“Good environment and atmosphereThe service attitude is also very goodFast serving timeThe food options are diverse and the ingredients are freshAlthough it’s all you can eat, the quality is just as good as the previous à la carte options.“
“can call the server from a room (if your group is big). and they will come really quickly.they got free parking in aberdeen center parking.will want to wear a dark color as its likely to get soup splattered onto ur shirt or top.they have aprons and cover for your jackets. but aprons wont save your shoulder and arm“
“It's an All You Can It hotpot, but except for the meat, the portions are huge! There's almost no need to order it twice. Meat, fish, and vegetables are all fresh. The servers were so busy that it was a bit difficult to pick up the menu.It said reservations were fully booked online, but when I looked around and ate, there were quite a few empty seats.“
“One of a kind, homemade tofu shop! Anything you get here will be delicious. I always make sure to stop by and grab a snack and jug to go every time I’m in the neighbourhood. They offer their classic tofu dessert with house made ginger syrup and soy milk. Awesome service and you can watch the soy milk being made fresh while you eat! They’ve also got a great take out selection.Btw they accept cash or debit only!Vegetarian options: Basically everything here is vegetarian! and gluten free“
“CLOUD 9 DELICACY (Richmond)so this place had 4.6 stars on google! I HAD to try it!!! A hole in the wall joint with above average ratings!!!Unfortunately it does not live up to its 4.6 stars. Maybe 4.0 stars at the most!So firstly, when you arrive, they have like 50+ items on the menu. When I tried to order, they told me that today I could only order from the Chefs Special menu which had maybe 8 items on it. UGH! Thankfully the popcorn chicken on rice was on my radar...The portion was MASSIVE! Definitely a win for best value. BUT is it the best Taiwanese popcorn fried chicken? Nope. CHJ Bistro beats it in terms of quality and taste. Will I come back here again? Hmmmm maybe just to try another dish, but definitely not a place I would frequent.“
“Individual hotpots allowing for individual spiciness, soup bases are flavorful, sauce bar is well stocked, staff r attentive and replenished sauces and never allow the snacks to be low. Meat and food quality is good but as expected, good service and quality come at a premium. Worth it though!“
“In a time when customer service has seemingly taken a backseat; this place rises above and these are the type of people I wish to support and hope to succeed. What a great environment, quality items and DELICIOUS food. I could not recommend this place enough. Thank you so much for your generosity, service and amazing food. We hope to return.“
“This restaurant offers authentic flavors with generous portions, even providing complimentary extra noodles. Our family of four comes every Tuesday, availing the member discount for two bowls (second one half-price). Adding an extra portion of noodles, the total is around 30 dollars. Highly recommend the lamb soup, tripe, flower jelly chicken, and pepper pig stomach noodle. For dinner, you can park on the second floor in the designated spaces for company vehicles; it's unmonitored after office hours.“
“Amazingly home cooked type Chinese cuisine, very suitable for vegans. The flavourful mock meats like vegan chickn and BBQ sauce with vegan meat slices are mouth watering. The baos are also terrific.Only wish they'd provide rice with the main dishes (it's to be bought paying extra) and also have more seating area (that's not their fault though since it's in a food court).Vegetarian options: All vegan dishes“
“This place offers authentic Szechuan cuisine that we cannot easily find in Vancouver, since our favorite Hunan restaurant was closed. Both their food and their interior design are one of a kind. The spiciness is very Szechuan and it doesn’t seem to have too much MSG which will make you thirsty afterwards. Think about trying their fish next time as the Szechuan fish is so tasty and famous. The only drawback should be their parking lot where a standard SUV can hardly drive into the rear lot or may leave very limited space for opening the doors parking side by side.“
“Dropped by here yesterday for a quick Chinese lunch. What you get for the price you pay is really worth it. We live in Surrey and we make a stop here everytime we're in Richmond. The flavor and the portion servings is topnotch!! Will be back again!!“
“Jinsha rice cake crab, dry-roasted eggplant, tender shredded pork, couple's lung slices, yogurt pudding. The second time I visited this restaurant, the dishes other than beef were also quite good. Looking forward to trying new dishes next time.“
“We ordered?Steamed Milk with Egg White双皮奶?Osmanthus & Fermented Rice Fresh Soybean Milk桂花酒酿豆浆?Shrimp, beef and pork Rice Roll三喜肠粉?Char Siu Rice Roll叉烧肠粉All are of good taste! My favorites are shrimp beef pork rice roll and steamed milk w/ egg white. The later one is of more creaminess and tastes soft and sweet but not greasy! It's located at a food court. So, I don't have expectations on their service and atmosphere. It's very like the food court in China so I like it!“
“the most interesting Taiwanese restaurant in Richmond, serving some of the traditional dishes , snacks and small bites. great for hangout, late nights and post dinner meet ups. my favourites are their Turkey meat sauce on rice and their traditional soy tofu pudding with 3 colour yam balls! hands down, the best!!“
“Amazing Indian Chinese food. We ve tried a lot of other places in Vancouver and Hakka Momo Corner has been the best so far. The Manchow soup was very flavorful. We ordered everything medium to hot and it was quite spicy! Will definitely be back. The atmosphere isnt great for dine in and they delayed our order for pick up but it was worth the wait.Vegetarian options: Lots of options and things can be customized.Parking: Easy parking outside the store“
“Ordered grilled lamb rack, fried potato slices, lamb soup, lamb dumplings, grilled pancake. The best dish was the lamb rack. The second best dish (close 2nd) were the dumplings. Fantastic, the juice inside had a strong lamb flavor. The fat on there was so perfect with the dried spice, it may be the best lamb fish I've had all year. The soup was good but unexciting. The potatoes were actually quite a bit better than I expected.“
“Hidden gem - parking is not greatHad dinner here and it was tasty. Not the cheapest for Cantonese but it’s open til midnight and offers better quality food than most places open after 10pm.Couldn’t find parking at 8pm on a Friday so we parked on the street and walked a block over. Place is tiny but manages to accommodate two large round tables along with the usual two and four top seating. They even have an aquarium for live seafood.Ordered four dishes plus a bucket of rice and the bill came to $125 without tip. We had leftovers from all four dishes for our family of four so we could have gotten three dishes instead. The meal also came with a free melon and pork soup which was really good. Our dishes were the beef brisket & dried bean curd hot pot, shrimp and scrambled eggs, steamed minced pork and Chinese sausage, and deep fried spareribs in spicy salt. The best dish was the shrimp and scrambled eggs. The spareribs were lightly battered compared to other places I’ve been to, my husband enjoyed the hotpot but he thought the steamed minced pork was too similar to the steamed meatballs you get at dimsum.Overall I would come back because the food is good and the hours are convenient. I wouldn’t go often because it’s not cheap but it’s probably $5 more per dish compared to the average for casual Cantonese in Richmond or Vancouver.“
“I just went there at noon and ordered the spicy Maoxianzi noodles. It’s not spicy but the spicy pepper is quite fragrant.Enough portionThe understanding of capillary is different. It is thicker than ordinary capillary. This is not a big problem. It’s just that the noodles don’t look like handmade noodles, they should be noodles pressed by a machine. They are not chewy, not strong, and the soup is mushy.Suddenly there were a lot of people at noon, most of them were rushing for goods. This food court doesn’t have much atmosphere, but the service and portion are better than it is. It’s worth the price, affordable, and the taste is okay. I’ll give it four stars.“
“I would like to express my sincere gratitude and praise to you here! I am very impressed with your BBQ restaurant and I really enjoyed my dining experience there.First of all, I would like to thank you for your warm hospitality and excellent service. From the moment I stepped into the store, you and your team welcomed me with smiles and a warm attitude. From the waiters to the kitchen staff, everyone seemed very professional and friendly. Not only were they able to provide superb service, they also took the initiative to recommend delicious dishes to me, which made me feel real care and consideration.Secondly, I must commend you for the quality and taste of your food. Your barbecue is so delicious! Every dish is carefully cooked, with fresh ingredients and special seasonings, which makes me have endless aftertaste. I have to mention that your kebabs are simply divine delicacies. What’s more, your menu has a wide variety, whether it’s meat, seafood or vegetables, to satisfy the tastes of different customers, which is really great!Additionally, I would like to compliment you on the dining environment and ambience. Your store is very warm and cozy, making me feel right at home. The clean and tidy dining environment and pleasant music add a lot of fun to dining. Also, I especially love your outdoor patio area, really great for family dinners or gatherings with friends. Finally, I would like to express my sincere gratitude again. Your barbecue restaurant brought me an unforgettable dining experience. I will definitely recommend your restaurant to my friends and family. I wish your business is prosperous and I hope I can taste your delicious food next time I come back. Thanks again to you and your team for a great time!Best wishes,a loyal customer“
“Given the hype of this restaurant, I had high expectations but the BBQ Pork (aka Char Siu) was a let down and definitely not the best I’ve had. With that said, I’d give this place another chance to try another dish in the future.Cash only.“
“You better make a reservation in advance before having dim sum in Kirin. As I know they are quite full even in weekdays. Kirin is the only restaurant I am willing to have dim sum in North America. Dim sum is in high quality and with prompt service .“
“??One dish of Hainanese chicken rice: the meat is tender and the skin is smooth, but there is no chicken flavor. The green onion and ginger paste have a heavy onion flavor and a light ginger flavor. I prefer the strong ginger flavor. The garlic flavor is stronger when dipped in water, which is not my thing, but The chicken oil rice is salty enough and is quite suitable. The soup should be peppered pork belly. It has a strong peppery flavor and I like it very much. Comprehensive cost-effective recommendation“
“We are from Wuhan. For 30 years, we have been looking for hot and dry noodles everywhere. We found Canada from the United States, and we have eaten a lot of hot and dry noodles, but there are only a few very authentic ones, and this one is one of them! I asked the boss, the main seasonings of his hot dry noodles are all from China, so the taste is really different, very authentic. The noodle nest is also very good, very loose and crisp. Folks who want to eat authentic Wuhan hot and dry noodles can really go to "Nine Dollars and Nine" to satisfy their cravings!“
“Spicy Pro Hot Pot 8542 Granville St, Vancouver, BC V6P 4Z7 Spicy Pro Hot Pot brings a unique and thoroughly enjoyable new dining experience to our neighborhood of Marpole. The aroma of the soup bases wafting from the modest storefront will stop you in your tracks and draw you inside. After choosing from a wide array of ingredients to add to one of three delicious soup bases, you can relax and enjoy the fun and cozy ambiance while the kitchen prepares your dish. When it arrives at your table in a generously large and elegant serving bowl you will immediately notice the care with which it has been assembled. Presentation is not lacking here and the money is being spent in the right place: the kitchen! I and my partner are not light eaters, and we come away stuffed and blissed-out for less than $50. The staff provide patient and thoughtful assistance to new customers choosing their ingredients and spice level for the first time. We love spicy food and usually order things hot, but the mild level is just right for us here.“
“First time have a breakfast here, yes the restaurant is dated but the food is pretty good, nicely fried sausages, well made over easy double eggs, nice fresh toast for under $10, add a Little over $2 for a perfect cup of coffee & refillable, lots of loyal customers.“
“This is a nice restaurant to go to when you are looking to treat yourself for a night out. It is a small cozy place but can be cramped if you have a large party. They have a wide selection of food in their menu. The combo is a great deal and reasonably priced for the amount of food you get: you can choose your own broth, type of meat, a drink, and udon/rice/vermicelli. You will definitely leave with your stomach full.Service is great from the start. If you go at night time, they can get busy, but the servers are polite and accommodating. They do their job to inform you that everyone in your party must arrive to be seated. Even when they are busy, wait time is reasonable and not too long. They will even let you see the menu and take your order while you wait, so you will sit down with your food ready in front of you. Servers are attentive as well throughout, will make sure you have what you need at all times.10/10 would recommend to at least try once“
“Staff are greatParking: Part of the mall so there is free parking on 4 floors for 3 hoursKid-friendliness: Easily accessible with an arcade in the food court as well as a children's play area where you can pay to leave your kidWheelchair accessibility: This is located inside the food court and is accessible by elevator“
“I ordered the vegetarian three-cup chicken and pork ribs railway bento. My Hong Kong friends said it was very authentic Taiwanese food and the rice was delicious! It’s a cheap and big bowl, so girls with small appetites can make two meals and save money!Cash only!“
“Food is so good and at a very reasonable price. Have been coming here for more than 8 years. The cold noodles and lamb burger are absolutely amazing. I could eat them all week. The portion size is very generous too! I highly recommend. One of my fav place in Richmond that is highly addictive.“
“A decent spot. We tried the R1 cheung fan with beef shrimp and chive, S26 braise beef lo mein, and hk milk tea.The cheung fan was a little over steamed but the flavour was quite tasty. The braised beef lo mein was actually really good and I'd come back just for this. The noodles were a perfect balance of soft and chewy and the meat was very tender. The hk milk tea tasted powdery and was hard to mix to a good consistency to enjoy.“
“a hip spot for hanging out with friends . I love their grilled fish. Very flavourful and delicious. It's a big portion that can be shared with 2-3 people! They recently introduced more drink menu like shots. Their price for 6 shots ($15.95-$30) is such a deal !Which means drink more for less =) Also a Tasting Tray which includes 6 beers for $38.95. Talk about affordable drinks and great food!“
“This is a Cantonese restaurant that I will definitely come to when in Vancouver. I am very satisfied with both the dining environment and the service?! The food in the restaurant tastes very good! This time I came here specifically to eat king crab, and the Maggi king crab cooked by the chef himself was really delicious! Jack, who helped us locate the place, was very attentive and helped us prepare everything from appetizers to desserts, and the service was perfect! The food is delicious! recommend!“
“Came here on a Saturday afternoon, we were seated promptly after a 5-10 minute wait. Very friendly staff and food was amazing. Highly recommend to try their Dumpling King - 6 pieces of pan-fried Shanghainese dumpling, very flavourful and oozing with hot soup when bitten into. The dry noodle with braised pork chop was also phenomenal - the meat was super tender and sweet. They also have some chili oil and vinegar on the side which goes very well with the food. One critique is that quite a few bowls/dipping sauce plate were not cleaned properly when they were brought to us. There were stains on the bowls but the staff replaced them promptly for us.Overall, this place is a bustling small restaurant that serves traditional and well-made Shanghainese food, definitely recommend trying out.“
“Absolutely incredible dining experience! The food at Shanghai River is simply exceptional. From the perfectly crispy Peking duck to the savory xiao long bao, every dish is bursting with flavor and authenticity. The ambiance is inviting and the service is top-notch. Whether you're craving traditional Shanghai cuisine or looking to explore new flavors, this restaurant is a must-visit. Can't wait to come back for more!“
“CRISPY! CRISPY! CRISPY!Definitely one of the best (if not the best) places in Richmond for clay pot rice. Crispy rice at the bottom of the pot. The way it should be.The Free Range Chicken with Mushroom was soooo good. It took 20mins for them to make it. But it was well worth the wait. All the items were in English. Unlike some of the other food courts in Richmond, where they’re all in Chinese. Makes ordering so much easier. Will be back to try their other dishes.,“
“A very amazing barbecue restaurant! The store was very busy when I went there, so it is strongly recommended to make a reservation in advance, otherwise you may have to wait until after nine o'clock. The three of us ordered a beef platter and a pork platter. The presentation was very nice, but to be honest, the portions were not very large. The side dishes provided are plentiful and delicious, and are provided based on the number of people. The atmosphere in the store is very good, many people are drinking and chatting together, and there are plastic boards between each seat.“
“Great place for their lunch buffet. Amazing value with quality food and great variety! They even had crab for lunch with 2 flavors. Very family friendly as our 1 year old broke a bowl and I insisted to pay them to replace it and they refused my extra tip. Class act!“
“Hidden gem. Highly recommend.First review from November: I ordered the Fat Sausage Noodles and felt that the chef was thoughtful in cooking, so I gave it a positive review. First of all, the portion is large, with so much fatty intestines that it covers the noodles. The further you go, the more side dishes you eat. The price of $11.5 is a reasonable price. Secondly, the ingredients taste good. The sausage is not too soft and has a bit of chewiness, as is the noodles. The bean sprouts, fungus, and cabbage are all cooked just right, not too raw or too cooked. The soup base is also just right, not too thick and not too light. Overall a very good bowl of noodles. Maybe it's because there are few people in this food court, and the chefs have enough time to cook. The quality is beyond the average food court level. I don’t like spicy food, so I didn’t ask for chili pepper. Adding a bit of spiciness would greatly enhance the flavor of this bowl of noodles. Will come again in the future and will add comments if the quality drops.Second review in December: This is my second visit and I brought a friend to try the fat sausage noodles. The quality is still good. I ordered beef tripe with scallion oil. It was carefully made and had a layered taste. It was a bit sweet and sour in the mouth. The spiciness gradually came out when chewing the tripe. With the aroma of scallion oil, it was very appetizing. Also highly recommended.April 22: The meat sauce noodles are a little surprising and very affordable. Continue next time. Large intestine noodles as always?February 24: Haven’t been here for a while. Delicious as always.“
“Nothing like a cut out of Jay Chou to get you going for a Chinese breakfast! We came here because it was one of the only places of repute open early enough for our midday flight out of Vancouver. We got two crepes and a soy milk to share. The soy milk was a little on the sweet side, but overall everything was delicious. We weren't able to finish all of our food, and packed half of one of the crepes for later. We forgot all about it and ate it after our flight back home, and it was STILL DELICIOUS!“
“This restaurant has a really pretty exterior and interior. I recommend coming early as there is always a long line. Ordered the Chinese sauerkraut fish along with the noodles. Thought it was pretty decent, it started getting spicier towards the end.“
“来过这家餐厅吃饭很多次了 之前很火很忙 虽然这次人不多 可是餐品还是一如即往的稳定 还新出了很多新菜品 结账的时候还告知有抽奖和满赠活动 串烧很不错,还有蛋白炒饭也是必点之一啊“
“The ingredients are fresh and delicious as always. Every time I come to Vancouver, I must come to The Fish Man to eat seafood. What I like most is that they don’t use too many or too heavy seasonings. You can always taste the original taste of the ingredients. What’s even more special is the Chef Both the supervisor and Lisa will always pay attention to the taste of the guests on site. It is a rare good restaurant. No wonder it is packed with guests every day. Be sure to make a reservation when you go ?“
“A taste of Szechuan cuisine, really great! The restaurant is not big, but it is very neat and tidy, bright and comfortable. It can accommodate two, four or even eight people for gathering and drinking. Every dish is decent and tastes good. You can choose the spiciness yourself. The price is very affordable, especially the set meal, which is really super member price. The services are very good. They are nice“
“The service is really considerate. They bring you snacks, and you can play PS4 and Little Overlord while waiting. The service is really great. She took the initiative to add paper towels to me, and also took the initiative to tie my hair with a rubber band. Got a lot of favoritesCoriander, and it’s very gentle and has a good attitude. I will come again next time.“
“Authentic Taiwanese eatery that brings you back to the origin of the classic "hot-stir fried" dishes. It's permanently on my rotation list of cravings. Service is always pleasant and interior is tastefully decorated as well. A side of jazz in the background is a rare bonus these days.My go-to picks are the Cumin Lamb, Garlic stir-fried A-Chai (Chinese Lettuce), Ginger Clam Soup, and the Spicy Deep-Fried Chicken Steak (椒麻雞排). Their Caramel shaved ice is perfect to share with a group of friends as well!“
“One of the best HK style noodle place....wonton...brisket..tendon..sui gow...Hainese chicken...hk style milk tea...lemon tea...it's all good..even better then some places in HK.. one of my highest recommendation.. I give them 100 out of 10..wheelchair access ..kids friendly ...plaza and street parking“
“Fisherman's Terrace Chinese Seafood Restaurant exceeded all expectations! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff. The ambiance was inviting, with a perfect blend of modern elegance and traditional charm. Now, let's talk about the food - absolutely divine! Each dish was expertly prepared with fresh ingredients and bursting with authentic flavors. The seafood selection was particularly impressive; every bite was a delight for the taste buds. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring our every need was met without being intrusive. The attention to detail truly sets Fisherman's Terrace apart from other restaurants.Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply craving exceptional Chinese cuisine, I highly recommend Fisherman's Terrace. It's a dining experience that will leave you wanting to come back for more. Truly deserving of five stars!“
“Ordered takeout here a few times, the spicy beef noodle soup and the dumplings are absolutey phenomenal. The wonton soup is also delicious. However, their szechuan crispy fried pork left a lot to be desired. Stay away from that, and stick to the noodle soup and dumplings.“
“Had dinner here twice last week while visiting Richmond, everything we had was awesome, no wonder the place looks so busy everytime we drove by. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion, service was friendly, fast and efficient, hard to find in chinese restaurants, Wish you would open a branch here in Calgary.“
“This is my first time to dine at Haidilao, and I feel the service is beyond five-star. Thank you to the waiter Iris for the warm welcome. Although there were a lot of people dining tonight, Iris remembered our waiting status and helped us eat as soon as possible with a smile on her face. Thank you to the waiter Jay for your tableside service. Jay always paid attention to the progress of our meal, and did everything in detail including cleaning, replenishing water, replenishing the soup base, etc. In addition, our friends at the same table left first, and the service staff immediately came to ask about the status of their friends' meals. We specially prepared takeaway snacks for our friends who could not finish their meals. In addition, Jeff, the master of lo mein, has many tricks and I respect his skills. The important thing is that the lo mein is delicious!I am also in the catering industry, and I have great respect for the service quality of the service staff Iris, Jay, and Dazhai!!! Thank you for their service. I will be willing to dine there again and introduce it to my friends.“
