos. We were very pleased with our food. The decor is beautiful with very nice decorations that are displayed around the place. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone who is looking for a dining experience.”
“5 out of 5 stars - I would highly recommend Iguanas! They provided the catering for our wedding and it was delicious! All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed the food, lots of folks even went for seconds! We have received tons of compliments on the food. They are a talented crew, making things happen even when we had a few power issues at the reception. Overall we are super happy with our wedding food and will be back to our regular visits to the restaurant for dinner as soon as we're back from the honeymoon ❤️ Thank you again!!!!!”
“Quality sushi at a great price! Great to have the convenience of grab and go sushi that is always delicious. Attentive and kind staff.Vegetarian options: Yam roll, avocado roll, salads”
“Amazing food! Better than any Indian food I've ever had around Vancouver. The garlic Naan is to die for, they don't skimp on the garlic! I had the Lamb Methi Malai and we had Fish Pakora as a starter. SO ”
“I tried the sweet and spicy wings. So salty 1 wing sent me gagging to the washroom. after gagging for 15 minutes, I was presented with the bill. My dinner mates packed the remaining wings to go, but having tried one, spit it out and threw the rest away. Very disappointing experience.”
“my hubby wanted to celebrate his 65th and we decided to go to Strikers. Glad we did, fabulous service and food. portions were so big we took half home. hightly recommended”
“Holy moly I want to try everything here. Amazing selection of baked goodies, and very good food. I'm just a visitor to Powell riv. but this place is a real Gem!”
“Love this place. Food's decent. Service is super nice. But it's homey, comfortable, and non-pretentious. Local artists are featured there in one part of the space, adjacent from a library wall behind their counter space. Old school bar stools line a classic dinner counter. I go as often as I pass through. Also, it's basically the only thing in Cranberry for breakfast/brunch.”
“Absolutely delicious food & incredibly staff who made me feel at home, despite me being here short term for a work project. I'll be making the trip back with my wife & daughter in the very near future.”
“This must be the best Japanese restaurant in Powell River. The food is on point and noticeably fresh. They have cute little booths so you can eat as much as you want without anybody judging. Service is great too.”
“Absolutely loved the food. It was so fresh. Very delicious. The service was fantastic and the family that owns the restaurant is so welcoming and sweet. They went above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed, especially with our 1.5 year old. We will deffinetly be going back!”
“We just ordered a take out meal from Zabb Dee Kitchen last night and we were very pleased with the meal. Fast friendly service and great food. Everything we ordered was very tasty and portions are large. Looking forward to eating the leftovers tonight.”
“Excellent! As historical as the site is, there is an amazing newness to the place. The food is like none other, is equal to fine dining. The vintage classic decor really stamps this bistro as a Powell River gem. Thank you John for the great evening, our meal was delicious and fancy. Love the fountain feature, and the furnishings. A true virtue of Powell River was all the real wood throughout. Well Done! Looking forward to the dinner theatre in early March.”
