In our search for a casual place to have a snack/early dinner, my parents and I drove by Chengdu Noodle House and thought it'd be worth a try. I'm inclined to believe there is free parking in the attached parkade. However, the spaces are colour coded and allocated to one of the three attached buildings. I have randomly stumbled on and enjoyed this little hometown joint immensely. The spices are used generously and authentically. Not sure why the rating is low, but I would definitely come again if I am in town. The only downside is, they did not inform me that I have to spend $40 to use my credit card, but again, all the dishes are so reasonably priced.

So good — really accessible for everyone, too. We ordered Dan-Dan noodles, Xiao long bao, spicy wontons in hot oil, boiled peanuts, and sautéed greens. Everything was really good — the DD noodles was the best I’ve had since eating them in Chengdu — and I would highly recommend this place. Plus the servers were smiling and friendly — so good.
